LL is degrading! everyone discusses personal problems rather than astrology. and i have contributed to this degradation with some of my own threads (eg, one on my aunt). i think the solution to to start a new forum specifically for personal problems. ...just my opinion.

agree !but hope it doesn't include threads like " infatuation with a libra girl" ,(just an exp.)b'cos though these threads have a personal context and less of astro , they are very much eligilble queries , i believe ! ( just to put a clarification ) agree with u absolutely though.

I think once everyone comes to the realization that this site is as much a cybersorority as it is an astro forum, everything will be just peachy. IP: Logged |

The arguments are cyclical, which is actually in and of itself good evidence of astrology in action, wouldn't you say? ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

Archer : I understand your concern. What would you really like to discuss ? Why don't you post something what you would like to see on this board ? I just went their and found it kind of useful.Apart from that free astrology course is also great on Linda's to discuss detail Astrology.I think there are teachers also to help. IP: Logged |

Would you consider putting the forums in a different order on the forum main page? If you ordered the forums by highest number of posts per forum then the most active forums would be at the top.IP: Logged |

But... Astrology is life's personality!!!! Or something like that. Archer, there has ALWAYS been threads of a pesonal nature. Linda always wrote things in a personal friendship way as well.I'm sure you can find an Astrology website devoid of personal examples if you prefer that. Uncomfortable? IP: Logged |

How about we open a forum called "The Ring" or "Over Time" for peeps who like to fight And I think if we put the forum in order of most active to least active...the least active ones at the bottom will be neglected. IP: Logged |

you know how boring this website would become if no one ever discussed personal problems/situations/etc...it brings us more closer, and helps us understand people under certain signs, etc...degrading? how is sharing our stories degrading?....anyways..IP: Logged |

Um, Pixie had a lot more Posts than that actually; her Username got deleted by glitch. She did that many in a little over a month.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. well sue-g, egrade may not me such a riht word. but the other day i was discussing with VTT over yahoo that while its ok to have personal posts, the perspective should be astrology. i just feel that there should be other forum for personal problems. what is there is one with the name "personal discussions"? we can post our problems there (i have the too) and dedicated people can visit there and answer. the forum astrology should be for indepth discussion of astrology like "Free Astrology Course" has become. just that people are slow in FAC. Archer,There are other astrology sites already available that are devoted to serious astrology only. One of the most popular is AstroLife at Yahoo!: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AstroLife/ However, the Linda Goodman astrology site has its own personality and style which it has evolved and which works best for the people who post here. Perhaps you could post your serious astrology questions at AstroLife and come back to the Linda Goodman site when you are feeling in a more chatty mood! Suggesting, Tim IP: Logged |

I agree with Saturn, LL is what it is Archer, I happen to think the openness here is fab and no one is stopping you from talking about Astrology, just ignore the personal stuff if it offends!Love to all Sue xx IP: Logged |

yep.. I would advise you as WilsonTC has Archer. There are several online astrology sites that DO NOT allow ANYTHING personal at all. Try www.nodeorama.com - if you place anything personal the moderator will close the thread and if you keep up the infractions you will get banned. Have fun IP: Logged |

Its not like Astrolgy is not being discussed at all. Its just being mixed up here. I think Archer is saying this bc of all of the hoopla that has been going on. I know Archer I wish I had a solution to,to weed out all the negativety so that it ends up in one pile.. But that is not how it is working over here...IP: Logged |
