Acoustic God ~ This is an awsome thread!! I am not, however, very musically inclined.... Love to sing but, when it's on it's purely luck, not skill. I do have the talents of my Love, though so, I am going to have him check this out tonight.... very cool idea, Acoustic! ~ geminstone IP: Logged |

Don't know much about the notes (haven't played music...since I was in grade 8)This is how my family sounds when we're all together: Dad Sag G#/Ab Mom Taurus C#/Db Me Aqua A#/Bb Bro Libra F#/Gb Sis Gem D Sis Virgo F Sis Scorp G Bro Virgo F I know we're a pretty noisy dissonant bunch. But how would this sound? IP: Logged |

The first four make a pretty nice sound together. The chord of these four would be F#9. Without your dad it would be a regular F# major chord. (Major chords always sound harmonius)Your mom with the two Virgos plus your dad make a C# major chord. The Scorp sis seems like the oddball, but she can be made beautiful by adding the Gemini, and throwing in the Libra would sound good as well. The notes G and D make a G major chord (missing a notes), and with the Libra addition the chord becomes either Dsus4 or Gmaj7 both of which are beautiful. IP: Logged |

Thanks AG That's really kewl!! There really is a ton of meaning behind how the notes sound harmonious together...eg. 1st 4 sound good together. And my sweet Scorp sis is really the odd ball. I should really spend more time with her..well I know I will this summer, so maybe she will open up a bit!!! There's soo much more I could go into with the notes and the interplay of my family. I'd need to learn more of the notes, etc. Maybe I should get someone to play this for me. IP: Logged |

hi guys, i read the title of this thread and a few days later i tried something cool. i know the classical do re mi fa so la ti do... style of piano and it sounds like you guys are talking guitar so im a bit confused especially since i dont even remember what the black keys are called...ANYWAY, i put aries on DO and taurus and MI and so on and so forth, using all 12 keys including the (unknown to me) black keys... and its SHOCKINGLY accurate in this sense... i play cancer (im july 18) with all of the other notes (cancer is the second black one) and it makes a meloncholy sound with EVERY single other note when played together! certainly the sound to my ear matches pretty well how i get on with the other signs. one thing that was noticed was how nice cancer and aquarius sound together, its not a commonly thought of popular combo of signs, also libra and cancer sounded good and cancer and scorpio! if you have a piano i'd say its worth the try! Interesting! I understand that musical notes also correspond to the chakras and the chakras also correspond to astrological signs/ tree of life, etc. Does anyone know what these are?IP: Logged |

I don't play any instruments (I do have a guitar that's waiting for me to learn, though!) But this sounds cool. I have some musically inclined friends who might be able to play some chords for me. IP: Logged |

Intresting,is it just me or does this tune sound incomplete.? gemini, cancer, cancer, capircorn. Mom and dad=Cancer Me=gemini Sister= Capircorn also did anyone notice the sound gemini and aquarious produce?. The two keys aren't smooth until a third sign or key is joined into the meolody?. that is to say almost any key or sign is added to the melody makes it sound smooth. So i guess that can be true in a sense since, i've found that gem's and aqua can get along, but things aren't always smooth, unless another sign helps gemini and aquarious out. or another sigh helps the gem and the aqua move forward. Try throwing a Virgo into the Aqua/Gem situation. IP: Logged |
