i am considering travelling to change the house position of my SR, besides a good excuse to travel/escape! (pisces sun)... but i am worried about messing w/fate. has anyone else tried to out-run their SR? ...or is it fated that I should attempt to change it? "Ohhh, what's really going to bake your noodle later on is, would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything?..."there is a story of two astrologers who wanted their son to have an easy life, so they timed his delivery for a grand-trine etc., and aspects which would give him a carefree life. So the child was born with some physical or mental handicap, & had to have assisted care all of his life. Now, these things happen, whatever will be will be & we adjust... but it makes me hesitate about trying to change fortunes future... IP: Logged |

Just be where u are, do what u feel like doing, and don't worry about changing your 'fate' for a year because I feel like it's not going to do anything.I for one believe in astrology but I don't really believe in manipulating my life with it. Like how people choose wedding charts and what not. And the same goes for my kid, I'm going to have him when and where I have him. IP: Logged |

If it bothers you why not try and change your solar chart? I see nothing wrong with it, just be careful because 2 weeks before your bday and 1 week after are considered potentially stressful (it is not always so though)

NickiG,It doesn't help to change location for SR. I have tried to do that (only on the paper) and everywhere was worse than here, where I am. There was answer from one Astrologer to the client about changing the place for SR: when you come back to home, all will be the same again, as if you have spent birthday at home. i have never tried to manipulate SR before. i love the book by mary fortier shea, in raymond merriman's book he recommends changing location to avoid several SR's, including some 12th house planets and 8th house sun. But this isn't why i was considering it, i have mars/merc/neptune and sun in 8th house and my kids' SR has pluto in the 4th. moon in 12 and a grand square, which I DO NOT like... I'm going thru a death/rebirth and they may have to move???...not a good sign...my SR takes place during the kids' winter break next February, so it wouldn't be unusual for us to be travelling anyway...def something to consider.
