... sheesh! I wish I had time to be lazy Although, when I am in a slump... I do a lot of sitting around and thinking. I kinda go off into my own little world to figure things out. Prolly looks lazy to others, but I actually have a lot going on... its just all mental.

Well.... dunno about laziest.. but I do find most scorpios to be very hardworking and diligent. They wont stop till the work is thoroughly and satisfactorily completed.

I've seen the following described as a "weak" Mars -

* Aquarius
* Pisces
* Gemini
* Cancer
* Libra
* Sagittarius

Of them all, Aqua, Gemini and Sag probably have the best chance of channeling their energy positively and without hesitation. But they risk becoming scattered and not completing projects. Some are not a matter of being scattered, but sort of lacking in motivation, although they may dream big or have good intentions.

So far I tend to think that hooking up with a Mars which is Conjunct, Trine or Sextile to yours works best. Or else it feels like an endless war of wills.

Aqua Mars isn't a weak mars, just a peregrine or "lost" one. It lacks focus, but not desire, drive or energy - it just needs to get focused, and then it's as combative, pushy and obnoxious as any Aries Mars. I know, because I have Aqua Mars, and I *can* be combative, pushy and obnoxious when the "vibe" is right. Honestly, Aqua Martians tend to think we're smarter than everyone, so much so, we often don't feel the need to prove it, like Aries Martians would. Actually, people with this placement (like me) tend to have a lot of intiative, as long as we see the rational point in doing something (afterall, what do we need to prove? We're f'ing geniuses!). That's the kicker - if we don't see the point, we can't be pressured to do it, and will sit around glibly and idly, just wasting hours thinking, theorizing, masterminding...but not actually doing anything.

Gemini Mars, like Virgo Mars, is very nervous and easily run down, but it produces the highest levels of energy when in gear. When these Mercurial Mars burn out, they often take a long time to collect themselves and recharge again, and thus give the native the appearence of being lazy or lacking drive. Like Aqua Mars, Gem Mars tends to lack focus and be easily distracted by its own thoughts and ideas, and has a bad habit of making capricious choices without thinking things through, which can need to discouragement and self-doubt. But in the best cases, it can be extremely productive. Some of the busiest and prolific people I've done charts for have this Mars.

Libra Mars, like any air Mars, consistantly plays with ideas and loves to bast in the brilliance of its own intellect too, but its indescivieness is its biggest foil. It hates to act before it's made a desicion, which for Libra is somewhere around three weeks past due of never. In some cases, Libra Mars intentionally waffles, pondering every minute option and fussing over vast heaps of irrelevent data, just to avoid taking definite action - and that kind of intentional avoidance of action could be called laziness.

Cancer Mars is weird. It likes waffle an awful lot like a Libra Mars, but it's not so much as lazy as insular. Mars energy is outgoing; Cancer isn't. Cancer Mars' energy tend to go in circles within the native, never really being fully or directly expressed in an outward fashion. This results in a lot passive aggression and transference. In some cases this isn't so bad - I've noticed that Cancer Martains are often really good at channeling anger and aggression into healthy, nonconfrontational outlets like exercise and hobbies. In bad cases, the Cancer Martian seems to literally poison themeselves with their own pent-up anger, aggression and Cancerian neediness, and these ones tend to be pretty sick (and often very lazy) puppies.

Many people believe Aquarius to be lazy, and they may appear that way on the material plane, but on the mental plane, omg, they're always cooking up a storm!...Like other air signs!

The more ambitious influences are cap, virgo, scorp, leo....

For instance i'm a sag sun and a libra mars, pretty lazy, but cap rising, moon scorpio, cap merc....I don't like PHYSICAL labor (mars libra), but i like MENTAL labor (merc cap) I like to put my EMOTIONS into my work (moon scorp 10th house) and people PERCEIVE me as hard working (cap rising) even if i'm not.
