yes. Usually doesn't turn out well because it means the SN is conjunct the other person's ascendant.

the south node is a draining energy so it tends to block the expression of the ascendant person over time.

Idk how bad of an aspect it is. All I know is that for some reason it's not common to find longterm relationships where one person's SN is conjunct the other's ascendant. The other way around however (NN conjunct asc) is common.

I thought NN conjunct Dsc is a good aspect to have? That would make SN conjunct the Asc.

Hiraku, hi I'd be interested to know if you are aware of any longterm couples that have SN con ASC. I don't know of any, and every time I've seen the subject broached on this board the only people who replied were those that knew of a relationship with this aspect where it did not last long. It would be nice to see another perspective.

Unfortunately for my natal chart anyone who's saturn trines my planets also has SN on my asc. I've never been able to hold onto those relationship despite saturn's bindingness.

I have this with my bf (me being the ascendant) and we've been together for more than 4 years. I would say it's an indicator of familiarity. He told me I feel/look familiar when he first saw me and we felt comfortable with each other straight away

Sounds like it could be a part of a soul mate connection.

the notion of South Node person feeling blockages when in contact with someone's planet might be true. I have a cluster around my South Node, on my own DSC, and I cringe when someone else's planet falls on it. I don't like it, I never been in a relationship with someone who puts their personal on my south node cluster, it feels too familiar and gives the feeling of "been there done that, why go again".

A conjunction to my North Node feels extremely exciting to me, however. But a bit scary and too unpredictable for my liking. But very very attractive energy, to my North Node.

But things get a bit more complicated when an axis is involved, such as the asc/dsc axis. Because now both points are being conjuncted.

yes, Bismark
my cluster involving my Nodes laying across my ASC/DSC axis is very sensitive. I rarely let other people's planets close to it, and god forbit - square it.

My Nodes conjunct my Asc/Dsc axis. My ex has his Sun on my Dsc conjunct my NN.

That relationship was short-lived and horrible.

When I finally ended it, it felt like I woke up from a nightmare.

I wish I knew everyone's ToBs to better answer this question.

Anyway, I saw a chart on another forum... they have NN conjunct Asc DW and the r/s only lasted 4mths.

I was trying to find an answer re an opposition between north n. & asc. I don't think this is finding the other unappealing, it might npbe not comfortable in the other's energy?
Anyone?

.

Same guy's prog chart has his Queens now cnj my natal north node.

I had NN conj ASC and it lasted 2 months (we reconnected 7 years later and he's now married, I've completely moved on but he regrets his marriage because he still thinks of me). His Venus was also on my SN.

I know a NN Conj DSC and they were in a push pull phase for 6 months (they were coworkers ans then he found a job in another country). But it was the first time I saw the DSC so obsessed and crying over a guy. What never started ended quite sour. Node treated her like she didn't exist at the end.

I think node person walks away much easier.
