6th Housse is Taurus, Venus is in the second House. Is this good? Its in its native house but I'm buggered if I know what it means.Any pointers oh the great and powerful Sthenri please?

oh, i see sthenri - would you mind, i'm just not going to reply to the questions again (mercury retrograde messing with me or maybe i shouldn't answer what you asked) so i've lost my responses but i will say that my sixth house has mercury in capricorn and saturn is in virgo in my 2nd house.peace and blessings. No amisha, I am not, but I do teach my work to others. My chart says teaching would be good, Sag/1st house. I am an artist and I do a lot of teaching, on the spot. I did get a government grant recently to teach others, but everyone dropped out of the program!, Your Saturn is in the 2nd, lots of structure is good for you, and in Virgo, occupations will be dependable, others are loyal to you, work history should be stable and the more stable the happier you will be. Swerve, both our rulers are Venus, no wonder you are so romantically inclined (and can be judgemental). Venus is in What, Aquarius? You would make a good writer, and it's the 2nd, a partner, structure, the arts, films? Grants? A large organization? My Venus is Aries, so I prefer smaller companies, and in the 5th, I need to be creative, Actually I realized my cusp is closer to the 5th, so my ruler is Aries/5th house, at least this is the opinion of other astrologers. I don't feel very 5th house though, with Saturn there. That accounts for the government grants, and stability that I do look for, it bothers me that I can't "do it" all on my own sometimes, so I look for larger partners, organizations. Teaching would be cool someday, but I need to produce more for myself. My goal is to open my own gallery someday, stocked with artwork and books written by my friends, as I attract a lot of writers. Hopefully with a partner or organization so the overhead isn't all mine. It can take a lifetime to build that, but it's very possible. Natasha - Thanks for answering myy incessant questions on these threads. Judgemental huh? I can accept that. Would stand by my opinions though as I know my intentions are always with others in mind ultimately. When you say Venus is our ruler do you mean the whole chart or with this particular thread in mind? I thought my chart ruler was Pluto from my Scorpio Ascendant, but then I don't really know my elbow from my bum on this really. Swerve IP: Logged |

Well, they are both fleshy and creased. they bend and can hold things within their depths. ( oh, sorry, that sounded gross) I meant the cleft.....
PLus, I'll bet if you took a really close picture of each, the two would be of virtually undeterminable origin.
I'm just saying......
It's good to know your elbow and your bum, but sometimes it doesn't matter who posts the pictures on the internet.

Swerve, your sixth house ruler is Venus, like mine. So your overall work would always be Venusian, more structured in Taurus than in Libra-less in need of a partner, but yes others in mind. Others depend on you, that's clear,I don't even know you and I trust you,
and you are a bit bossy,
probably loyal to a fault at work,

How can you say that I'm bossy! I demand that you take that back!!  OK, duly noted. Something to work on.... I find being honest very easy as I have nothing whatsoever to hide. I find liars tiresome, petty, weak and pathetic. Guess thats why I try to cut through the boll ox and get to whats real, underneath the "delusional real" and "convenient real" a lot of people cling to. Hmmm....perhaps arrogance is a problem too...

Arrogance a problem..you think? I know we are blessed among mortals but not everyone sees us that way:> sometimes you have to just let those weak people be themselves, be soft, not cynical, not bitter, accepting, when I find myself becoming hard, I get hard on myself too, so I try to remember everyone is the same underneath and I want others to accept me, even when I am weak,I say that sometimes too, I hate weak people, but it's not true, it's a hard moment only, Be humble, be grateful, and expect the best and you will get it,
rather than demanding it.
That is working for me these days, somebody offered to take me on a cruise to France the other week, I am grateful even if I don't go, because anyone would be. Giving is okay, it doesn't lead to dependency. Natasha

Hi all! this is interesting- Natasha. But please help. 6th house cusp: Scorpio
Scorpio ruled by Pluto,
Pluto is conjunct Mars. Is there any significance with this? Natal Pluto/Mars are in Libra 4th house. As far as natal planets I have Sag neptune in the 6th. Does this mean I am passionate about Neptune related matters or Pluto? Still learning the linkage here. Thanks! IP: Logged |

Hello Lovely, that would give you a way with people, are you especially charming? It sounds like it! the example I gave above of the Scorpio who gives botox, has Neptune in her 6th, so I would say Neptune matters affect you, I wonder if you are a mother, or find mothering or taking care of small animals therapeutic?Natasha

Well I still cant figure this.
My Saturn is in Aqua in the 6th along w. Aqua sun and also venus and mars in cappy.So I think it means I also have a stellium there in House 6.

great assessment as far as mercury in cap in the 6th house / saturn in virgo in second house. you know, i feel like I've been working forever. I don't know what i would do with myself if i didn't work, not to mention, the high i get from it.sthenri, you just come off as a teacher, to me - the subjects you bring up for discussion, the way you address others - there seems to be an air of patience and understanding from you - that you also learn while others learn, which allows comfort to be one of the reasons you could probably ask/bring up just about anything and get answers/responses from a variety of individuals. there is definitely potential for a comfortable/beneficial flow of give and take with you in the teaching realm / i think you would be a favorite amongst the students. Natasha, oh yes of course I'm espeeeeeeecially charming-- must be the Libra? Ok yes I am a mother and adore animals but- what are small animals?
cats/ dogs or hamsters/ gerbils or spiders/crickets  . Anyway, taking care of animals, children and my spouse IS very therapeutic, yet I also tend to want to escape from these responsibilities *Neptune*? I need many blocks of free time or i get resentful & negative. I'm definately a high-needs mother. Thanks for your time. You're good. Noticing my charm and all PS. How is the recovery coming along. I have Aquarius on 6th house cusp,and so Uranus is the 6th house ruler. Uranus is in Libra in 2nd house,and it is my oriental planet and unaspected. It trines Midheaven in Gemini. It also disposits my Mars in Aquarius in 6th, I worked in telecommunications when I was in the navy. I feel that it's all ideal for being an astrologer and alternative health practitioner. I am trained in massage therapy.another interesting thing is that my descending Uranus planetary Node conjuncts my IC/oppose Midheaven within 1 degree orb. That could be good for astrology too. My sixth house cusp is in Aquarius, my Uranus is in Capricorn in the 4th house, and I have Vertex and Moon in the 6th house with no aspect to each other. So whats my passion?------------------
