i think -- because i am sidereal gemini and know how to take a mental chill pill that there are some smart observers of astrotrend here.

cancer: the moon: our mother. aka: earth in capricorn.

the mother carries the babies. the mother births the babies. without the Mother the cycle of life ends. what do men do?

if you look at the glyph for cancer the constellation you will see what looks like someone wearing a gown with arms outstretched to the heavens saying "why?' we are not meant to be filled with guilt hen we think of our mothers but manyt of us are. perhaps this is where we are in evolution.

but cancr, vindictive? cancr, harsh? cancer defensive and even painful? even deadly/

look at the tribe. all twelve signs.

i have sidereal moon in aries. when i started reading this stuff my ears got hot. my HEAD got hot, i had to get up from the desk and remind yself that i was dealing with friends cause i get MAD when people pick on the moon children. damn mad. and the cancer aries energy combines and i become awrecking ball. but you don't deserve that -- you all come here to learn and for that matter, i did too.

Cancer - Cancer would find it hard to get revenge on someone close to them, even if the person hurt them. Worse they would do in that situation is get in their shells and never come out again. When it comes to people who aren't VERY close though (like outside the familly circle) Cancers can be pretty tough cookies I've noticed and yes I think they would get revenge, though, as opposed to a Scorpionic revenge, it'd prolly be a bit more childish because cancer is technically a kid in the zodiac -pre-teen(leo)- and I do see the kid-like streak in cancers. Their revenge might have a school prank feel to it lol Like someone walks into a classroom and a bucket of paint falls on their head, kinda thing.. and there's your lil Cancer smirking in the background

Scorpio - I see Scorps as being extremly faithful to friends and familly, very loyal and they're a sign I feel I can totally trust once they ARE my friends. Scorpio's revenge can be the most cutting but I think Scorpio uses it sparingly and wouldn't often venture into revenge unless it's absolutely necessary and the other person absolutely deserves it, in the Scorpio's mind. As opposed to the typical interpretations, in my personal experience with Scorps they DO forgive and forget (k maybe not forget) but deffinetly forgive, if the person didn't intend to hurt them and is obviously sorry for their actions..

VERY NICE...I can relate with all three...

After reading to Linda's Sun Signs I have tried my best not to take a revenge but it's very true Scorpio would sting you only if you have cornered him/her.

I don't know but with me sometimes I make people really clear on what I don't agree and where they are disrespecting me but sometimes others just fail to understand and take things lightly.It has been couple of times and then I had to do something which make them understand that STOP MESSING with me.

Well I have many planets in Sag and I guess that even makes me blunt but I don't understand why they fail to see it that I am unhappy about something...and it's not good to mess that way....

Scorpios are very intense by nature. Any of you Scorpios ever feel that others don't take you seriously and then you hurted them because they didn't listern to you before?

I can say there are mean people out there, but I really dont believe it in ma soul.

I am trusting but never to a fault, because I believe in myself and know I can never be held down by anyone or anything (sheer physical force aside, of course).

I do not belive in revenge. I belive in Karma and I make sure I purge myself of any negativity as soon as it happens. I find that easy to do because if I dont my body speaks out.

But one thing I dont understand is that through all the positive traits I beleive I have ..(not easily come by off course...hard childhood, yada yada yada)...I still have a strong believe in love and human kindness.

And I can't seem to shake off this darned feeling I have to be nice even at the detriment of myself. I must have an inferiority complex stemming from somewhere, cos I know I am 'self-righteous'. Or I believe I have good traits. Modesty not being one of them

i always try to se the positive side of a man ( i have critised libras a lot on this very forum but they are my very best friend )so i'll say belief in kindness doesn't determine your vindictiveness.

1) We were lost and I insulted my mom's "navigation" abilities. Her reaction is the prime example of the archetypical Cancer's ability to use their words to grab you and smash you to the ground. She is very verbally aggressive. She later on says, "Well, what's in the past is in the past." My thoughts: learn how to read a map for the future. I didn't say that out loud, of course.

2) My friend (scorpio) is very sensitive and actually a little depressed. So, whenever she feels like I'm "ignoring" her, so gets into a hissy fit about how I'm not being a good friend, I never pay [full] attention to her, and so on. So, finally, I tell her that I don't feel like talking to anyone and to go away and later on I find out that she went to her hotel room crying. I call her and she tells me that because of the way I treated her that she almost committed suicide! For a second there, I almost thought she was CANCERIAN! Well, I didn't take that BS, so I told her not to talk to me anymore. Later that night at a dinner party, she approches me and asks if we're still talking. Me=WTF??! I just say "Sure" and walk away from her. This story's lesson? Sometimes Scorpio's complex emotions is just not worth untangling. They can be very manipulative when they're blinded by their hurt emotions. The best thing to do is just back off and let the storm cease.

3) Naturally, brothers and sisters fight. But my brother (scorpio) and I fight like wild dogs. We attack each other with whatever weapon we can get: things we've done to each other when were kids, problems with parents that make the other person cry, pety fights we've had in the past, anything that'll make the other feel inferior and cry. Water signs tend to make pety fights into HUGE fights only to boost their already damaged ego. This is another example that it's better off just backing off from a Water sign when their mad at you or just plain b**chy. Don't worry, our clinginess well bring us right back to you. If you'll still take us..

The one thing that people forget about Water signs is that we're "soft" physically, but we've "developed" emotional weapons to protect ourselves. Or, well, we'd like to call them weapons. Half of them are flaws: jealousy, verbal aggression, extreme clinginess, manipulation. But the other half are things that make us soft: our ever changing emotions that blind/change us constantly.

After writing all this, I've realized something: I'm so glad there are 11 other signs that can fill up my birth chart, lol. But really, there are a lot more positive than negative characteristics of Water signs. We're protective, we'll love you forever (even if we say we don't. im sure any of the other signs have said things they don't mean
when they're angry), and we're loyal. I can't think of any more positive things, lol, because I'm still thinking about the negative aspects of, well, me (isn't that so Cancerian of me???) but someone please say something to add to this. I didn't add much about Pisces. SORRY!!! :-(

Now I have 3 planets in Pisces and Sun & Merc in the 8th. It was hard for me to learn a degree of emotional detachment when I came across people like that, but absolutely necessary. Now, whenever anyone screws with me, I address it asap. Usually by repeating what they have just said, or saying "what's that supposed to mean?". I have it out with them as far as this is possible (they tend to be very passive-aggressive, which is the total antithesis of me), and then think "you don't matter to me" and don't go out of my way to associate with them or do anything for them. I don't care about talking to them civilly about Life, the Universe and Everything, I can do that with impunity, because, as I say, I am detached, they just happen to be a face to talk to.
If people have really pi$$ed me off, yeah, I do tend to get revenge...in my own way. And I can wait years!!! (This is so un-Aries-like!)
