Hey!!

New to this board and fairly new to astrology in general. Here to test my knowledge and interpretations I've gotten into composites lately and wanted to run some aspect patterns by whoever would care to take a look. The subjects of this chart are myself and an individual I've found to be very psychologically impactful. So far this has been to positive effect: helping me to reconsider my life/relationship priorities, compelling me to make progress in areas where I was stagnating, shining a light on negative patterns I needed to address, etc. I would not describe this encouragement as resulting from an explicit conversation dynamic (although that has occasionally been true); rather, their proximity to me seems to trigger certain kinds of reflection/action. The chart is below. For reference, I'm using Koch houses per an interview with Robert Hand I listened through.

Please let me know if you have any difficulty with these images/links! I'm a little fuzzy on the mechanics. If they aren't appearing in-post here are the links without the image tags.

The first things I noticed were the two minor talent triangles connecting the 8th, 9th, and 12th houses. It seems to me that the trines from the 8th house to 12H Uranus would promote a sort of interior/psychological upheaval that could be applied to changes in belief, public life, and/or vocation by way of the sextile with Pluto. Maybe, because of the 12th house influence, this process would manifest in an unusual way or otherwise be less than visible. That said, I'm not sure easy aspects between these houses would be desirable at all given some interpretations of the 8th and 12th houses.

I'm also curious about the yod and other, similar aspect pattern (I've seen it referred to as an Iron Yod or Thor's Hammer) pointing to the 7th house. For whatever reason Astro Seek doesn't list the yod aspects to Mars so, as per another calculator, here they are:

Mars Inconjunct Jupiter (1°26')
Mars Inconjunct Neptune (2°17')

Maybe these would produce an impulse to cooperation or collaboration? My read has been that skillful navigation of these patterns would result in more positive manifestations of the Moon in Virgo (concern, care, diligence, etc.) and Mars in Leo (warmth, creativity, mutual self-regard), whereas failure to do the same might cause argument or excessive mutual criticism. Their presence certainly seems to foreground Leo and Virgo-esque themes in my life, causing me to desire more creative outlets and better organization. Also, if it's of any note, it looks like the South Node is roughly opposite the Mars yod apex and Juno (not pictured; in 1st house and Pisces at 11°06') roughly opposite the Moon yod apex. I know some yod interpretations consider placements like these as a sort of fourth point by which to navigate the base aspect. I will also point out that many of my key interactions with this person have taken place while the Moon was passing through Leo or Virgo and, I assume, aspecting the apex planets.

Anyway, appreciate any help/practice I can get!!

As an aside:
This individual was introduced to me by a friend with whom I have a strangely similar composite. But in my chart with this friend the 8th, 9th, and 12th houses are connected by a T-square as opposed to more harmonious aspects. Also, there's an inversion in the 7th house with the North Node and Venus (replacing Mars) in Virgo and the Moon conjunct the Descendent in Leo.

Thanks Randall!

In the meantime, I've also been looking into my synastry with this person. Definitely came across some alternative explanations for what I'd been attributing to the composite. For one, their Jupiter is conjunct my IC and their Pluto conjunct my Midheaven. Both of these are close aspects at less than a degree, and the Jupiter-IC in particular is dead on. This makes a ton of sense given that, since being introduced to them, I've been thinking far more seriously about how/where I want to live and work. Many of the composite chart's themes wind up repeated in the synastry, too, because our natal charts (including ascendants/houses) are so close; we have significant 8th house overlays, for instance.

Unrelated to that, I also noticed some interesting stuff going on with our vertices. To the best of my knowledge, we each have Vertex in Virgo within a few degrees of each other (maybe 3 or 4 if memory serves, so not a close conjunction in the way you'd probably be looking for in that case). However, their Vertex is conjunct my Venus at around 1 degree. Additionally, my Vertex is near-exactly conjunct the composite Moon. Based on what I've read about the Vertex, I could definitely see those aspects producing a "right place at the right time" energy in our interactions.
