Hate is a pretty strong word but otherwise... Virgo Venus PS Disliking v-day does not imply "not romantic" for anyone wondering. IP: Logged |

Nah, Venus in Taurus and Pluto in Scorpio would be opposite. It is somewhat difficult to manage... yes. Life is definitely hellbent on teaching me that one. IP: Logged |

Maybe Scorpio (especially Venus and/or moon conjunct pluto), they'd be inclined to not like the superficiality of it. Even when they accept it they may hate how they scrutinize every gift or token (or lack thereof) for some hidden meaning that is very important. All in all, not worth the stress either. But I don't see Scorpios yelling about it. They're more likely to steal your chocolates (yum) and maybe even your partner (no respect and no intentions to keep, it's just for a laugh) as well as spit in your wine while also starting a rumor intended to get back to you so that someone else takes the blame. And Aquarius...the suns might not like having a birthday so close (maybe even on the same day) and it doesn't seem like something that would appeal to them... Gemini may take it personally that they're supposed to tailor themselves to the day rather than the other way around while Sag just doesn't see the point of it. That said I know a Sag sun, Gemini ASC, and Venus Mars & Scorpio who wants the day recognized...I blame her Cancer moon. IP: Logged |

The person who said that my neighbor is a Gemini Sun, I think Sco Asc or Sag Asc, (Sag Moon) and Venus in Gemini Mars in Pisc. quote: Originally posted by PixieJane: Maybe Scorpio (especially Venus and/or moon conjunct pluto), they'd be inclined to not like the superficiality of it. Exactly. And I have an Aries Venus (although a Virgo Moon). Since I'm married, and when I was in other relationships, I've never thought much of Valentine's Day after I graduated from high school...I might think that it has to do with Uranus making a trine and sextile to my Sun and Moon, respectively. I also have Venus opposite Pluto in my natal. Otherwise, My Aquarius Mercury conjunct my Dsc/POF is basically like "Okay, love is a personal and unique thing, and no one is going to tell me how and when I am 'supposed' to express how I feel. Eff off with your preconceived concepts of how I should go about my relationships on some random day of the year." IP: Logged |

My husband is the same way, and he has Uranus sextile his Leo Sun/Vertex/Venus, and square his Cap Moon. I'm almost wondering if Leo influenced peeps are sometimes even more inclined than most to say "You're NOT going to tell ME how to celebrate love. That's not the way things work around here." Maybe only with the Uranus/Earth signs prominent...

I don't "hate" it, but rather dislike the fact the meaning of Valentine's day has become so misconstrued and commercialized. People are conditioned to believe that it is a couple's holiday where you have to prove your love through material things, which is far from the point. It makes a competition where you feel socially obligated to do something for your loved ones. You shouldn't need one day where you go over the top with gifts and expressions to show those you care about how much you love them. Love is deeper than that, and should be expressed every day. It is more meaningful to share your love with gratitude and appreciation each day irrespective of a price tag. I hate feeling obligated to do something too, just because it is 'expected' by societal norms -Uranus and Saturn heavy person IP: Logged |

Probably venus in scorpio, bcus the reason is superficial and also bcvus everyone publicises their val day dates and gifts. Scorpio is too secretive to like that stuff probIP: Logged |

I have venus(gemini) oppose Uranus(Sag)Cannot stand cliches and routines. Valentines day is both a cliche and a routine to me. I've never cared for it, and do not participate in it. Also have other uranus/11th house placements. IP: Logged |

lol, me too. I don't hate holidays and celebrations, but I just don't really care. Christmas, thanksgiving, new years, etc are just like any other day. I don't treat them as "special" days.
