Hi AJ,
If you had time, i'd be interested to know what my MC means and the influence of my cappy asc with 8th house moon.

My moon is Capricorn in the 8th. I've read some "harsh cold" descriptions of Cap moon. I don't feel it applies at all. I think Leo moon would be a lot easier for an Aries..

Leo moons are known to

1) Enjoy idle banter over lobster

2) Be enormous babies who want to literally wear a diaper around town while drinking a bottle of champagne

3)Be carried around by 12 gorgeous naked women named Deliliah

4)Leo moons are likely to befall very ill with the worst case of tibalartis you've ever seen.

5)One leo moon once shouted "flibberty gibbet" from the roof tops

6)Leo moons should be avoided if you like chinese food, or if you enjoy sex while watching TV.

7)Most leo moons enjoy having popcorn thrust down their gullets

8)Don't forget to wrap your leo moon in saran wrap and send him off to a random high school prom.

Virgo-AriesArtist -

My Sun in the 5th House probably loves your Leo Moon in your 5th House ... what do you think? Cool stuff.

Sparkling -

The MC is your 10th House Cusp. NOT what Planets are in your 10th House, but the actual Cusp, where we all have one Ruler. The 10th House is a good place to possibly find what someone may enjoy as a career. Or what they may be drawn to in certain dynamics.

I can see where you are a VERY exacting person, and it's the worst when you put it upon YOURSELF by being difficult on YOURSELF. Very difficult not to be judgemental towards others when you are so judgemental towards yourself.

I'm sure you know a little about the Virgo infuence? Detail-oriented, perfectionistic, and idealistic about it all. So you really need to be involved with things in which others are willing to support you unconditionally. Either that, or work by yourself if you prefer that. You'd be good at doing "behind the scenes" type work, such as research or writing. You may just need to feel more comfortable making your case in front of others.

Hi AJ - guess what i love doing research and planning, organising people and things!! So that's pretty true. I like workign with people but prefer to do it myself if others don't do it properly. But I am very hard on myself..critical too. I wish I could lighten up a bit

Glad it helped you to know that your not the only one who feels they way you do!
Take care!

Sparkling- A Leo moon that likes mirrors!?!?! No way!!!!

Autumn-your aspects sound like FUN to me... atleast that I share them, or they are opposites/or in Scorpio with his. I also have Venus in Scorpio and Uranus in Libra... and I have Mars in Scorpio as well.

SparklingSag,
Uranus is Your originality and drive for freedom. It's the "Rebel" planet. It thinks it can do a better job than the established order. If it's strong in a chart, we get people who are concidered geniuses, essentrics, cranks, or even insane by the society we live in.
Angela, Thanks! My husband and I share neptune, pluto and our Ascendant, but otherwise that's it. I did a compatability chart, but forget what was what! Isn't having Venus in Scorpio fun!lol! take care.

Regarding looking into the mirror a lot, I always think of that mythical character, can't recall the name, who was always checking in the mirror to make sure he really existed ...

"How do you tell if a Leo Moon has emotions for you if they aren't showing it?
Are they just not letting anyone see their emotional side or do they just don't care?"

my experience with this was i went 21 years without *really* having emotions for anyone (other than warmth or irritation), and then was lost over what to do about it. the 2nd time it happened i found myself with a huge goofy monkey smile that i couldnt control. i think i may have been autistic, which i guess would be separate from the leo moon

i think having a leo moon causes me to be a perfectionist

I think there is a hard side to being a leo moon, i feel so much, but a lot of it is caught up in my pride. It's not that I don't care about people, cause I do but I guess I always look at how it affects me. (that sounds so selfish doesn't). Do you leo moons are detached like maybe an air sign moon? That's how i feel i come across

(i have leo moon in the 5th house)

also it feels like having an emotional celibacy, maybe lifetimes of practicing the restraint of emotion. when it comes out (and when it does it is highly necessary) it is like a 'roar' in one way or another. a roaring cry usually.

my father sees me as having 'an ego' in a negative sense, usually when i have some criticism/advice for him or when i insist on adhering strongly to some value of mine-i dont know if he would be so apt to think this if he hadnt lightly studied typical astrological traits

also the pisces sun (now that i'm feeling) does quite a bit for attuning to emotional reality, and the leo moon wants to hold it in as much as possible, which is good, b'c otherwise i'd be a fountain of one emotional reaction or another probably. maybe the leo moon acted as a kind of shield at first

could be a bit of projection going on, plus the fact that i'm in shock about reality maybe seeming like an ego problem-he also has leo moon (capricorn)

i dont mean outright, as in 'i want to be a vegetarian'--> oh you just have an ego . ..i mean in a subtle sense as in when i am extreme about it, for example, my sensitivity issues about cleanliness mean i'm 'obsessed'; not wanting to have a job where i sell meat (even though now i have to eat meat after the conception and birth of my niece)

I wouldn't say that I feel detached ever. I know I have a hard time expressing my own personal emotion to the people close to me. I find it incredibly easy to empathize with everyone, even strangers, when the need arises. No lack of giving on my part, whether it be well said words, the look on my face or the vibes I send. Now, I do have my Leo moon in the 12th house, and what I gather from that placement is that emotions are more private or expressed in more indirect ways. I would say that fits me to a T. I have no problem expressing my wants and needs to anyone, they're just stated less emotionally. Laundry list like?

hey , i kind of doubt anyone remembers me but i've hung out here before. people have accused me of lacking emotion sometimes too, i think it's just because i'm really indifferent most of the time, although not at all in a negative way. but for all i know that might come from the aquarius ascendant, you know, all of that being rather detached stuff. I also think my leo moon makes me kind of a ham sometimes in a goofy scarcastic sort of way.

Hi all again,
I had an incident yesterday where I was in class. A guy that I have a soft spot for told me I was aloof and indimidating. I think this is possibly my leo moon being 'Queen bee'? Commanding respect, except I don't realise i'm doing it. Somone else also told me I seem aloof when we all go out so guys are scared to approach me! eek...the reality is that i'm actually quite vulnerable. I have Cap Asc so that may contribue to appearing aloof. Oh dear, i'm a little low thinking that eveyone seems scared of me!

I know a Sag man who has Aries Rising and a Leo Moon. Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve! His Leo Moon is in IV, so that may account for the unabashed display of emotion, and with all that Fire energy to back it up he really packs a wallop!

I fear that I may sometimes come across as rather cold, aloof and uncaring, which may be because of my Aquarius Rising moreso than my Leo Moon. But I hope not! Because underneath it all I'm just a big softie pussycat.
