Hi Aen, I read that having Pluto conjunct your Ascendent creates a very intense and powerful person. Sometimes people can really like you or hate you, but you can bring out a major intensity in people. I have the same thing going on with my Pluto and Asc. in Virgo. Seems like you and I have a lot in common. My Uranus is sextile to my Sun and Venus yet opposite my moon. Do you find that you are very analytical in the sense that you like to take everything in and even notice things that others often miss? There are times when I can look right at a person or situation and almost "know" what they are hiding or what it's all about. The problem I have is when emotions come into play. Just like Jakie said with her loyalties to friends, I do the same. It is as if my Saggi Sun, Venus and Aries moon wants to be so accepting a friendly and tells my more intuitive and analytical Pluto / Asc, to go take a hike.
Jakie,
I understand what you are saying. I think that by acknowledging the differences in yourself you can accept the challenge to integrate them into a whole being. I have found that meditation and astrology have really helped me understand the conflicts and strengths within myself. Since I started reading and posting on this board I have learned so much and it has helped me through some tough times. ------------------ "Loyalty to petrified opinion never yet broke a chain or freed a human soul in this world--and never will." Pidaua Direct on the target. Astrology has been for me a great help, I know myself better and I started to show me better. For me it has also been a great help to talk about myself in this board. Before, I only did that with my girlfriend, today I expose my life for people that I don't know and that has done very well to me. I am not an analytical person, yet I am very intuitive. A lot of times I feel that there is something wrong with a person that I've met, but I 'pretend' that everything it's fine... It is just a matter of time for a new deception... I have the Sun[Leo], Pluto[Virgo], Uranus[Virgo] and Mercury[Virgo] in the 8th house, therefore I should follow more often my intuition... It's amazing for me to see such different people, living in opposite continents, with cultures so diversified, and these people have the same problems, the same doubt and the same questions... Boy oh Boy! Pidaua, conjunctions in natal charts go up to 10 dgr. orb don't they? Because I sure am this intense figure. I can understand it would be so hard to live with me or work with me. It's like BOOM! I have Pluto 9 degr. away from my Ascendant. And gééz, this: "Do you find that you are very analytical in the sense that you like to take everything in and even notice things that others often miss? There are times when I can look right at a person or situation and almost "know" what they are hiding or what it's all about."YEP! IP: Logged |

Hi Mercy, It can be hard for others to live with those of us that have conjunction like that if we don't pay attention to what it tells us. It explains so many of the power struggles I had with others (my Pluto is 3 degrees from my Asc, almost right on top). I had some people actually looked shocked when I would look them right in the eyes and I could make them extremely uncomfortable (it is said that it gives the person a very penetrating gaze). The problem can stem from others fearing that you want to control them so they fight back. You sound like a very open minded person from what I have read, but the conjunction is still hard to get a handle on at times. Wow Jakie, you sure have a full 8th house. My only planet in the 8th is my Saturn in Taurus (retro). IP: Logged |

hi stella.as you know, i have uranus in the first house (7 degress in scorpio) and i think this is such a double-edged sword... isn't uranus exalted in scorpio? i feel so tense all the time. it forms a square with saturn (in leo in the 10th house) - frustation is my middle name. it would seem it has a powerful effect on my rising sign (libra). i'm so passive and peaceable, what with my sun in cancer and moon in pisces in the 5th) the urge to hide away and then suddenly be centre of attention is very hard to deal with. still, you learn to live with it...

Yes, I am a force to be dealt with..LOL... Ethnicity aside (I am American Indian, Spanish and German), I am not sure how Pluto influences my look. The Virgo Asc does make me look almost 10 years younger.
I have olive skin with brown eyes that have a touch of amber (kind of like burnt sienna). It sometimes trips people out when the sun hits them because they have a reddish color to them. (not freaky though). I have high check bones, a strong jaw with an oval face and a big smile with full lips. My hair is down to the small of my back and is full, but somewhat layered (so trendy) and is dark brown with light brown highlights. I am 5' 9" and weigh about 135lbs and I have long legs (typical sag...slightly clumsy even if graceful). I am a "foo foo girl" in that I like to do my hair, wear makeup and I love clothes, unless they constrict me. My bathroom is full of candles, bubble bath and scented lotions. LOL...See...total foo foo My friends tease me and say I look like pocohontas from the Disney cartoon. My mother says I look like Sandra Bullock, but my ex said that I look like the chick married to Michael Douglas. I think I look just like ME!!!! Honestly, I have been blessed to have inherited the genes from two great looking parents. I had no choice in the matter. My problem areas.... Lots.. I have a high metabolism, but typical of us Saggi's if I start to gain weight, it will show up in my hips and thighs first. Oh and when I am upset or nervous I cannot eat a thing or it makes me sick (Must be the Virgo in me) Pidaua IP: Logged |

Hmm, I'm a little surprised that you're not an analytical person with Mercury in Virgo. How's your Mercury aspected? Do you have any planets in your 3rd House?
