I'm getting really down on myself on account of this 1st house moon placement. Does anyone know how to deal with this? How to establish an identity, a voice of one's own?

Thx Natasha .. my bf's 1st house, I'm 8th house. So that's a good thing then? HSC you already have a voice of your own. It's just a very emotional voice IP: Logged |

Thanks for the encouraging input gals. One of the hardest things to deal with is the 1st house mooner's tendency to carry on a constant internal dialogue, and to freely communicate (or externalize) the slightest doubt or notion that comes to mind. It reminds me of something Lisa Simpson said: "Don't you ever think anything you don't say?" No, no, I don't. And, naturally, due to my inherent changeability, these doubts and notions are constantly being contradicted (hence the dialogue). Maybe women can understand better than men, most of whom promptly try to foist their own hastily formed convictions on anyone who exhibits a relatively indeterminate (i.e. emotionally determined) mind, and quickly lose patience with you if you consistently agree with them one moment, only to disagree the next. I take (self-satisfied) comfort in the words of Friedrich Nietzsche: "Egoism is the very essence of a noble soul." IP: Logged |

arieschick, yes it's a good thing, of course the 1st house moon has to be careful not to control or manage the 8th house moon too much.1st house moons are truly noble, caring people who struggle with themselves, are honest to a fault, love animals and children, and give of themselves. This kind of moon has emotions that are very accessible, it's beautiful for any kind of emotional support, music, art, film creation. Chances are anything you do creates harmony for other people. Don't ask me why this works better than say a 2nd house moon for me. For some reason the 2nd house and 7th house moons seem to create a backdrop of disharmony, they send out emotional problems to me. First house moons say to me, come and let me take care of you, it's very supportive. No matter what you do, people trust and respect you, so it's a good placement. Hard at first but much easier, not much fear. Natasha Taurus Cancer/8th

I have a 1st House Moon, by Placidus--which I go by. Yes, I'm very supportive. I tend to be nurturing in my relationships...except I have trouble getting my needs met because I adopt the role of listener and supporter. I don't really have anyone that just calls to see how I am....or just listens to me. They call when they are troubled and need someone to listen. I'm very emotional...kind of on a yo yo IP: Logged | |
