I thought about this question for a few hours. I am NOT good at expressing thoughts in a scientific way, cause I think so very abstractly.

But, there is an energy field all around you, and all around everyone else too.

When you think about a person, even far away, they can pick up your thoughts from the emotions (be they neg or pos) behind that energy.
So, if you believe that, then it's logical to think that in visual distance of another, that emotional fueled energy would be even more forceful since they are close by, no?

And it doesn't even have to be anyone you know, and the emotions don't even have to be toward you, as everyone has probably experienced a time say, in a doctors office, airport, classroom, when one persons emotional issues have changed the conditions in the room so much, that everyone feels uncomfortable.

Same thing in reverse. When someone around you is bubbling over with loving, joyous feelings, like say they have a baby in their arms or something, those feelings seem to spill onto the surrounding people as well.

So, in essense it is all about energy. If you are sensitive in the first place, then I would imagine that a persons energies would be felt by you whether you can see them or not.
Same way for me.
I can sense a mean dog behind me, or around me.
When I was bartending, certain people could come in and the hair on my arms would raise up. I knew I was in for trouble. This happened maybe 2 dozen times in 20 plus years. But, I had NO CONCRETE REASON to feel this way, as they came in, just like anyone else, walking through the door. Some even smiling. It's the energy, you cannot hide that to some people, that's my opinion anyways.

yeah that's a great way to describe it. it's just a strange sensation, isn't it? and a weird thing to "feel" someone looking at you when saying something like that technically doesn't make sense.

i definitely pick up on vibes or the way people feel. for the last several weeks i've felt uneasy at work. just bad vibes from people i feel are masking their bad vibes. i don't like it when people try to hide the fact that something terrible is going to happen while trying to pretend everything is okay. because of that i've in turn become irritated and annoyed and frustrated feeling. i sense dire and doom or just something not good....but i can't prove it.

but i think that is similar to being able to feel someone just looking at you. unless that means feeling someone looking at you because as they're looking at you they're projecting some sort of emotion or vibes at you....
