Who here has been in a long term relationship that did not have Sun conjunct Venus in the Composite (Midpoint or Davison) chart? What was it like?Every long term relationship I've had has had this aspect, so I'm kind of theorizing. Of course, my parents don't have this aspect, but they don't have any other romantic aspects lol. IP: Logged |

Well I'm in a very long term relationship and our composite Venus isn't even aspected, nor is my unaspected Venus aspected through synastry with Mr 23. IP: Logged |

No composite Sun/Venus conjunctions in my two longest relationships.However... I have an Aquarius Descendant, of course ruled by Uranus. And contrary to Uranian principle, my two longest relationships shared one identical aspect in both Midpoint and Davison calculations: Sun Conjunct Uranus (almost 3 years with a Sagittarius, and over 2 years with a Capricorn). Uranus is typically trouble for longevity, but it is also the planet of the unexpected. So here I believe it is shown how Uranus can be unconventional even within itself. Uranus, an outer planet, moves slow enough that I feel I may extrapolate that this composite Sun Conjunct Uranus aspect has been a recurring theme in why I seem to attract many more Sag and Cap girls, obviously within a certain age range, than any other sign. SW, that's interesting, I can see what you are saying. My DC is ruled by Venus (Libra) and it still doesn't really explain my situation. IP: Logged |

23- Well, if it concerns my above hypothesis, Venus (your Desc ruler) moves so quickly that you wouldn't have the opportunity to see the concentrated and recurring theme that I would, in both sign and age groups. So, considering this, in order to draw further evidence for my little theory, I suppose I would need to confer with an individual with a Desc ruled by say, Neptune, in composite Sun conjunction. *Edit: Or perhaps I'm entirely wrong. I come up with a new astrology theory just about every day. IP: Logged |

Im one of the persons who in fact have sun cj venus in composite ( relationship going on about 2 years and 3 months),but my parents case is diferent:they are married for about more than 40 years - lots of ups and downs also: I dont know my Dadīs birth time but their composite has: -sun in the 8th and venus in the 9th -sun isnt aspected - only a skuare to uranus! - venus trines jup/asc and Pluto - saturn trines merc and sext. venus/jup - helps the other conflictuous aspects like: - uranus skuares sun/merc/kiron. - dsc is in Aqua but i dont know if it is important due to the lack of a birth time. i notice that neptune and pluto are very well aspected.
