As a general illustration... let's consider the question of orbs in the context of harmonic aspects :-The maximum allowable orb for (say) a square is 3 degrees. So, two planets that are 87degrees or 93degrees apart in the natal will be in conjunction in ONLY the 4th Harmonic Chart. And two planets that are exactly 90degrees apart in the natal chart will be in conjunction in Harmonic Charts 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc.... However, few people are likely to "feel" the influence of Harmonic Aspects above the level of 60 - so an exact square in the natal chart will influence 4 behavioural traits in the chart owner, while a 3-degree-orb square in his/her natal chart will influence only the first of those 4 behavioural traits.

What would be felt more / what is considered stronger in the composite chart..a trine with a 3.0 degree orb
OR
an exact sextile at 0.0?
The Trine would appear as a conjunction in only the 3rd Harmonic Chart, whilst the sextile would appear as a conjunction in Harmonic Charts 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54 and 60 ... So, the sextile will be the stronger influence upon the chart owner - creating 10 habitual behavioural traits, whilst the trine will create only 1.
However ... the sextile indicates a potential talent (so requires effort to develop), whilst trines indicate already-developed talents (that come naturally, so need no effort to develop). ... Thus, others will always see the trine behaviour/talent of the chart owner - but might not see the sextile behaviour/talent unless the chart owner is actively striving to develop it. ... And the chart owner himself/herself might not be aware of his/her talent(s) at all.
