I usually analyze the big three and so, according to Astrotheme, Chris Brown has his Ascendant in Leo, Sun and Moon in Taurus.Rihanna, on the other hand, has her Ascendant in Gemini and her Sun/Moon in Pisces/Aries respectively.
Chris’ moon in Taurus describes someone who is extremely introverted and private. The moon here is deliberate and often listens to their inner hunch and “what they know for sure” than the advice/comments of others. This is how they keep that “inner peace” thing that they are legendary known for.
The moon in this position, however, must be careful in being "too" self-sufficient: Often, when relating to others, the Taurus moon has to learn to balance their inner awareness with the awareness of the other parties needs.
Often, it can be that the Taurus moon can be so inwardly focused, that they tend to forget about the other party in the relationship. This may cause the other party to feel alienated or only called for “service” to satisfy the lunar Taurian’s needs: Awareness of self but also of others needs to be cultivated by this position.
The moon is not in a comfortable position in the Midheaven; making Chris’ need to relate personally with others (moon) very much clash with a rigid , consistent, public image (Midheaven): He may be forced to focus on public life and areas very much outside the private relationship. He definitely wouldn’t want it that way, but then again, celebrity culture may have made it inevitable.
In public, he may project a stoic public image (Taurus 10th house). But in private or in one-on-one he may be very personal.
Now Rihanna seems to be very different but similar in temperament(oddly enough).
Rihanna has her moon in feisty Aries; a likely position (notwithstanding Aquarius) to court controversy without batting an eyelid.
Aries moon is all about action, instinct and living from what you feel. It is a fiery temperament that has little regard for boundaries and rules.
The moon in this position is not at its best; people with this position come across as macho, aggressive, pushy and conceited: Whereas the moon here should be passive, “other concerned” nurturing and gentle.
Aries moon should try to harness their needs in a way that won’t be detrimental to the people they relate to. There is so much self-centeredness in this position that the person concerned may seem very selfish in relation with others. Spontaneous decision, for instance, that involve two people, will often be made by one person (usually the Aries moon) without consulting/forgetting all about the other.
In a patriarchal society that we live in, however, this position of the moon is seen as “strong” and “bold”; especially in a field where such traits are needed to cultivate success(in this instance, the Entertainment industry)
Now the moon is also not very comfortable in the 11th house either; it makes the need to for personal contact and majority interests (moon) clash very much with the principles of the 11th house; the minorities, their ideals and reform of standing structures:It is often a position of someone who condescends the majority ideals in favour of the minority principles. A steady, docile consistent life can be swapped easily for a more, exciting, “different”, even “momentary” existence.
The moon in Aries in 11th will only add to this detachment from relating to the majority group, by making her, champion, fight for and even initiate the minority group’s ideals for reform and change.
One on one, however, she is very relatable and honest; it can even seem like you understand or know her.
It’s unlikely that she’ll be shy or cryptic when answering question. The Aries impulsive nature always wants to just “put it out there” in a no holds barred type of fashion-rarely concerned with what others think.
Now the two of them together is interesting because you have two very self-focused individuals who are trying to relate to each other as well as define their relationship within the public.
Both can be so self-focused and not budge to the other’s influence. Aries moon, especially, can get pushy and forceful when what they want is not forthcoming whilst Taurus moon can be indolent and defensive in the face of aggression.
The two may not rub each other right all the time, but because both are very much in the public eye and both are young, they may have more in common than the average Aries/Taurus moons which are not in the same position.
I think it is more a contextual relationship. I don’t think that they are “match made in heaven” duo. And so this could be a relationship that just “makes sense”.
