Exactly. When you have significant axis overlays -- such as VX/AVX -- this creates the following. The VERTEX of one conjuncts the other's ANTIVERTEX: which overlays the point of fate and the point of destiny. The VERTEX is a point of being out of control. The ANTIVERTEX of having control. Since these are an axis, they must be activated by a point or be involved in a configuration. Transits can be that spark to the fuse, but you really want to see what points are making aspects to the axes. They're going to be involved in how these elements of fate and destiny can play out. im not following can you please explain what u mean? im only a beginner in astrology looked up what vertexes are and one article said its karmic and fated connections? what does being in axis mean? does vertex stand for 'verte' on chart? if so, mine would be in aries , 9th house and his , libra , 6th house? It's an Axis, that means directly across you have the other end of the line.So your Vertex is on the other's Anti-Vertex and vice-versa. Same as the Nodes, if you have one, it's a given the other is straight across. They are an Axis. And right now the Nodes are Transiting that area, so Eclipses are occurring twice a year to set the points off. Difficult to gauge Degree with these charts, but it looks like it's Square the Natal Nodes of one. IP: Logged |

I do charts at home, so I can't speak for the ones you guys do.Vertex is very dependent on time and place, it changes all the time. I sit and watch it move (Astro*Clock) on a daily basis to get a feel for its effect. So, if there is any doubt about birth information, you disregard that. That's probably why Indigo asked first, cause it's difficult at best to figure a chart, much less to go to all that trouble only to find that it's incorrect. *pant pant* Really, you just want to get it right.
