Hello Lovelies! I haven't posted in a little while, but I've had this question that's been in my head now for a couple of days, and I wanted to ask ya'll what your take on it was. You see, I was born about 2 weeks before my due date, and had the Dr. let me mother go into labor on her own, I would most likely be a Scorpio. I find that weird, because it seems to go against the laws that we are born into the Sign that we need to learn from, but the matters were taken into mortal hands, ad I was born into the sign before.Okay, that was a total jumble of thoughts (not to mention ineloquent LOL). Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Thanks! ------------------ "Our generation has had no Great War, no Great Depression. Our Great War is the Spiritual War. Dear Phantasm:My son was induced and I had the same sort of astrological questions as well. I came to the conclusion that whatever time the baby is born is ultimately the time which that soul has chosen for its incarnation. Although it seems as though outside forces determined the time, I believe that most likely the child's soul orchestrated the whole thing at some level, perhaps through the subconscious of either you or your physician. Just a thought.... Sincerely, divinia ------------------ What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness? -- Jean-Jacques Rousseau IP: Logged |

Its my opinion tha it makes no difference how our birth is induced, we are born at the moment that we are ment to be born.If your birth was induced easrly, it was so that you would be born at that time, not your normal birth date and time. Agin, thats only my opinion. Lanny IP: Logged |

I agree that the time of actual birth is what matters in astrological calculation. I say this because of what was explained to me as the scientific basis of natal astrology:The human brain is "the finest receptor of electromagnetic energy" on earth. While the fetus is still in the womb, it is shielded from the electromagnetic waves given off by the heavenly bodies because it is surrounded by water (amniotic fluid). When the baby is born, and comes out of this "water", the brain is suddenly bombarded for the first time by these waves, and thus "pre-programmed" to be disposed toward certain things (the stars incline, they do not compel). Hope that helps... just something to chew on. IP: Logged |

hello meercat i liked your explanation. this is similar, if not the same, with what the rosicrucians say about birth as well. aphrodite ------------------ "If music be the food of love, play on." -Twelfth Night, by William Shakespeare IP: Logged |

Just as our plans on this plane don't always go as planned..... I was 'supposed' to get married on a certain day, but I didn't, I was supposed to be named something different than I was. I was supposed to not sleep in. The projected timeline that came about from these 'supposed' events would have been different than the ones that had. That doesn't diminish reality or in the absence of well-laid plans, doesn't stop the drive to continue planning things, I just expect different results than the ones I had originally thought. They are still valid and true.IP: Logged | |
