I've heard it's not an ideal aspect in a relationship chart, but can it be worked at?IP: Logged |

Pixel, tell me - are YOU a writer? Reading your posts sometimes, I'm struck by their profundity and the way in which they're expressed. I am just amazed at your insight!IP: Logged |

The Venus Square Uranus, so I've read, is like when you're sneaking around and doing quickie's, everything's grand. But when the relationship tries to be legitimate, it ends. That kind of thing. It's a ride, and you just hold on and go with the flow as long as you can stand it. ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |

Mmmm...I shall bear that in mind! Now, do I let astro-logic or emotions rule me??? Or maybe a bit of both...?!

How do you normally feel when you realize you've spent too much time fumbling around with nothing to show for it? IP: Logged |

Greetings...Well, not to put too fine a point on it, but... Venus SQR Uranus is THE traditional indicator for divorce. Now, one must look at the individual natal charts of the persons concerned to see if they indicate harmony in Synastry. I have found composite charts very revealing though used stand-alone. But someone raised a good point... if the relationship is unconventional in some way, or non traditional, it may fare better under this aspect. In terms of timing... well, how far apart are the Venus and Uranus from exact aspect in the composite chart? The number of degrees from exact aspect should give the number of years (or months) the relationship will last. (Using the symbolic degree for a year progressions). Remember.. the FREE WILL CHOICE of both individuals can overcome the astrological aspects if BOTH parties choose to work at the relationship. Best wishes... Aselzion -That's cool... What does it mean by "exact aspect", as in looking at degrees between Uranus & Venus? Thanks .gloria IP: Logged |

Greetings...Astrojunkie... An exact aspect means for example if Venus were in 10 degrees of Taurus and Uranus were in 10 degrees of Aquarius they would be in exact square. If instead, Uranus was at 10 Aquarius and Venus at 7 Taurus, then they are still in a square aspect, but 3 degrees from being exact. A square, as you probably know, is 90 degrees. So, in our example, the aspect would be exact or perfect in 3 degrees, which symbolically would relate to 3 years in the degree per year system of direction. So, I would expect that within that 3 year period, the couple in question could have some problems/tensions/conflicts that would lead to separation. Hope that helps. In the Light... no, no, no...Venus Square Uranus is the indicator of hot sex...she got it right...(girl, quick, where's your Venus and Uranus lol)There is no indicator of divorce. You don't look at two charts and go, "Hmmm, yeah, you'll be divorcing," or "Oh, pick someone else, because you'll just wind up getting divorced." With this contact, you say to your courageous client, "Oh, yes, do mess around with this person, it will be the ride of your life." Any Venus-Outer planet contact is dope for that kind of excitement, which some people totally dig. Give me that suicidal freak who climbs up my balcony at 3 am or steals my car and goes to Vegas and comes back with a hotty runaway she met...any day of the week! I touch on Venus-Outer Planet contacts in this article, inspired by a cute Aries law student I hooked up with at a bar in Boston: http://lovestarz.com/track.html Love, Carlo IP: Logged |

Hey Aselzion -I understand a bit of what you mean by the degree per year system because I'm starting to learn about transits and such. And now I understand how to calculate the "exact aspect"... thanks... Carlos -

Ariestiger! RRROOOOWWWRRR>>> Well, first off, let me say congratulations for seeing that I am a Leo rising and the way to my heart is through sincere flattery. And I thank you. I have always written and I love writing songs and poetry (freestyle~ Uranus conjunct Sun.. I no lika da conforming .) I have a novella in the works and I always write naughty stories.. fantasy I suppose, although more Anais Nin erotica than traditional flowery romance..... But am i a writer? If you mean published and professional, no, if you mean passionate and fun.. yes. And Thank you, you made my night!!!!IP: Logged |

Pixelpixie -You're not going to believe this... but I've been reading Anais Nin for like 17 years now, and when people ask me who inspires me as a writer, I say "Anais Nin, Herman Hesse and Eric Van Lustbader", in that order! I have several of her books and read her autobiography - do you know about her? She had a bit of an odd... ummm... ... but anyways, she's my #1 inspiration because she writes from the inside- out. That's how I write. I don't like spending 5 paragraphs describing how the grass smells, what color the chair is, blah blah... You mentioned liking her before and I meant to checkmark you but forgot... I think I've read every novel she's written, and I have a few of her books on my shelf. Lost some of them during one of my moves... SO COOL! IP: Logged |

Pixelpixie: - Oh, my Mars in Gemini can lay the flattery on with a trowel! Just kidding - what I said was heartfelt. Gloria: *How do you normally feel when you realize you've spent too much time fumbling around with nothing to show for it?* I can't actually say, because I feel that the various trials and tribulations in my life, however difficult, have always been a valuable learning experience, and therefore I can't say that I feel that I have really ever wasted my time. Whatever experience I feel to be useless has usually turned out to be valuable later on. Mind you, I have the sort of mentality that believes it can flog dead horses back into life, or wring blood out of a stone. I'm successful occasionally, though always in a career context, NEVER in relationships. Man, these human bein's are difficult... Carlo: The Venus in question is in Capricorn, the Uranus in Libra. Both synastric and composite charts seem to denote a rollercoaster ride. His Sun, Venus and Neptune(Scorpio)form a trine to my Moon, Venus and Jupiter (Pisces). We have Venus trine Jupiter both ways, as well as my Venus opposition his Mars, Mars square Mars (Gemini vs. Virgo) and Mars square Saturn, again both ways. Would love to know what you make of this!IP: Logged |

I've a feeling I mistakenly typed "Venus square Jupiter both ways"; for "Venus" please substitute "Sun". My mistake - I was typing at speed!IP: Logged |
