I am very perspicacious when doing my interest, well about you saying talking has got you into alot of trouble that part i am not too sure but i think 12th house people has 2 sides to themselves which they usually hide the better side and/but show their other side which puts them at disadvantages they got to embrace their other side and show it out more..
What I find about 12 house planets near the ascending degree is they cause more trouble than they would if they were conjunct from the first house. The conjunction means I can undo things by what I say, especially if I mumble, which I sometimes do, if I am too blunt, which I sometimes am, or if I say something about someone else they don't like. It's the self-undoing element in house 12. With house 1 things might run differently and fate would allow me to get away with a bit more, perhaps? I can only conjecture at this point since I don't have anything officially in house 1 in natal (though they do progress, I realize.) 12 house Mercury is sooooo good for experiencing fully a movie or book, though. Music, too. You can get right in there and live it, then talk and write about it later, even be inspired by it. Helps so much with studying. IP: Logged |

True, i read somewhere they said 12th housers usually would do well for their career as a writer. My chart ruler is mercury and the ruler of my sun is mercury too which strengthen the power of the sun(gemini) in my chart. My Sun and Mercury both in gemini conjunct in the 12 house. I can totally feel what you are saying lol, and i love reading. ------------------ Just a water monkey(hour ruled by the dragon), gemini guy IP: Logged |

My b/f's Mercury falls in my 12th house. Our communication is weird. The synastry description of this placement fits us real well, and when I brought it up to my b/f he said "Yes, that makes perfect sense"Finding this has helped us understand each other a little better, he realizes that I'm NOT that secretive, just have trouble finding the words sometimes. Yeah, probably because at that moment he was showing his 12th house(hidden) side.. ------------------ Just a water monkey(hour ruled by the dragon), gemini guy IP: Logged |

My Mercury is at 29 degrees Virgo in my 12th house. I definitely find that I worry (haha) about my paranoia. My grandmother suffered from paranoid schizophrenia, so it's a constant cloud over my psychological wellbeing that it's something I could eventually develop. I am really intuitive, and I often know how a person will react to something I said and can read people's body language well. This leads me to wondering whether I am just being paranoid or being intuitive!IP: Logged |

Both, intuitive to the point of being paranoid/irrational but its a good thing because most of the time we would somehow already know what the person is trying to imply before he/she finishes lol. ------------------ Just a water monkey(hour ruled by the dragon), gemini guy IP: Logged |

Exactly! I also find that like someone stated earlier, my mind works so much faster than I can communicate at times. I feel like I can come off rather ditzy (often making me choose to remain quiet) because I stutter when I can't keep up verbally with my train of thought. I have ADD, too, not sure if that relates!

Beautiful article!! I have Mercury in the 12th and I'm just... shocked at how much I relate to every sentence. The 12th house makes it so hard for me to express myself - at least, not the way I want to. I read people's posts or listen to them talk and I can only wish I was half as good at conveying things as they are! I can come up with the biggest and wonderful ideas and visualise it (Neptune-influence?) down to the details, but it just never comes out the way I intended. Often, I don't dare to give my input out of fear of making myself look like an idiot or being made fun of for not knowing as much as everyone else. I prefer to study or think about bigger issues in private. Cool, quiet places are perfect for me. Nature is one of the few things that can really clear my mind. The "learning through introspection" was spot-on. I've only started figuring myself out a couple of years ago and astrology has helped me so, so much. I mostly use it for that. Negative thinking has certainly hurt me a lot more than it protected me. The weirdest thing is my dreams, they're really really vivid. Like as if I'm watching a film; I remember the dialogue and tiny details when I wake up. These dreams often inspire me for my creative writing. I just get all of these images and I have to write them out. Anyone else a visual person here? Oh, and I love how so many people here seem to like writing. It's one of my biggest passions and I love language. IP: Logged |

Exactly! (EDIT: ha, i didn't even realize you'd said exactly like that as well) I get overwhelmed when people pay 100% attention to exactly what I'm saying because I feel like there's so much pressure to get out what I actually mean that I end up only saying 1/4 of what i mean and it comes out making me sound like an idiot. I'm pretty sure I have mild ADD as well. IP: Logged |

Wow, quite a couple of people here who have ADD (or suspect they do). Same here, only ADHD with the hyperactivity. I guess Mercury in the 12th has some of those traits, especially the constantly getting lost in thought. IP: Logged |

so weird to read this now, after 2 years, i was very shy indeed, now i simply dont care anymore. ”However, if Mercury is not too badly aspected, there are psychic abilities, a vivid imagination and access to the accumulated wisdm of the past.” this is so true, most of the times i just know stuff IP: Logged |
