Topic: Anyone with Mercury conjunct Venus?

Mercury conjunct Venus in Capricorn.I find the open and friendly description does not fit me. I am nice, but I won't go out of my way to talk to a stranger on the street. The way I see it, for me, the conjunction gives me an inclination towards peace and quiet and intolerance of stressful atmospheres. IP: Logged |

Mercury in the fourth house scorpio conjunct Venus in the fifth house sagittarius.I'm passionate about writing fiction that has layers and layers of meaning, but I never finish a story I don't enjoy making. IP: Logged |

Hey, so do I! Did you grow up being a mischievous know-it-all and get in trouble a lot? Someone said those with Merc-Ven conjunct have pretty handwriting. It's actually true... I was always asked to write notes for the class because I pretty and readable handwriting. The truth of the matter is, I was born left handed and when I was starting to learn to write at 4 yrs old, my parents asked my teachers to switch me. My handwriting was wonky for a long time and my parents sent me to practice penmanship and learn calligraphy which made my handwriting extremely meticulous and beautiful. These days, I don't care about it much so it ends up looking like chicken scratch. IP: Logged |

Especially, an inclination and attraction towards the arts. I have always been drawn toward art, and creative outlets, and truly value thinking differently (outside of societal constraints). I think this aspect also makes me able to empathize with many people, and see many sides of a given issue. I would say I am a very passionate person, speaker, writer but may not come across that way to others. Probably come across as rather shy at first.
I don't think and try not to value physical beauty, actually, it's something that really ****** me off-- how much emphasis people unknowingly place on appearance socially. Fact of life, but I guess this idea of fairness is big with me, maybe that is due to this aspect? I have Mercury Conjunct Venus in 10th house (Aries Mercury, Pisces Venus). IP: Logged |

I feel that way also, about tending to go towards peaceful/ quiet atmospheres. I feel easily overwhelmed by, to the point where it may physically manifest, by intense personalities, or those who thrive on drama.
