I have mars in Virgo as well as Pluto in Libra in the 7th house

I have Uranus in Libra in the 8th house.

Currenlty, I have been "involved" with 2 Virgo's....one is the guy I'm heartbroken over...the other was the one I dated a few weeks ago...who happens to be on the Virgo/Libra Cusp (2 days before and 2 days after right?) on September 19th.

Both people I have pretty intersting chemistry/ATtraction with....but it's the Virgo I'm heartbroken over that is making me wonder.

i'm a Pices Rising, moon, Jupiter and I know that Virgo is the opposite of Pices..so what do you think?

I think I'd also like to get that book that tells you when you'll marry....I'd like to know how old I'm going to be.

I have done 'it' too and with me it didn't fit. I have Virgo rising (like Madonna) too and so Neptune is the ruler of 7.
Merc makes her (or is it his ) first harmonious aspect 21 or 22 days after my birthday. I was married when I was 24 and not 22. Hehe it was a silly impulse and divorced in one year.

What I found very interesting too (and yes astrology is very complex) is what Bissie once mentioned about your progressed chart. When one of the progressed planets hits your progressed Ascendant the person you meet has the characteristics of that planet. I believe she said something like it is almost sure you will meet someone (of course you could call this a potential marriage partner too) when a planet hits your Ascendant (progressed). And then the progressed Moon (and maybe even an other planet) in your progressed 7th is what, I believe, Cat said to be an indication of meeting someone you could be having a long term relationship with.
Cat?? Did you?

Well in my case Mercury is on my current partner's Ascendant and I am a very very mercurial person indeed. Uranus is on my progressed Ascendant (but a few degrees away so...I don't know if that counts) and he (as well as my ex) are both very Uranus like (compu's). I say this because it takes a while for Uranus to move away from your Ascendant so is making it obvious I meet Uranus kind of people for a longer period of time. So....when I met my ex in '98.
My current Love is also very unusual . Now I have my progressed Moon in my progressed 7th and he has his progressed Jupiter in his progressed 7th.
Things to think about...hmmmm??!!
So this is fun, to see the things Bissie and Cat told me do fit because we are made for each other. He really has my manual and reads my mind . We are in awe still!

Actually Mercury in his progr. at the time was at 0.56 Leo and the Asc. at 1.15 Leo and Uranus in mine at 5.26 Libra and Asc. at 7.50 Libra. So Uranus in this case is more than one degree away and it has passed my Ascendant already a long time ago. Does it still make sense now?

My progressed Venus(conjuct my natal mars)is now in my natal 7th house and my progressed Mars in conjuct my progressed descendant opposite my natal Saturn which is also conjuct my Ascendant!!! Would this explain why jumping (okay busting through) the fence is something that is irritatingly present? SInce the natal moon (in the other yard!) is conjuct my progressed mars and ascendant as well my progressed moon hovering over his natal Sun and Mars!His progressed moon on my Pluto,his progressed sun opposite my venus,etc.etc.etc. etc.etc.

I also checked my progressed chart against my husbands natal and his Saturn is directly conjuct my ascendant and opposite my progressed mars.That's it! of course I might be reading what I want to read but hey, I never find Life dull...I have too much imagination! I just don't want ot be DELUSIONAL!!!!

Okay break is over!!I have my exam tonite and I am a basket case!

I pull a progressed chart at astro.com

I compare that to my natal chart.

I see where my natal planets land in the progressed chart.

If ANY planet at all ends up in the 7th house of my progressed chart, that means I'm on the verge of merging with someone who embodies the qualities of that planet. (does the sign matter?)

So, if nothing lands in my 7th house, then I can just keep trying different dates for the progressed chart until "something" ends up in there. And the date will tell me when that's gonna happen.

Is that right?
So far so good?

And what's that about 1 day = 1 year?

So if the progression date given at astro.com is 34 days after my date of birth, I'll marry when I'm 34? Is that right?
I'm 34 now, and there's not much year left. Hmm.
My sweetie's progressed date is 39 days after his dob, and he's 38 right now.

For me his moon opposite my uranus, his sun and mars conjunct my uranus, his ascendant trine my uranus, and my moon sextile his uranus, my venus and mars and ascendant trine his uranus, all add up to one hot number. My pluto also conjuncts his venus, his pluto conjuncts my sun, midheaven, jupiter and my pluto.

Pluto is obession and passion that won't let go, Uranus is the spark. Venus just won't do it all alone. My loves have been all over the map, my seventh is in Gemini but very few of my major loves had Gemini influences, just one. Virgo yes but not Gemini.

ugh... ok.

you have to be VERY careful when doing these sorts of predictive astrological things. so many people think they have 'the' way, and i dont know if its just to sell books, anything with love in the title seems to sell because so many people need love in this world.

i dont have enough experience with progressions to comment on any method using them, but what i will say is...

its not easy to predict things in a chart. you have to be very experienced and a simple natal chart will not do it, imho. you cant look at your 7th house and just say 'oh its got nothing in it, therefore i wont get married ever'. it doesnt work that way. i have absolutely nothing in my 7th house, using placidus or meridian or whatever. i am married, however. took me 33 years but i did it. we havent been married a year yet. but anyway...

if you see little coincidences dont think they are a positive indicator. many things in a natal chart could *help* to suggest something, but the natal chart has to be looked at as a whole. if you have certain planets in common, of COURSE you are going to find a person that shares them interesting! of course you are going to feel a connection with them! its simply because you have something in common. isnt that a good indicator for marriage? THINGS IN COMMON? OH NO! youve got to have the ruler of the 9th house in conjunct aspect to the ruler of the progressed whatsiswhosit and whathaveyou and the ascendant has to be plussleflutzelled! bleah im too sarcastic today, and i apologise. after that carolyn reynolds thing im really mad. i dont mean to take it out here.

i do know that it is possible to chart the possible appearance of a relationship. i just want people to be careful.

anyway what im trying to say is that dont fret if you hear some indicator of a marriage, and you dont have it. dont be thinking that you are going to stumble through life alone. if you really want to get married, doesnt matter what your chart says, you will get married. heck you could PAY someone to marry you, if its really your will. now wouldnt that throw the whole chart into a tizzy?

certain aspects will definitely make some things a happy lovey thing, and others could make things harder. if you are going to have a relationship though, dont limit yourself. some of the most wonderful relationships come from the most unlikely people, and some of the charts that look great in composite or elsewise end up being unclimactic.

take a risk, and it might pay off. astrology does not preclude free will, something that linda brought to my attention, many years ago.
