I am Aries rising and a big part of me wants to be alone. My Dad is Aries sun and like someone said earlier he can see straight through others (so can I). We have both suffered from depression and both extremely sensitive, despite our pioneering spirit (good in a crisis, crap at everyday mundanity). I have a theory that lots of Aries men and mother issues and suffer from depression - anyone else think the same??? Love Sue x

I don't just think Arians are loners...Librans can also be loners..sometimes they have a hard deciding who to be with or who not to be with, and they end up being alone

Yeah.. i guess all of us can put on some armor and conquer the world. That would be real exciting. I've often felt strong emotions of sadness, though i won't call that depression, possibly from circumstances or people i know i won't be able to change. Or perhaps someone v dear to me hurts me with his/her words, then the short-lived depression comes (maybe even longer depending on how long the hurt lasts- my longest was a yr, where sad memories come back often to haunt).
But we'll all find a way to solve the problem? Once we solve it, i think the Aries depression will dissipate just as fast

sue g,

I, definitly, agree with that theory of yours.
I, sincerely, hope that Fishtail is onto something, as well.

I can't believe I didn't put something on this before! I was sure I did!

I can vouch definately for some Ariens I know who are loners at heart. They like to be around lots of people but only have a few friends. And that is kind of sad... aww I think my Aries Moon sympathises. Also, Virgos can be real big loners too!

I don't have any significant aries per say but i do have Mars in my seventh house and my mercury is conjunct Mars. I feel these influences give a similar effect as i am a loner and i have a difficult time maintaining friendships and close relationships. I think also the aries/mars influence makes people harsh or blunt in their speech which i am a lot, and i can see that this alienates people from you.I think it scares people as they don't know how to respond or how to handle it except for other aries people.
