KarenSD, Hi! I also have that book! I love it! It fits almost everyone I know accurately. My bestfriends is not accurate, but the next day fits her, so I say they got her B-day wrong! LOL! You have the same Birthday as my other good pisces friend! (the day of heaven and hell) It fits her too!
Well, Mine is pretty accurate. I am on Oct.6(the day of the good life!)

I love reading everyone's comments on this book because i have found it true almost all the time, but not 100 percent!!!

I also have the DESTINY and the RELATIONSHIPS books and they are also very fascinating.

I don't know HOW they did it but those astrologers know their stuff.

Linda must smile at them!

Hugs 'n' peace,
Karen

Alarik, 27 April:

"The Day of Self Sufficiency"

"Those born on April 27 can usually be found working behind the scenes; generally they do not assume the leading role unless drafted or forced to do so. They are happiest when they can function undisturbed, tucked away in a safe place where they give their all to private endeavors. It is rare to find those born on this day preoccupied with a highly developed social life; it is usually within an institution (e.g., school, work, church) that they are able to relate best with others.

"April 27 people can manifest a strong presence in human affairs without being physically present. They have great projective powers; their thoughts, initial actions, even their image alone may serve to set things around them in motion. In solitary activity they are never lonely. Nor are they jealous of those who have greater popularity in the public eye or in the eyes of their family and friends. They seek to be useful, to get the job done, and have no time for sophisticated criticism or praise. They feel it is they themselves who know best, only too well, whether they have succeeded or failed and have little need for outside evaluation. Those born on this day have a rare capacity to handle their occasional failures well, moving on undaunted to their next project, building on a knowledge culled from previous mistakes."

(there's lots more, but that's a start...)

The advice: "Try to increase social contact; beware of isolating yourself. Push yourself to improve spiritually and beware of imposing your values on others. Don't get stuck in a rut; refuse to be unhappy for long."

The meditation: "The true church is one's own heart."

calwes, 3 March

"The Day of Design"

"Those born on March 3 usually have a pretty clear picture in their minds of what they wish to accomplish. Although highly imaginative, they have a firm pragmatic side that enables them to put their ideas into practice. Unlike those who seek acclaim or reward before finding a way to be useful, they recognize first a substantive need, and then apply whatever talents they have to provide for that need. Not only able to see the big picture, those born on this day are capable of focusing on details as well. It doesn't hurt that their visual skills are generally well developed.

"March 3 people are usually socially involved in their work, and as mentioned, pragmatic. Yet they may feel a need to live highly private, even secretive, lives away from their career. Those born on this day can be prone to escapism, whether they lose themselves to an earthly world of sensation or a romantic world of the imagination. Nonetheless, successful March 3 people are able to netaly balance their public and private lives, not allowing either to dominate at the expense of the other."

(more follows, but that's the start)

March 3 advice: "Get to know yourself better. If you don't like what you find, do something about it. Don't let a self-critical attitude hamper you. Also beware of making plans without setting reasonable deadlines. There is a time to take action."

March 3 meditation: "The grand pattern of the universe is God's design."

juniperb, 2 February:

"The Day of Class"

"Not only are February 2 individuals apt to be polished, sophisticated and classy, but also likely to embody many of the typical qualities (both the very best and worst ones) of the social group or nationality from which they spring. Thus, no matter how unusual they are, they tend to stay attached to their cultural beginnings.

"February 2 people are able to 'do the impossible' and make it look easy. It is because they have great facility with their medium that they can operate in a relaxed fasion. Though they give the impression that such fluency comes naturally, in fact a great deal of discipline and hard work stands behind it. Classically, those born on this day prefer to work hard in private, not in public. It is extremely important to their image that they remain objective, in complete control of what they are doing - in a word, masterful. February 2 people generally think the best way to avoid problems is to just do things their way. In fact, however, pushing difficulties away, or eschewing any sort of trouble in interpersonal relations can be a subtle form of fascism, which coerces others to play by
February 2 rules or not play at all. Cultivating a controlled but easy manner can be just the thing to rid themselves of the bothersome frictions others cause. Indeed, those born on this day seek to make life in general a smooth ride."

(again... more is there but that's the start of it)

The advice for 2 Feb: "Be more aware of yourself and the figure you cut. Keep in tune with the language of others. Retain humility and a sense of your roots."

Meditation for 2 Feb: "The simplest tastes are often the most elegant."

Aen, 25 September for you:

"The Day of the Symbiotic Satirist"

"Those born on September 25 live in a curious relationship with their society. On the one hand they are dependent on it for their sustenance, and ultimately their success. On the other hand they are often openly critical of it and capable of ironically exposing its faults. In doing so they may actually show how the social fabric around them can be improved and strengthened. Thus their apparent negativity or probing evaluations can lead to positive results.

"Oddly enough, outside of their local sphere, those born on this day may be seen as living sympbols of the area from which they come, so closely are they identified with it in the minds of others. Yet no one will be more keenly aware and critical of their neighborhood, town, city, state or country than they. Their relationship, then, with their homeplace is interestingly symbiotic, a kind of sharing that can be at once advantageous and disadvantageous for both parties.

"September 25 people can also be highly representative of their family or social circle. In addition, it is possible that they may embody the values and aspirations of their company or peers, but nonetheless stand aloof due to their critical and questioning attitude.

"September 25 people often have difficulty opening up and expressing their emotions honestly in personal relationships. They can also appear cool and distant on first meeting..."

25 Sept advice: "Your tendency to be sharp or critical can get you in trouble. Remember that words can hurt worse than blows. Try to be open about what you are feeling. Don't cut yourself off from life."

25 Sept meditation: "People hide more than money in books."

Oh yeah... HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO WHOMEVER THIS LIBRA PERSON IS IN YOUR WORLD, AEN!

Karen

28 October, for you Isis:

"The Day of Research" (with a cool caricature of the tortoise and the hare next to those words)

"Those born on October 28 believe in being well prepared. Before they speak on a give subject or allow themselves to invest their time, money and energy in a career or business they generally make an effort to comprehend the comlexities involved. In addition, research continues to aid them in their undertakings once they are on the rails. 'Doing their homework' is a kind of compulsion for many born on this day who hate above all things the embarrassment of being caught unprepared. Their efforts can go to neurotic extremes, where they experience anxiety over metting deadlines, arriving on time and maintaining control and order in their work.

"October 28 people may get into trouble if they apply their own standards when judging others or placing demands on intimates. Learning to accept laughter and jokes about themselves and their little foibles will be important to their maintaining good health. Most october 28 people make no distinction between their career and private lives; some, however, go to the opposite extreme and adopt a much more relaxed or even sloppy attitude at home. Perhaps the latter type are ultimately happier but certainly both types demand understanding from those who live with them.

"Seeing what is behind phenomena, learning how things work, is extremely important to october 28 people. Their outlook in this respect tends to be very serious, indeed..."

(it continues for a while...)

28 October advice: "Cultivate the more gentle aspects of your nature. Sometimes take things as they come without having to study causes. Don't be so demanding and judgmental. Allow for spontaneous expression. Worry and fear are the true enemy."

28 October meditation: "Learning when to let go and allow things to happen on their own is indeed a practiced art."

No need to be sorry, you didn't write the book

Fortunately I put much more weight into natal astrology than that sort of thing, so it's difficult to take something personally that you don't put much credence in in the first place.

It seems thus far Juni has the coolest one!

They brought that book out in my astrology class. When the teacher read that I was the day of the "Aloof Icon" I was surprised when everyone turned to look and gave nods of sure agreement, "Oh wow Leyla, that really fits you," and so forth. I had no idea I projected that kind of image.

So I guess it is an accurate book.

Sure, Aen!

16 January, "The Day of Fulfillment"

Fulfillment is the ultimate goal of a January 16 person, whether of a personal, social or even universal nature. Ultimately, it is a feeling of satisfaction or wholeness those born on this day are after, oten involving a completion, rounding off and tidy resolution to endeavors. But this is not the whole story. Fulfillment also includes an intangible something which says that they have done their best and that their hopes and wishes have been finally realized. In a sense, this subjective state (which may not last very long before a new goal is set), signals for them that things quite simply have gone well.

"Such indications of well-being and acknowledgment are needed regulary by January 16 people, as a kind of ego-reinforcement or security apparatus. Those born on this day are well suited for work where they can clearly accomplish tasks in a given time, rather than occupations with a great deal of uncertainty or flux. As for any habituated person, however, their feelings of satisfaction may diminish over time unless the projects are upped both in their scope and intensity."

The advice for 16 January: "Make a realistic assessment of your abilities. Keep your nose to the grindstone, but don't take on more than you can handle. On the other hand, remain active and avoid complacency. Pay sufficient attention to your relationships."

And the 16 January meditation: "Stretch only as high as you can, but a stepladder may help you to reach a bit higher than that."

Karen, Thanks! That meditation is important to me because I tend to forget the suffering part, esp. concerning others, and tend to be too positve and not as empathetic as I should be! The book has helped me to think more about how to relate to others this way, instead of always saying things like: things will get better and look on the bright side, etc. The only thing about my day I didn't find true is that I'm not overly polyanna. just a little bit! hahaha. Thanks again for your pre-birthday wishes!
