*showing* not shoing ..grrrr. sorry typos..i type with babies on my lap  This is going to sounds sooo strange but oh well! (also do yourS elf a favor & ignore my spelling/gramar heehee)
the 1st time this happened to me was about 7 years ago, cameras were recently in cell phones & i took a pic of my girl friend she was standing inside a taning salon where she worked at the time i was taking a pic of her hair because i loved her part but could never manage to re create it on myself at home. I snap the pic & look at it & literally say out loud "WHAT THE FK is on your shoulder???!" she looked at it (small screen phone) & we both out of terror shock & confusion started laughing sooo hard. it was a demon/gargoyl!! It was about the size of a frog, with a HUUUUUGE open mouth. I went home & spent hours online searching gargoyles because that is what could best describe it. I never found any info about gargoyles showing up in pics. It had a huge open mouth. ok here is where the story get even weirder! a year or so later i took a pic of myself and as clear as can be...are you sititng down for this..im embarassed to even say it...showed up a LOBSTER!!!! im talking as clear as day to where i could show the pic to my freinds & say hey...what do you see right there? & they'd go 'a lobster..why is there a lobster in your bed room" so thats my story. since then its never happened again, cell phones have gotten better perhaps...& sadly in time i lost the phone which had these 2 images on it
any input from you all knowing KNOWflakes would be wonderfull. thanks in advance for listening!
ps)im a super busy mommy of 2 babies & i'd never take the time to make something up so odd lol im just saying!!

Lobster sticks to magnet hehe.I'm such an uncreative nerd.. Sounds like you may have had a lobster totem at the time if you still don't now. Some are tempoary and some are life long. Everyone gets a totem at birth regardless of their beliefs. It's a part of the system, just like you get guardian angels. One of my totems is a green dragon who coincidentally attacked me when I was already paranoid and having visions of shamanic dismemberment (it's a common totem test which I'd expect from a powerful totem). I also have a unicorn that showed up, but when I was a kid I thought a hybrid pegasus/unicorn would be the coolest thing if it could have wings sometimes.. and lo and behold it could. Anyway. I'll try to sound saner. Sometimes the atheist comes out of me and I deny all my experiences dealing with shamanism, or kundalini overloads my adrenal system and I get paranoid given the many darker experiences I've also had. My totems are consequently very angry with me, but being a shaman would be so high maintenance and I still don't really want to be one. I'm a sag and we're free spirited. Shamanic totemic appeasement and spirit work is high maintenance, and I don't have a bad ass spirit telling me it will kill me if I don't shamanize. I was only told I had a choice  . Besides, my clairaudient friend told me I was most likely to go through the full initiation in winter and I get the feeling from another vision that will likely be two years from now, so there's no rush and I get attacked anyway when I try to shamanically journey. Look into the archetype of the gargoyle to illuminate what a gargoyle totem could do (it's probably your girlfriend's totem). I am getting clairvoyantly that that is her totem. Also don't worry about appeasing it, shamanism isn't your career, but do give it something if you ask for something it can help you with. Etiquette and gratitude is important with totems. As far as the picture thing.. cool. I wish it happened to me. A clairvoyant camera phone would be awesome! I hear sometimes people can have an effect on such things.. IP: Logged |

A disclaimer for above.. Nothing about shamanism is sane. Energy is everything and you can talk to all energy. Shaman talk to chairs. When water is running in the house I hear pre-clairaudient ringing in my ear. If you think it's crazy I agree!IP: Logged |

Thank you so much for the informative reply! I love the totem idea, & had no idea lobster was a (some what) common totem. I quit eating lobster after that cuz i figured maybe a lobster i ate was haunting me

Lol. There are tribal ceremonies centered around eating power totems to gain their power for the good of the tribe. They then cry and mourn it's loss and the fact that they had to ritually sacrifice it, and finally dance a dance to take on it's spirit/power. Crazy things. I'm sure the lobster is pleased that you stopped eating it.  There is an add reply button at the bottom too, but that can work as well. IP: Logged |
