Aries chick...you said:" the person is constantly seeking attention by acting like they constantly have major life dramas that they don't actually have, whinging and whinning and basically just overdoing it..it makes me feel bad for one, because I can't help them..nomatter what I say they'll be back with the same old prob tomorrow ..because it's like they WANT to have a prob..and for two it does get a bit annoying prolly only a 3 on the scale though (because usually if it gets to that point with someone I'll distance myself and its not something that would really affect me) But that's only when someone's being really over the top sensitive, it drains me..
That being said if someone's just a sensitive
person and doesn't drag other ppl into it by creating a drama.. that wouldn't annoy me at all..like someone crying at finding nemo lol honestly that wouldn't annoy me..because that's just the way they are and I take ppl at face value as long as they don't actually DO something (on purpose) that affects me in a negative way.."
I TOTALLY agree!!!!
I love compassionate, sensitive people, but PLEASE save me the forever long pity-party or negative, black-cloud causing drama. I have had several friends (and their sign is not important) that just loved the attention of always have drama in their lives or just plain complaining about everything... I just felt like... well, like they became a down-jacked in August in Texas...just ewwwwwwwwwwwww and stifling.
What bothers me more than someone that is Way TOO sensitive (and I am not talking about loving people that pick up on others emotions or cry during movies) are NEUROTIC people.
OMG.... people that have to spaz over the smallest detail, especially at work. They end up in this useless frenzy, thinking everyone out to get them and they are paralyzed by their own delusions. I work with a brilliant, yet neurotic professional that just can't take things as they come. She wigged out over a meeting that was cancelled for today and moved to Wednesday. As soon as I came in she said
"Oh my...oh my...do you think the meeting is really canceled? I am not sure...because...well, it is on my schedule..and if I drive out to Phoenix and we have a meeting... I could get fired.. and I need this job..." on and on...
I said "hey...she moved it back which means we aren't having it today. NO ONE is planning on going to a 1pm meeting today as it was MOVED BACK" LOL..
so she says "But..what if our director cancels her other meetings today and WANTS to have this meeting still at 1pm?"
I said "Then I will tell her that you needed to get out to PHX today since it is a 4 hour drive and you have training in the am."
I have a problem with that kind of neurosis (like obsessive compulsives) because my mom is somewhat like that.
But... we all have our issues and we all have our problems. The trick is to live with them and accept other people - especially in the work place. LIke my dad said "You don't have to like everyone you work with or go to school with, but have respect for them as people"
