Isn’t it nice to know that that great looking, cool dude could really be a homicidal maniac. JUST KIDDING, but one can see anger issues in the chart.1.Unaspected Mars This bad boy is simmering anger. If the Mars is in a Fixed(Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio) or Cardinal sign(Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn), it is, likely, more intense than if it is in a Mutable Sign(Gemini, Virgo, Pisces). However, any which way, don’t step on his toes. 2. Pluto square the Moon Pluto is primal passions. Pluto likes to run free not be confined to the “prison” of the square. I call the square a “prison” because it is a “locked in” aspect, in my opinion. Others may disagree. I think of the square as a locked and bolted door. One may climb in through the window, but the door is NOT budging. Hence, in the case of Pluto square the Moon, the primal passions of Pluto and the gentle, soulful emotions of the Moon are in veritable lock. Who will win? No one. That is the point. The native may simmer until a waitress brings him cold coffee and then, throw it at her. 3. Pluto square the Sun This native may have a very sensitive ego. It may not appear to be the case. In fact, this native may appear as strong as horseradish, but strength that is not controlled is not really strength. Think of Niagra Falls. Think of Niagra Falls jumping her borders into the adjoining town— not pretty. This native may have achieved a powerful position, such as a CEO. However, be careful of his ego, lest you find yourself in Niagra Falls, outside of the borders. 4. Moon Conjunct Mars I know someone with this aspect. He has, always, been nice to me, but do you think I will chance it? NO. One can feel the simmering anger. It provides a nice, invisible fence, such as I used to have for my dog. 5. Uranus Conjunct Mars This dude may get engraged for no reason. His sandwich may be wrong. He may have wanted roasted chicken and you made broiled.Know what sets him off and avoid it. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Sun square Pluto is the control-freak, control-freaks don't really let anger erupt like a volcano...unless they lose control. I think it would be related more to pure domination, the will to ruthlessly step on anyone who comes in the path in a chill, cold manner rather than just go off like a volcano.Agree with Mars/Uranus to some extent, my crush has the opposition, my friend once asked her if she gets struck by lightning from time to time, he does not know anything about astrology but he was soo right. I have moon/mars conjunction with a 1 degree orb. When I was a teen, I had many quarrels with my mom, but now we have the honey relationship without the sting. I also don't get angry easily, I'm a very peaceful person, and the only Taurean influence I have is Chiron (I also got 2nd house SN).IP: Logged |

You forgot Mars in 12th house conjunct ASC. Simmers for a long time beneath the surface, but every once in a while explodes like a pressure cooker, and you don´t want to be around if this happens. IP: Logged |

Yes. I think the same. I have sun square pluto wide aspect, and thankfully it is 8°xx so the energy is less intense than my close friend who has closer aspect (but I think his scorp moon may contribute the energy but for sure he is obviously a control freak to anyone & anything than me who's only a control freak to my inner demons lol). My opinion is, if you ever saw the sun square pluto people lose their anger or like a volcanic anger? well, I don't think it comes from this aspect alone. As I have one, the energy of this aspect tend to chill or gives strong cold manner if someone crosses the path. If I don't have one, my Aries moon might be an uncontrollable fire or some would say in bad tempers, so yeah, thanks to Sun square pluto who imprison all the demons inside, it resists the volcanic. LOL. IP: Logged |

+ everything volcanic is actually related to Pluto and other underworld structures (such as the 12th house) (simmering under the surface, erupting for a rather long time - Pluto). Mars is the planet of "anger" so Mars/Pluto is usually the first aspect to consider for such a theme imo (any Mars/Pluto aspect). Looking at Hephaistos and Vulcan could also be interesting. Mars/Pluto on the other hand gives immense power for self-control and "targeted" anger (power on oneself/the other) although inside a huge storm is going on at all times. Similar energy with different expression happens with Sun and Moon to Pluto (in regards to power games). Also, fire Moons and Marses have the potential for explosive anger, and any fire personal planet, for that matter. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... Leeloo,I agree. Good call about Vulcanus btw. Well my Mars is in Sag - I tend to forget about my anger quickly. I can´t really keep up being angry for long. Actually another mutable Mars recently mused on how he is really annoyed that he cannot maintain being angry for long (flares up and down quickly). IP: Logged |

You're right, Ceri, it seems Pluto is the one bringing sustained anger. Many Plutonians hold anger and grudges for a long time, sometimes forever hehehe or there is some sort of permanent quality to it. I am Mars/Pluto/Mercury stellium myself, and I can say once the volcano erupts, I know it takes a long time and any attempt to put it down is like trying to put out a volcano with extinguishers. I have learned to redirect it towards creative pursuits or physical activity (being Mars for me) if I can't use it on the "source" although I do prefer to use the energy on the source. I just checked my Hephaistos (2212) and the Uranian Vulkanus, they are both conjunct in Cancer 6th, 5.16 and 6.16 in exact sq with my Pluto, 6.04, the mdp of my Pluto stellium in Libra. Cancer/6th might show anger release needs to take place otherwise psychosomatic manifestations are likely. I remember I held my anger some years ago, repressed it and indeed I had a sudden unexplained vertigo for weeks, no doctor knew what it was about. So there you go, all of you, especially Plutonians, let it out babes! EDIT: 12th house Mars is also prone to psychosomatic transgressions of repressed anger. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... LeeLoo's Esotericorner IP: Logged |

Yes, true that. Repressed anger often is psychosomatic for me, including iron deficiency, it is so descriptive it is not even funny anymore. lol Healthy anger however is a pretty good source of energy and doing something constructive.
PErsonally I don`t really hold onto my anger long, not the fiery kind at least, but I do draw my conclusions and consequences. And that`s that. really. Mars-Neptune-NN on ASC sextile Pluto on MC
Vulkanus is on 6°50 Cancer in my chart, and since the orbs have to be really small with the uranians I would not really count the square to PLuto on 9 Libra as very meaningful, Vulkanus however IS opposite Venus on 6°07 Cap (which is interesting, considering they were-unhappily- married).
But apart from the myth, Vulkanus-Venus sounds rather intense, too. Putting Pluto into the whole, oh well, but I am disgressing, this is not so much about anger I guess. Hephaistos is on 28 Gemini in my 7th house

Ok- General question---How would you compare Pluto in the various Pluto/Sun aspects--conjunction, trine, opposition and square. If you could give examples or make illustrative scenarios, that would be great for learning! Then, we can look at the other Pluto squares and see who they function. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Why spotlight this one? The OP is about five aspects. IP: Logged |
