Hi,Temperance, you mentioned this example of a sun-venus double whammy in synastry where the two people involved didnt get on at all. That's really strange. Maybe other aspects which would explain that? I'm really curious about people's experience with sun conjunct venus in synastry.I always thought that it's quite a powerful aspect, especially when it is the man's venus and the woman's sun. Although I do get confused, whether it is the sun or the venus who feels the attraction more strongly. What's your experience with sun-venus in synastry - who's feeling what? IP: Logged |

Gawd, Ive just had an experience with a new neighbor of mine [male] ran the charts and turns out my venus is conj his sun [less than 1 deg]. tell me its not true -- he is the most boring and absurd person I have ever been around. Its much more fun for someone's Venus to be conj my Sun. Their Sun and my Venus is very much touch-and-go -- most of em Im not too fond of [the men anyway].IP: Logged |

I know two aquarians that i share this aspect with ones a quiet private 12th house sun aquarian the other is a 7th house aqua. The 7th house aqua gal i met at my first job, she was such a flirt and tease around me, she was great to work with. We talked alot and conected, funny because we never argued with each other. Being the gemini that i am i've argued and cracked wits with other people here but not with her, she was always happy to be around me, even if i was or if she was upset we just couldn't yell at each other. Lots of harmony Its been two years since I last heard from her then, i bumped into her and she's exactly were i left off. The 12th house one I'm sorta chasing right now. She's a vary private person, Life has been rought for her and always has been. The only problem i find is i have to give her some space and non invade it. As well she gets ****** if i play "babysiter" to her. But she knows i mean no harm and mean to help her. I just have to not invade and take it far were i end up retricting her. She use to rally resist me, but not so much now she's opened up with me a bit. With aqua gals its all about time and i'm gowing for the long term. IP: Logged |

Stalliums are considered as collection of conjunct energies. Will a Composite stallium including both sun and venus individually outside the normal conjunction orbs be considered as conjunct.IP: Logged |

I have this aspect in my composite chart and I just copy for you here....Moon Conjunct Venus The conjunction of composite Moon and composite Venus is a most positive aspect for any personal relationship. It indicates a strong feeling of love between you that you will express openly. The relationship may even have something of a dreamy quality, as if it were too beautiful to be true. The basic inner strength of this relationship should be great enough to overcome all but the worst problems. In general, this is one of the most positive and useful aspects that a composite chart can have for a successful personal relationship.

how important do you feel the house placements of sun and venus are in a composite chart? For instance would you think that with sun and venus in the 9th house, it would really tend to be a platonic relationship or do you think the loving sun-venus conjunction is more dominant. Also, if indeed the composite chart points to a less romantic/sexual attraction, do you think strong chemistry in the synastry chart would outweigh the lack of chemistry in the composite chart? What's your experience with composite charts? Have you ever had a strong attraction with someone where the composite chart says otherwise? Many thanks!!IP: Logged |

How about the orbit for the composite chart? I know that in synastry, they say a max of an orbit of 3 degree, while in netal, you can have up to 10 degree when it is a conjunction and which involves the sun or the moon. What orbit we should use for composite? in Astro.com, they seem to included aspects within 7 and 8 degrees.IP: Logged |

My boyfriend and I have a Sun-Venus conjunction in our composite in the 2nd house. In our case, I certainly agree with the interpretation of this aspect as signifying pure love. I unconditionally love him and want him to get all the joy he can out of life and make his mark on the world. I'm so thankful to have him in my life, and if we were to break up I know he's somebody who I would always want in my life as a friend. And things haven't always been smooth sailing -- we've each driven the other crazy with anger and heartache, but ultimately we always forgive one another. Forgiveness is an essential part of love and I think this aspect helps provide that because of how it gives a true appreciation and affection for one another.annaf - I'm not sure if house placement affects the way the parties love on another. My boyfriend and I have it in our 2nd house. We definitely have a very physical, sensual, and devoted relationship. At times a bit possessive but nothing dysfunctional, thankfully! So the house placement would fit our type of relationship, but it could be the other sexual/romantic aspects we have causing that. I think a sun-venus conjunction is a blessing wherever it lands, but since it doesn't necessarily mean erotic love, I would think you would need those type of aspects in synastry or in the conjunction's house placement for those types of feelings to be present. My boyfriend and I have sun conj. venus in the 11th house (along with venus conj. mars in the 11th house). Loving him? Easy. First and foremost we are friends. It's easy to hang out with him because we get along so well. Sure, we've got other stuff in our charts (we butt heads as well), but the underlying root in our relationship is that we are friends--friends who love each other and want nothing more than the other to be happy. He ain't bad in the sack either. LOLIP: Logged |

What do you think about the composite Sun conjunct his Venus and composite Venus conjunct her Sun? (at about 4-5 degree each of them)Also in the composite map the Sun and Mercury (are also conjunct) are trine Mars, sextile Moon and square Saturn. And Venus conjunct Jupiter, trine Saturn and square Mars. My Sun is touching our composite Venus ... and I completly adore him!!!! I wish to know if are reciproc feelings. Does anyone have similar aspects? IP: Logged |

i have this with my momwe are always arguing but can never be apart for long, it is intense but troubled love i think this describes the feeling well: If the relationship is laden with conflicts, even a strong feeling of love between you may turn to hatred. In most cases, however, this will be a very fine personal relationship. It does not primarily indicate a sexual relationship; instead it signifies love, pure and simple. The attraction indicated by this aspect is so powerful that it can bring together people who are incompatible by ordinary criteria. wonder if any of u have had this kind of love hate thing with this aspect as well IP: Logged |

My boyfriend and I have Sun conjunct Venus in the 10th in BOTH the Midpoint & Davison Composite charts. We also have Sun conjunct Venus double whammies in synastry. We're not at the "I love you" stage yet, but we're getting there. We both came out miserable pseudo relationships, so we both want to be sure about our love instead of jumping the gun like in our last relationships. IP: Logged |

Awww, I have this with my papi It's so funny, we were in love within the first week, it's been almost five months and we often talk about marriage, although there isn't any rush we just know. He's so sweet, but now a push over. Intelligent, young enough that he can teach me young people swag (LoL) and honest (even when he knows I will be ****** ) and he KNOWS me (which is all I ever asked for) he makes me laugh and he is SOOO corny sometimes (but I love it, because so am I) He makes me so happy. I think maybe the placement intensified it. IP: Logged |

The Sun/Venus in synastry and composite feels really platonic to me. There's lots of love, but in a friendly, 'I love hanging out with you' kinda way, and like the other posters above said, we really don't seem to argue/get angry with each other. There's genuine admiration. I've never found it romantic though.IP: Logged |

I have this aspect in the composite with my twinsoul and it feels beautiful. Its exactly what others have described- a feeling of pure love and affection.I usually tend to get impatient and upset easily but with this guy I overlook most of his shortcomings.I think the love we feel overpowers everything else.IP: Logged |

The two loves of my life so far I looked at the composite and they both had Sun, Mercury and Venus all conjunct.I have composite Sun/Venus conj with a few girlfriends also and it is a very powerful bond over many years. Happy & uplifting w/ a strong feeling of "rightness." Next runner up would be composite Moon/Venus & Venus/Jupiter. (I've had composite Sun/Moon/Merc conj before with a few men and though very absorbing, didn't necessarily work out.) I wonder if what you're drawn to in composite is something that your own chart doesn't have - I already have moon/venus and sun/pluto conj in my natal and I find that tho I might have friends with this type composite, it doesn't usually end up being romantic or someone I could be w/ day to day - at least w/out Venus being included. Maybe I need the relationship composite to bring something new to me? IP: Logged |
