I have been through the divorce 'stuff' and it got to the point where when I would see an envelope from the divorce lawyer I would delay opening it as I just did not want to think about it. Not fun and I wish you tons of strength and hope it all goes well FOR YOU. Stella Polaris. He does have Virgo moon and he has Libra Mars. The 9th house cusp goes from Virgo right into a lot of Libra. I have been told that if this second marriage ever actually happens then it will be an equal partnership and very happy. I have learned Patience and hope one day that I will see this come into my life in more than just dreams.Am I looking at this correctly? Poops, you and I are really too funny and we know it. I do not have any trouble saying hey, wait a sec, I have the cusps and their houses figured out so what are the rulers and now I have got a chart showing the rulers but what do they really mean? If I have my 7th starting in Gem is it ruled by MErc? and then going into Cancer does the moon get into it too? Aphrodite, can we figure out the first question re the 7th and 9th and get feedback from more and THEN work on Biss' concept of the amount of aspects to your sun. Just going with the flow, and trusting the process. May be they integrate, may be there was something that needed to be said before the answer for the previous could be solved. If you feel the need to control the order in order to help yourself understand things better, great. So you're right, Mercur is ruling your 7th house. And planets in the 7th house, whether in Gemini or Cancer will affect this area of your life, too. IP: Logged

Yes, it is totally in the trying to understand all of this. I do have the cusps understood. I am aware that I have Gem/on the 7th quickly going into Cancer. That makes my 7th ruled by Merc. I have Merc in Cap and it falls in my 1st house. DO I now look at the Cancer cos I get lost at if it is ruled by the Moon which moon? And how do you know if that is good as to its been afflicted or is it just good that his Venus falls in my 7th (in Cancer) and that his Gemini at the 29th degree falls just into my cusp. Is that good? Now as to if I marry a second time. Okay my 9th house starts in (the cusp) at a late Virgo so I think Merc rules it too. and then goes into Libra (his Mars) and I think Libra is ruled by Venus. Now I am lost as to which Venus?? Just about there. or here. Stell, thanks for walking me through this I know Mystique early in the thread was also very knowledgeable about what I was asking and how I just wasn't quite able to grasp how you figure whether the other persons' a 'good fit' or not. Biss and Aphrodite ...I think we will be very ready soon to look at the 'whole other idea that Biss came up with (me with the potential 6 husbands..thanks Cat.) Just let us understand the 9th cusp and how you can fit the second husband in. Does it help if mine starts in Virgo and then goes into Libra and that he has a VIrgo Moon and a Mars Libra? But I have 2 aspects...Mars in my 7th square my sun and Neptune in my 11th trine my sun.My 9th house cusp is in Leo but I have Pluto in Virgo in the 9th (and yes anyone who remembers my<problem< he has his sun,mercury and mars in my 9th) My husband has his Mars sitting on my Descendant.What does the Neptune aspect tell me....please! Even though it is confusing there is a lot of excellent info within. Notice the Samartho comment about the 2nd marriage in the 8th house. This also agrees with Tajs thread on the 2nd house is what you bring and the 8th house is what you seek(in a sexual relationship). I do have the Carole Rushman predictive astrology book now and have found it interesting as well. I also have the Magi book (love and money) and it too, has lots of info. Or is the 7th house the same as the Descendant? (If so, mine would be Capricorn). I'm turning 40 this year, so the subject of marriage is a serious one for me...any insights would be very much appreciated! I just now saw your question and after thinking on it for a while I think that you having Capricorn on your 7th cusp would mean it is ruled by Saturn and that would mean that Marriage would be delayed for you. If 8th H shows what you want sexually from a man then I'm in trouble with my moon/Venus/Saturn/nn in Aries there.
