T O P I C R E V I E Wjust meI JUST recieved news that a friend of mine ,who has something wrong with her liver I can't remember what, was involuntarily involed in a armed robbery and stabbing of a drug dealer with her exboyfriend. The worst she can be sentenced is a couple of months of community service and counseling and the worst would be that she would go to jail for two-three years. My friend needs a liver transplant and it wasn't already likely at first, but now if she's sent to jail she won't recieve one at all at. The estimated time she has to live if she doesn't get the liver transplant is two-three years, so she'll be die either in jail or soon after she gets out-if she's sentenced that. What I want to know is that if my friend is going to be alright..if she will recieve a liver transplant and be able to live her life. She's recieveing absolutely no support from her family; her father, after being beat near to death by the mother of this exboyfriend's child, saying that she deserved it because she was a bad child. Her mother has no backbone and soaks up what her father says, and her sister, which honestly surprised me, is also pracitally agreeing with her father with saying she deserves what she got, and is not supporting her in her court case or anything with this. I've known her since I was a child and she has done some stupid things, but she is a good person whose learned from those lessons and is a good person; I need to know that things will workout for the best.
