I have come to a conclusion and wonder if it is shared by others or if this is info I just never was aware of .. For instance I have 3 energies in my 3rd house which is by the nature of the chart rules by Gemini. I was thinking is it possible we are a lot like a sign in which we borrow space from? I come across as a Gemini to some and looking back I do think there are some markers I've carried in past situations. Regarding love, business etc. I'm a triple aqua though. In my desc gem is actually my desc so maybe I am a lot like my shadow side? In the end my question is actually "Do we behave like the house our Sun is in"? My Venus and moon are there too. So for me in love, I believe I've often called me across like a gem. IP: Logged |

I am very Uranian/Aqua, yes. 11H Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn in 11H and all of them aspect Uranus 3H. My Sun is also in the Aqua duad/dwad. One thing I've noticed however is that Aquas are much more fixed whereas I am more "Uranus" in nature. IP: Logged |

@Charlie. Thank you! Do except for the fixed nature, do you think you are like an aqua? Are you rebellious or shocking towards others ir yourself? Interesting as I feel pretty mutable though my asc is as such, I've been told so much as so by people. Yet I do come across as stubborn too. I think my Capricorn Mercury could be at play there too. My Sun between 1st and 12th so it’s hard to say. Most of energies would be in 11th, 1st or 12th. I don’t think I come across as Aries. I struggle to be present and might come across as more distant. It would be Aqua or Pisces.

@Librapurr, thank you! I wonder if you get dreamy? The decan could better define your Sun too.. I might guess pisces is strong for you. Where's your Neptune? As well as once you mentioned Aqua, the n. Uranus? IP: Logged |

I think the Sun is linked to conscious awareness/epiphany & self actualization or vitality. When you connect with the energy of your Sun sign element, you feel "more" or expanded. I think of "like-mindedness" as a reflection of this-especially when it comes to compatibility. Fire is not "too much" for fire. But can essentially feel "off" for water & earth. The latter can often give the fire energy the energetic feedback to "tone it down " So sometimes it can happen that when you have been in the company of those who don't affirm who you are (Sun), you kind of inhibit that solar glow. Or it is not as bright. As you are trying not to "offend" through your blaze. Notice how often times when we meet someone that we are head over heels inlove with, we say "I feel like I can be myself around them" etc. And this is what Sun sign vibrational levels(in love) can do. You can feel "more" of yourself. And "more" authentic. We are more our Sun signs when in "love" with something OR someone. Because love is the heart centre I.e the Leo/5th house place. So when we talk about Sun compatibility, we do not actually strictly mean sign compatibility. But rather how the two energies are meeting up with each other on a "heart to heart" level(Sun/Leo/5th house affiliated). The Sun is joyful in the 9th(Hellenistic astrology) as when we have expanded, we want all the corners of the world to know that we are "in" love I.e We essentially are love. That is the glorious message of life. And that is where the song "this little light of mine. I'm gonna let it shine.." borrows from. I tell my friends all the time that if the love that you have found doesn't cause you to break away from fear, shame or guilt. Doesn't cause you to want to shout it out on the mountain tops of how crazy you are about the other. You are not "in " LOVE. Sun sign vibrational energy is very overwhelming and extremely joyful in its expression.

While I digest what Aries23 wrote...I do actually resonate with what you said MoonMystic. I am a Cancer Sun/Jupiter in the 8th house, and I definitely feel more like a Scorpio Cancer. You see Cancer in my characteristics, but I feel like Scorpio on the inside. I am a 3rd decan Cancer Sun by the way, so I act like a Pisces too. I guess I'm just all the water energies, aren't I? I think that the house our Sun is in, represents an important theme in our life. And it becomes more prominent when other placements support this. I have my Taurus Sun, Jupiter, chart ruler Venus, south node and Gemini Mercury in the 8th house. In addition Pluto is conjunct my Ascendant, my north node is in Scorpio and my Venus is parallel Pluto. It’s a strong theme in my chart but I don’t feel more Scorpio than Taurus. I actually relate a lot to Taurus as the most dominant sign in my personality but I have had a lot of Scorpio themes play out in my life. I had to let go of a lot of people and securities, to rebuild my life and make new connections. I’ve read somewhere that with a strong 8th house theme it often feels like your life is defined by different chapters. I can definitely relate to that.IP: Logged |

I tend to go against the masses, yes, and I hate (!) organized thinking ie everyone wears black in the big city. Screw that! I’m wearing a skirt with flowers and my summer perfume in the middle of winter. I’m not shocking per se but I tend to get thoughts or epiphanies from seemingly nowhere and they seem to be true. I can also speak about very abstract subjects and taboo subjects as if it’s just normal potatoes and steak for dinner and it makes some uncomfortable when that boat is rocked.. IP: Logged |

I have also noticed this. It’s more of a theme than how a person acts. I know someone with a stellium of Sun, Moon and Mercury in the 8th and i wouldn’t say she is ‘’Scorpionic’’ in her behavior but her life has certainly been. Another one i used to know had Moon in the 8th with Sun square Pluto the same with her. I also have a friend who has a 1st house Pluto conjunct Scorpio Ascendant with an 8th house mars. I would say with each of them It’s more the things they have to deal with in their lives rather than how they are as people

I agree with the theme part of what others have said. I have Taurus sun and venus in the 12th and 12th house themes have always been a part of my life but, almost no one can ever guess my sun sign. Possibly because it's so well hidden but I can resonate with some of the qualities of taurus. I come across to most as scorpio actually because of my scorpio stellium, they probably shine more for people who don't know me privately. IP: Logged |

Somebody said I live in couple dimensions at the same time. Sometimes it feels scarily truthful for me. Neptune sq. my Sun and AC ruler. So that’s might be the reason. Aqua IC. IP: Logged |
