That doesn't sound so nice. I think Mars in Libra is all about mental seduction and stimulation before they actually do "it"... It's a I take the first step, then you take the next step etc. seduction process. Like a ritual. It sounded harsh . I know. That is my experience with Mars in Libra exes. I myself have Mars in Lib in 7th with mutual reception with Venus in Sco in 8th.
Many of my exes have had sexual escapades that were founded on falling inlove with someone because of good looks. But nothing concrete or serious came off of them. They were honest about that.
I recall when one(Mars in Lib/Ven in Lib conj)asked me why I do so much "digging" in my conversations? I dont have normal conversations about the weather or pleasantries. I tend to probe.
I told him that it was likely unconscious on my part(Ven on Sco was showing) .That perhaps through those probes,I wanted to know him beyond being my "boyfriend" or "lover" etc.
And to him I think that knowing the partner as "lover" was enough. The display of coupling and being in a relationship was enough. The "+ 1" date etc. Nothing too deep. Because i don't think he concerned himself with looking for more(Ven in Lib).🤷🏿♂️
But with my mutual reception, i function a little differently. Its the Sco part that wants me to penetrate the facade of superficial romance and go broader.
Yes, my Mars in Libra lured his Ven/Mars Libra mix with my flirting and gentle mental stimulation etc. Libra is into that. Symmetrical proportions? Yes. I work out and am in good shape. And I was wearing a pretty tight shirt and fitted jeans to outline my shape when we met. It worked.🤣
But once he was "ensnared", he found a lot more layers (Ven in Sco). But Luckily his Sun in Sco could keep up. We had a great time and parted amicably.
Throughout every relationship with Mars in Libra guys however, I noted that "appearance " of togetherness is everything to them. The "Instagram couple " goals and the whole two good looking guys together etc. In a seemingly "picture perfect" coupling , matters a lot. Ambiance matters a lot.
The airy nature of Mars seems to get aroused when things are kept light and free from anything heavy. Its never intense energy. Not unless there are mutual aspects with Sco or oppositions with Aries etc.
Mental seduction, suggestive language, back-forth play between them and the partner etc. Are all a part of the foreplay and create the excitement. I agree.
Its light and frothy. Its not "give me your heart and soul". Its flirty, its camp and "pretty".
Mars in Libra is also "nasty/ nice". Harsh comments shrouded underneath a veneer of niceness whilst flirting also appeal. A sort of "war in love" in a way that the back/forth banter with another builds the sexual tension.
So Falling inlove with someone they classically "hated" before or didn't get on with initially etc. Happens a lot. Its the classic rom-com movie "twist".
Do you know these couples who wear the same clothes or style themselves similarly? That's Mars in Libra for me in a nutshell. They have an eye for beauty and like symmetrical feautures, bodies, dimples and laugh lines.
Yes. This goes hand on hand with what i said about the "looking like a couple " thing on the outside. Libra also likes to project themselves on to the partner. Have their partner reflect back the qualities that they find attractive about themselves etc.
The "dressing alike" thing is also a way for them to "claim" you to the outside world in an indirect way. Because if you dress alike. Then you and the partner (for all intents and purposes ) are ONE🤷🏿♂️
Partners can be a bit aggressive. Things I've experienced myself when they're flirting with you are holding deep eye contact and light - seemingly accidental - touches! Sweet kisses, lots of foreplay, sensual touches, voyeurism, morning sex, 69, light bondage or spanking and role play can definitely be on the agenda for this placement.
I do hear the "aggressive partner" thing a lot with this placement.Initially yes, i would agree that Libra's more evasive style does attract the aggressive partner who wishes to "possess" them etc.
But Libra is cardinal. They are mostly ucomfortable in the position of being the one who is "conquered". So if they don't regain the leadership stronghold in some aspect within the relationship initiated "on" them, they will either become passive aggressive partners on one hand who continually resent being "pushed around".
Or (on the other hand) it will simply not last . And they will ghost or ignore that the relationship even exists(cheat compulsively).
Tau is more willing to be the one who is "captured " etc. Not the case with Libra. When they like you, Libra Mars WILL initiate and charm the socks off of you. Be quite brazen about it (if its not clear) and gently persuade you into a corner where denial of their interest in you ,is not likely to be ambivalent.
People who have to ask about a Libra Sun, Moon or Mars man on when he'll make a move? Or why he isn't making one? Etc.are missing the most obvious reason. He may not be all that into you(in that way). He is not ambivalent. He is just a gentleman (Ven rules them after all)🤷🏿♂️
Libra is cardinal. Cardinals initiate. Libra may like to do it with tons of charm. But they(like all the others) like to take charge of the ritual of courtship. Infact, this is the MOST exciting part of the coupling situation.
Its usually people who are conditioned by Aries-Mars nature as well as currently primitive display of masculinity who think that a man should "capture" his person of interest in a candid/brute/forceful way.
In the past, a man would court a lady or the partner he wants for a long time and preserve their "dignity" by not having it look like they were "easy" or gave in too quickly.
Perhaps Mars in Libra is still of that old way of thinking? But they don't want to "impose " themselves on you for a long time. They will do it briefly (to clarify how they feel about you) then back off so that its a mutual conversation of attraction. Not a 'i will hunt you down and mount you' situation.
But i get it, societal rules change. So Mars in Libra may not have that same air of animalistic magnetism and appeal that is considered 'sexy' or 'manly' by today's standards.
The hysteria around the concept of "effeminizing" men and boys has preoccupied society with wanting hyper-masculinity (especially in the States) by encouraging boys and men do define masculinity through muscles , mma sports and related contests of "strength" etc.
So men with Mars in Libra (and Mars in Tau)are often labelled "gay" for how they act. Not to say that there is anything wrong with being gay intrinsically. But the intent of heteronormative society is to suggest that they fall below what is "acceptable" as "manhood" etc.
But people change their minds all the time about what a "man" is and should be. They will change their minds again once this wave is over☝🏿
