Milkweed! The Monarch butterfly will only lay eggs on Milkweed. Less Milkweed equals less butterflies. Don't be alarmed when they eat all of the leaves and flowers. It won't hurt the plant. The leaves and flowers grow back.IP: Logged |

Do you see all types? Are Monarchs just one color pattern --the yellow etc o do they have different colors? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I think Monarchs are a species. I see all different colors, even those with no color.IP: Logged |

You guys like butterflies? try this website, butterfly nectar plants i totally recommend the Pincushion flower. i had one planted in a pot on a balcony in a high rise building, some time ago..... in a highly polluted city....and one hot summer i found a monarch (the orange and black with white spots one) just sitting on it...when there were no trees or plants anywhere nearby. That was a refreshing scene for that place! IP: Logged |
