Whoa. All that stuff coming up in August.... My rising is Leo, but Pluto is in Virgo in my first house......so all those planets, including Jupiter, will converge in my first house.... That Saturn aspect will Square my Aries mercury (0 degrees) and venus (9 degrees), and that Pisces will conjunct my natal Pisces (9 degrees)in the 7th house... I'm looking for a literary agent right now! Whaddya think???!!! LOL IP: Logged |

Greetings All!Thanks Cat & Carlo for the links! I will now begin my search for a subterranean shelter to curl up in for the next couple of months. That lovely 'party' in Virgo will be conjunct my natal Uranus and Pluto in the 3rd house. It will oppose my MC and Chiron by house/orb and my Sun and Mars by House. Oh, the fun doesn't end there! This little Virgoan planetary love fest will also Square my natal Gemini Moon while Trining my natal Venus in Taurus. Just to keep things interesting, the transiting Uranus/Mars conjunction is also conjunct my natal Saturn, while transiting Saturn is conjunct my North Node in the 1st! Whew! I'm afraid to look at anymore! My best guess is...my whole world is about to turn upside down! Short of my playing hermit for a couple of Moons, any insight into handling all these energies? ------------------ "If immortality be untrue, it matters little whether anything else be true or not." - Buckle IP: Logged |

This AriesMars _always_ has to watch the Red Planet!!!Because aggression attracts aggression, and personally, when I remember to focus and do it, I find it's easier to channel the extra energy into a pleasant, passionate personal pastime that can inspire -- art, pleasure, self-improvement -- than flex my Martian muscles outward. Thanx for the wise warning, and looking forward to slow, excellent Leo then Virgo summer seasons! Virgo party, write on! Lunargirl IP: Logged |

Great link, Cat! Thank you.I took astrology lessons for a couple of years, but I haven't been paying close attention to transits, etc., lately. Though, I am always aware of mercury retrogrades, and the phases of the moon! But these are things I need to watch, as I definitely feel I am entering a completely new phase in my life. I'll be watching things closely over the coming months, especially all those planets in Virgo converging in my first house. I'm a triple Aries...with Mars in Pisces! And it's in my 7th house...so this Mars retrograde I'm sure will impact me in some ways. Some of what that article said about relationships certainly rings true. A wonderful but sometimes difficult relationship has surfaced again, and there are things that need to be worked on. I'm not sure where it's going yet, to me he is worth the work, we'll see if he's up to it, too. Interestingly, yes, I can be aggressive about these things, but part of me says let it be, let him figure it out... Again, thanks...and I'm going to make an effort to visit this forum and the lessons forum more often. IP: Logged |

*mumbles something about saturn kicking half his chart soon and dad experiencing a chiron-on-chiron transit*C'mon - a retro planet just means its energies go lateral, it doesnt mean you're going to get a kicking IP: Logged |

Hello everyone! Cat- thanks very much for the article. With several planets in Virgo as well as my Saturn in Cancer (1st house) squaring my natal Mars and Merc on Pluto (all 4th house) the upcoming transits you mentioned have been heavy on my mind. *braces self* --it shall be an interesting study!ASC Cancer, 29° Sun Virgo 22°, 4th Moon Virgo 10°, 3rd Mercury Libra 13°, 4th Venus Virgo 08°, 3rd Mars Libra 01°, 4th Jupiter Pisces 11°, 9th Saturn Cancer 17°, 1st Uranus Libra 25°, 5th Neptune Sagittarius 07°, 6th Pluto Libra 06°,4th True Node Sagittarius 14°, 6th° IC, Virgo 13° MC, Pisces 13°

So true N_wEvil! But always interesting to watch what happens. Sometimes these things seem obvious to me, at other times they don't.For me, I've got so many things going right now, including trying to plan a trip to London in October w/ a wonderful but elusive triple Gemini guy. That Mars Rx is in my 7th house, so it's slowing things down, it seems. I'm impatient, but not expecting anything negative. IP: Logged |

Thank you Cat for all that info. The Virgo party will be on my 12th hs and I have no idea what to make of it. An epiphany would be welcome. The Trans. Saturn square Nat.Moon-Asc-Pluto has created just a suitable canyon-sized emptyness. IP: Logged |

Hi Everyone I'm glad you found the info interesting. There's so much plantary action going on (not to mention both Saturn & Mars being so close to earth) that I really have no idea how we'll all feel it. Perhaps we can all keep updating each other with what's happening in our lives re the transist that we're each going through? That would be great Sue PS: Aen - yes the 12th house is not easy to fully understand - especially when it's hit by so many transits at the same time. I also have Virgo in my 12th (1 - 9 degree) then the rest in my 1st. Hmm I'll check re what degrees the 5 planets will each be at. IP: Logged |

I have to say, that if this is the energy of Mars close to Earth, then it suits this Arien just fine!!!No problems I can't handle, no selfishness or impatience I can't restrain, although maybe I am being a tad more sarcastic than I'd like (but that's an ongoing battle -- to keep the wit, but watch the sting). Mind you, this would probably be a lousy time for me to try to have a tricky emotional discussion with somebody!! At least I am aware of that! People tell me I look good, I guess my energy is showing. I'm getting a project accomplished that has languished for years. I know that Saturn and Cancer are kicking my behind (which hasn't been fun), but this personal energy is pure Mars! Probably my AriesSun/Asc/Mars are being energised. I hope Mars brings some benefits for you all -- I cannot believe that it is nothing but a malefic planet -- it's given me so much! This is a great time to forge ahead -- so what if there are delays -- your efforts will yield results later. And you say it won't be this close to Earth again for another few thousand years? Pity. Although probably I'll be a 10-water placement by then, and have a hard time with it then, who knows. Lunargirl IP: Logged |

If Mars is in Pisces does that mean our sex drives are higher? Hmmmm..too bad it's too hot here for that. With so many planets in Virgo I'll have to analyze that. I have been analyzing how sexy I can be these days, I am thinking of trying for a new look. For me that's serious business, this doesn't happen often.Lately I have had a strong desire to become a new woman, change, grow, and mature, with sexy but not too skimpy clothes. Sexy but with coverage if that's possible. And I have had a desire for drinks too, mixed drinks and lazy days. That sounds just like summer but for me that's unusual. Natasha IP: Logged |

Mars retro, it`s been a doozy so far on my personal front as well as globally. At least I`m viewing the blaster worm, electric blackout and other greater/ lesser events to this. I`m getting curious, as to the closer Mars gets, just what all is going to unfold. Any more thoughts as we get closer? juniperb IP: Logged |

Hi Juniperb Yes I've really noticed this Mars retro.... AND what about all this heat....then blackouts ...plus 14 people were struck by lightening here in the UK earlier this week Seems like Mars energy has gone totally bonkers.I still haven't seen Mars in the sky. Everynight this week when I've remembered to look - I couldn't even see a Moon ...now that's bizzaire. Maybe I need glasses I was out for dinner with a girlfriend who currently has Mars opp her natal Mars and Pluto......and boy could I tell she was under that transit Hope things are good with you Sue

Aphrodite, tonight sooo...has anyone hooked up with someone new since the beginning of August? you only have another 40 days or so to test this theory, and then you will have to wait almost exactly two years if you want to try again... c'mon, can you kids say 'astrologiclal research'? sher, I knew you could Call for Research: Single or polyamorous guys, between now and Sept 26, hook up romantically (ie, sexually) with someone new, and then test to see if circumstances that appear to be beyond your control will almost immediately arise to limit and otherwise c*ckblock you from continuing to see that person. Ladies you can do the research too with me lol siriusly I bet you that within two months of first hooking up during Mars Rx, you will not be hooking up with that person anymore, no matter how much you love them and want to keep it going...either they will lose interest, meet someone else, move, or something will stop the hookup in its tracks, forcing you to give up and move on. I mean you can just take my word for it, I've tried it and found it to be true a few times now, it's uncanny. Darrell Martini tracked it too. Or open call to anyone brave enough to further the research. otherwise, you can accept as a fact that your new romance will fail. so just stick to old tried and true worn out or rarely used standbys until October lol have fun, and be careful out there Love, Carlo IP: Logged |

Hello everyone. I am new here and really wished I came across this thread sooner... I've started hanging out with someone I met before the mars rx and wonder if I should even attempt to proceed, of course, with very much caution and hesitation throughout? As a virgo sun, I'm feeling the mars in pisces particularly strongest in my house of relationships (others) as it is an opposition from my sun. Also, any thoughts on having a birthday on Aug. 28th -- with the new moon, jupiter's move into virgo, pluto direct? Thanks! Any insight is greatly appreciated.-stellar IP: Logged |

real advice: if you really like him, just get to know him now until October, then turn on the Virgo charm true fact: you and I share the same b-day it could happen: yes, I think Mars is going to crash into Earth on our birthday, or something like that... Virgo's best news in 12 years: plus, on our b-day, Jupiter goes into Virgo for a whole year, so it can be your best year in twelve if you play it right reminder: yet keep his paws off you until Mars goes direct, if you like him a lot. Or a sure fire way to dispose of him is to be with him now lol: yes, Mars Rx was made for Summer loves suggestion: also, see the Your August thread for some back up advice for Virgs, and then plug into that website every moonth Love: Carlo IP: Logged |

Purrfect example was she the sacrificial birthday chicken for the king's feast? Happy birthday And I meant to say that the change can obviously come from us too, not just from the other person feeling tired or bored of us. So if there is someone you want to hook up with, but don't want them following you around after, now is the best time in two years lol Love, Carlo
