T O P I C R E V I E WAmberMoonThis man is a long time friend of mine - almost 2 decades. We met in college when we were 18 years old. We've seen each other through lots of changes. I married one of his best friends when we were 23 years old. He is a very very attractive man and successful but he's still single after all these years! I kind of had a little crush on him when we first met and for a few years after as I was dating his friend (my now husband) but that's over and done with. We have some interesting synastry aspects and wondering if anyone can take a look and tell me what you think. I have been on the hunt to find him a lady for YEARS. I feel like I am supposed to find him his wife but he is making it so hard and really making me work for it, LOL. Please give insight! Thank you!!!!Synastry chart (I am red, he's blue) My name asteroid is the aqua/sag and his is the aries/cap. Composite chart (my name asteroid is in capricorn, his is in aqua) athenaiaTell him to date someone born April 10-17th (their Sun will be conjunct his Mars/Venus and opposite his Moon and square his Vertex) Or someone born May 10th-16th (their Sun will be conjunct his NN/MC, sextile his Sun, opposite his Saturn) :P Honestly Venus opposite Moon men are deeply, deeply complicated creatures. AmberMoon quote:Originally posted by athenaia:Tell him to date someone born April 10-17th (their Sun will be conjunct his Mars/Venus and opposite his Moon and square his Vertex) Or someone born May 10th-16th (their Sun will be conjunct his NN/MC, sextile his Sun, opposite his Saturn) :P Honestly Venus opposite Moon men are deeply, deeply complicated creatures. HAHA, I set him up with a lady last year who's birthday was April 28th so right in between those dates. They got along great, he thought he was going to break her heart, he ended up doing something really stupid that upset her and she broke up with him thus breaking HIS heart! Anything you see in our synastry or composite to point to such a long term friendship? Thank you!!PS: Complicated is an UNDERSTATEMENT. However, I worked with an older gentleman once who had moon opp venus and he was deeply committed to his wife of 50 years so....???athenaialmao then you have very good instincts if you already recommended him someone born within that time frame! I have to head to work now but I promise I'll give a better analysis when I get back <3AmberMoonBumpathenaiaOkay I'm back! So sorry about that delay Amber, got ambushed with work stuff last week So, you are definitely a significant person in his life. You tick a lot of boxes for him, no doubt about that. He's looking for someone pretty similar to you actually. His DSC is in Aqua, so yes he wants an unconventional girl that marches to the beat of her own drum. Someone that isn't into cliche things, someone that bucks tradition/expectation, someone very interesting. His Moon is conj Pluto (out-of-sign conjunction) so he wants INTENSITY, clinginess, ride or die-ness, someone very deep, someone with history/possibly a traumatic past, someone very very loyal. He wants conversations that are very deep, philosophical, erotic, taboo. He wants a woman that is fierce, competitive, athletic, combative, confrontational, an alpha female, someone with a lusty appetite, a woman in touch with the darkest part of herself, someone that effortlessly oozes eroticism. Because Venus is in his 9th house, he wants someone educated, well-traveled, perhaps someone foreign, or someone that's a different race than him, or someone that's a polyglot, or someone with advanced academic degrees. But his Moon is in Libra so he also wants someone charming, the iron fist in the velvet glove, someone diplomatic, someone that has very good manners/etiquette, that prioritizes their interpersonal relationships. His 7th house ruler is Uranus in the 4th so he also wants someone that's close to their family, maternal, someone that's a good cook, someone that has a home/or at least decorates their apartment rather stylishly. His natal Uranus (7th house chart ruler) is square his Pisces Sun so he wants someone unpredictable, someone that always surprises him, someone that has a LOT of layers to their mind/personality So basically... he wants it all, and it will probably be impossible to satisfy his desires because VERY FEW people on this earth can embody all of those differing qualities effortlessly. Thank you so much for helping me out by reading our charts! No problem on the delays. I am very busy with work as well!ROFL! Man, I knew he was hard to please and it's so funny to see it from an astrological point of view! Ugh, it's hard because I want him to find someone and fall in love so bad and so does he but I seriously don't know if this woman exists at all and if she does, she's certainly not single!I wonder why I'm a significant person in his life? Like astrologically speaking what do you mean by that? We certainly have a lot of deep meaningful conversations and I'm always surprised by how much he gravitates more towards me than my husband who was his roommate in college and who I met him through. I always kind of wondered if there was more there....Don't get me wrong he is very very good looking and successful but there's just something that he doesn't do for me. I can't quite figure it out. I think it may be that he's TOO good looking if that makes any sense.I was looking at his progressed charts and noticed that this weekend when I saw him his progressed moon JUST changed to 0 degrees Pisces in 7th house. Also, Neptune has been transiting over his Sun for the last few years. I feel like this doesn't bode well for finding true lasting love. Are you good at reading transit and progression charts??athenaiaYour significance in his life: Your Moon is almost exactly conjunct his DSC (the two fastest moving bodies in the chart are the angles and the Moon, so when this syncs up perfectly it's quite rare), you both have a Saturn conj Node double whammy (you both owe each other a karmic debt), your Mars is on his Vertex (something about the way your carry yourself/go about your life is meant to inspire him and it should be something he should mirror as well), your Venus is conj his Uranus (7th house chart ruler) so he feels like he has a lot of electrifying chemistry with you, your IC/DC angles are synced up which is a soul mate-esque connection (or soul tribe if we wanna make this more platonic), his your NN is conjunct his MC so your life path is something that he could take inspiration from re: his career, your Saturn/Mercury is conjunct his IC so you're a grounding force for him and a lot of your life philosophies resonate with him in a significant way Progressed Moon in Pisces isn't always a death knell - I had prog. Moon in Pisces and I started a one year long relationship with someone very Neptunian (their Moon/North Node was in the 12th house) Didn't last but yeah it was a relationship Transit Neptune conj his Sun could actually mean that this is the time he meets his soul mate (worst case scenario he falls in love with someone who is completely and utterly terrible for him) AmberMoon quote:Originally posted by athenaia:Your significance in his life: Your Moon is almost exactly conjunct his DSC (the two fastest moving bodies in the chart are the angles and the Moon, so when this syncs up perfectly it's quite rare), you both have a Saturn conj Node double whammy (you both owe each other a karmic debt), your Mars is on his Vertex (something about the way your carry yourself/go about your life is meant to inspire him and it should be something he should mirror as well), your Venus is conj his Uranus (7th house chart ruler) so he feels like he has a lot of electrifying chemistry with you, your IC/DC angles are synced up which is a soul mate-esque connection (or soul tribe if we wanna make this more platonic), his your NN is conjunct his MC so your life path is something that he could take inspiration from re: his career, your Saturn/Mercury is conjunct his IC so you're a grounding force for him and a lot of your life philosophies resonate with him in a significant way Progressed Moon in Pisces isn't always a death knell - I had prog. I feel as though we’re actually getting closer the older we get. I just got off the phone with him, we were talking for the last hour while the husband was out fishing. He just broke up with his girlfriend of 10 months right when his progressed moon changed. I think he’s still hung up on the woman I set him up with last year who dumped him. You see, he’s never been rejected or dumped before so she left a mark. She actually sounds A LOT like his ideal woman that you described earlier. They’re synastry was interesting, maybe I’ll post it. Weird question, but do you think he’s attracted to me based on our charts? Like more than friends? You said he feels electrifying chemistry?? I would have never guessed, he seems so chill. I’ve been doing more reading on moon/DSC and Mars/vtx. athenaiaFor my astrology skills, I'm not sure if I can determine whether romantic feelings are present or not in a synastry/composite (Stoika and Todd are far far better at that than I am being the midpoint masters that they are)From what I can surmise? Yes, if not romantic, then definitely sexual. Your Moon in his 7th (at least conjunct his DSC), your Mars and Jupiter in his 5th, your Venus in his 4th, your Sun conjunct his Pluto, these are all classic indicators for compatibility in synastry. You don't put anything in his 8th house, but your Jupiter is loosely conjunct his 8th house ruler.. You don't put anything in his 9th or have strong Aries in your chart, but you do have a strong Mars... Your Suns are VERY loosely trine (the Sun is his chart ruler)The ruler of his Moon is Venus, which has a supporting trine for your Neptune So honestly, just based on my personal opinion, yes he has romantic feelings for you He is a FAR cry from your ideal match though, you'd actually never feel the same way about him as he does for you if hypothetically you guys were to get together. He'd fall more in love with you as time goes on whereas you'd always feel like there's quite a bit missing AmberMoon quote:Originally posted by athenaia:For my astrology skills, I'm not sure if I can determine whether romantic feelings are present or not in a synastry/composite (Stoika and Todd are far far better at that than I am being the midpoint masters that they are)From what I can surmise? Yah, I get that feeling a lot lately like he's gravitating closer to me, and whatever crush/attraction feelings I had in the beginning umpteen years ago are nonexistent now that I'm older and wiser. I do feel like he is a great friend and we have really good conversations but there's just SOMETHING missing for me. Even if I was single, I just couldn't see myself with him. No, we will never get together haha! I just kind of always wondered and now I got my answer! Maybe I should put some distance between us then? I don't want to give him the wrong idea. No more hour long phone conversations? I really do want him to find the love of his life, it would make me so so happy. Just listening to him on the phone last night talking about his most recent breakup just hurt my heart. I think he gets his hopes up that this might be the one and then he eventually gets disillusioned and dumps the woman. They just don't ever live up to his ideal woman who we have already established doesn't exist LOL. But thanks to your interpretation of his chart I will definitely be on the lookout for someone who comes close! Maybe our karmic debt is that I'm supposed to find him a wife - I don't know why I feel that so strongly. I just realized that composite Venus is square the nodes/Saturn but maybe the orb is too large?PS: I have not seen Todd on this board in quite some time, have you? It seems to be a little quiet here but it could just be due to summer and activities. Thanks again!@Stoika, if you get a chance would you mind looking in on our composite? Also, have you heard from or seen Todd on here lately?
