The most sympathetic, soothing, understanding and inclusive Moon placement in the zodiac. They hate bigotry, like everyone to be happy, and may also recognize and support each other!
The women have large, beautiful and often melancholic eyes, and interests tend to have an off-the-beaten-track flavour. All the Pisces Moons I know from school have grown up to have something of the hippy about them (see thread below), in however large or small a way this is expressed. There is a strong connection with universal truths, more profound than in other signs. Lunar Pisceans merge with the ether.

Pisces moons can be very sad, but it doesn't seem to be part of them, more of a presence radiating outwards.

They love pets and animals,
I should know, Two Pisces moon parents here!

My niece has a Pisces moon in her 1st house. Huge blue eyes, but as she's only three, she has not yet gotten down to 'wanting everyone to be happy'. LOL. Her day will come!

Hi calliope, Pisces Moon in VIII here.....
The "sympathetic, soothing, understanding" part fits, and the "like everyone to be happy" part merges well with my Libra Sun, the Peacemaker. Wish I had those "large, beautiful eyes", but it wasn't genetically in the cards. "Off-the-beaten-track interests" is WAAAYYY true! I've often felt that no one I know likes the things I like and wants to understand the things I want to understand. "Something of the hippie" -- yes definitely, I was there in the late 60's and early 70's! "Lunar Pisceans merge with the ether." Ooooohhh, I like that! It gives me shivers! My mind travels there often, so I feel comfy, even with all my shivering.....

I have Moon in Pisces...in the 1st by Placidus...2nd by Equal House....I go by Placidus. I feel that it's a very good influence...I am very compassionate and strive to be sensitive to a person's needs and feelings. But the difficult thing is that you can absorb other people's emotions...and even energy from places. If I drive through a horrible part of town it puts me in tears...don't know if anyone can understand that. But...my Pisces Moon gives me invaluable spiritual gifts.

Moon in Pisces
Lunar Pisceans are known to be dreamy and not always in touch with reality. However, though these people may not always show real-world savvy in day-to-day, practical affairs, they make up for this with remarkable intuition. They can put themselves in anybody's shoes with extreme ease. On the plus side, this endows them with remarkable compassion and love. The down side with this apparent ability to break down boundaries is that these people can easily lose themselves in the suffering of others.

Their sense of humor is delightfully silly and a bit odd. These are perceptive souls who seem to be in touch with all the nuances and subtleties of human nature. Often this comes through in a strong sense of humor that is more of the receptive kind than the type of sense of humor that would make people the "life of the party". It's generally pretty easy to get them giggling.

Moon in Pisces people may get tagged as spaced out, but there's a lot more to them than meets the eye. They feel things out, and rely on their intuition. It just doesn't feel right for them to do otherwise. Their dreaminess can mean plenty of moments of absent-mindedness. These times of oblivion can land them in all sorts of predicaments with others who can too easily misunderstand these complex souls. Without plenty of space and time to daydream, Pisces Moons easily get overloaded with life. Give them room to be alone with themselves, and they're generally able to take on the world--even if their style when they do so is not always conventional or understandable.

Generally considered soft-hearted and sweet, Lunar Pisceans care about others and are easily touched by human suffering. This tendency gains them the reputation as suckers for sob stories. Although this may sometimes be true, many Lunar Pisceans learn, in their lifetimes, how to discern between sincerity and manipulation. Still, they definitely do have plenty of soft corners.

There's a delightful accepting side to Moon in Pisces that is sometimes mistaken for weakness. Pisces is the twelfth and last sign of the zodiac, and thus carries with it a little of each sign of the zodiac. As a result, they see themselves reflected in the behavior of others, giving them seemingly boundless compassion. Since the Moon represents our instinctive nature, Moon in Pisces seems to know how things feel without actual experience. For example, they may have never had sex, but seem to know all about it -- even, or especially, the subtleties of it. The ones that aren't too shy make awesome actors and actresses. This ability to empathize even in the absence of experience gives them an open mind and heart. Most long to express this through writing, music (both listening and making), poetry, and art -- in fact, the happiest people with this position do just that.

Though some are doormats, most Pisces Moon people instinctively know when they're due for a much-needed recharge. It's at these times that they retreat from the world (and its harsh realities) if only to gather strength to face everything and everyone again. Solitude is important to them, but they also need people, so their retreats will usually be short-lived. Pisces Moon individuals believe; and, let's face it, the world needs Piscean leaps of faith.

LOL, Azalaksh! So she keeps telling me.
But, really, there's nothing lucky about her. She deserves a true prince. As I told her, I'm just honored to be able to keep her company for a while, until he gets here; at which point I'll no doubt recede into the background, a tear (of undiluted joy) in my eye. You know, kinda like Duckie, from Pretty In Pink.

Well, HSC, I won't call myself an angel any time soon, but hey...

"Without plenty of space and time to daydream, Pisces Moons easily get overloaded with life."

Welcome to my existence.

I had a friend in high school who was a Pisces moon too, but I have never been friends with another Pisces moon since. It seems that many other Pisces moons at WAY too sentimental and wishywashy for me personally (I have a lot of air and a grumpy Saturn in my chart to temper Pisces' sentimental leanings). I tend to attract Pisces Suns like cliffs attract lemmings, however. I guess it has something to do with my DC being in Pisces.

Pisces moons do have a serious dark side - we can be pathological liars, serious difficultly discerning truth from our fantasies, can easily become addicted, and live our entire lives running from responsibility and reality. All of these are essential very serious antisocial behaviors. A few examples from our hall of shame:

- Elvis, who was perpetually conflicted emotionally, intractably self-destructive and had uncountable addictions that led to his undiginified death, was a Capricorn with a Pisces moon.

- Allen Ginsberg, honored beat poet, but also a severe morphine addict who at his worst forged prescriptions, shoplifted, and stole from friends, family and associates to support his habit. Gemini with Pisces moon.

- Winona Ryder, who was charged with shoplifting (and initially, having narcotics without a prescription), and has a history of dysfunctional romantic relationships and other self-destructive behaviors, is a Scorpio with Pisces moon

- Aleistar Crowley, who used paganism, witch craft and occultism to fuel his far-flung fantasies and illusions of granduer, much of the time wallowing in a severe opiate addiction, as well as used and explioted women as part of his destructive misadventures, was a Libra with Pisces moon

- Axl Rose, notorius frontman of Guns N' Roses, seems to have done everything a sick Pisces moon could do to himself and survive: substance abuse, violent mood swings, abusive relationships, volatile and immature tendencies when reality doesn't meet his expectations, and then ran off into seclusion from the big bad world for several years. Aqua with Pisces moon.

- Mark Hacking, who was charged with murdering his wife last year after she discovered he was a pathological liar and had lied to evade responsibility and accountability, is a Taurus with a Pisces moon.

- Moby, technopop musican who is often associated with veganism and advocating tolerance, has racked up a rep for habitual lying and elaborate tall-tale telling to impress people. Virgo with Pisces moon.

So no, we're not all angels.

You're all angels, in my book, Gemini Nymph.
Even if, flying higher than most, you may tend to singe your wings, and fall from grace.

That scares me the most ... the tendency to dream too abstract and the stubborn wish to convince others of my illusions, even if I have no grounds to believe in them myself.

I just hope I dont hurt anyone too badly while I am on trips across the universes.

I'm kind of a Pisces Sun/Pisces Moon. My Gemini Sun is in the 12th house...and I have a Pisces moon...

I'm definitely my own worst enemy.
