Hi there, I was wondering how people have experienced an 8th house overlay of sun and/or venus in synastry. Im extremely attracted to someone whose sun and venus fall in my 8th house. Now Im wondering whether the planet person is likely to feel the 8th house obsession just as muchIP: Logged |

So the 8th house person will definitely feel the attraction, but its not a sure thing with the Sun or Venus person. Yes, thats what Ive read as well. Thats why I would be really really interested in hearing from those of you who happened to be sun or venus in the connection and who experienced a very strong attraction - maybe even before the house person did. I have had this experience...It is wonderful, scary, revealing, and beautiful. The first time that I met this person, I felt as though I was standing naked in front of him. I felt as if he looked right through me. There was an immediate attraction and feeling as if I had known him in a past life. We are really good friends and I would say are pretty close. But being that we are both in other relationships, had to fight the urge to explore it further; although we have said that we would end up together if things ever fell through for both of us. I have never felt such immidiate attraction for someone...  BTW my sun and mars fall in his 8th house, venus in 7th, and uranus in 5th. His sun and merc are in my 11th house, mars in 9th, and venus in 10th..IP: Logged |

Spellbound: Fascinating! It is often referred to that the 8th house person is usually the one who feels this intensity and fatedness. What other STRONG aspects you shared, if I may ask?Nodes? Vertex?? Because this feeling of sensing that someone sees right through you is quite intense! It is often the Moon and PLuto aspects that give this feeling! Where is your and his Pluto?? It is very fascinating..kind of knocked off my feet right onto my butt. My north node is in virgo conjunct his sun and my pluto sits right on top of his IC. His uranus is at the exact degree of my ascendant as well. Our composite chart is equally interesting..considering we have venus/mars taurus conjunction in 8th house and moon/sun conjunction in 9th. The only bad thing is moon/sun opposition to neptune..but hey...who doesn't like illusion? IP: Logged |

Yes.
I had a life altering unfolding connection with someone. It was instant recognition.
My Moon falls in his Eighth house, my Venus in his Seventh. His Vertex is on my Sun ( actually my stellium in the fourth house)His IC and My Ascendant are exactly the same degree/sign/house. Our chart overlay completes a Grand Trine between Saturn, Venus and Venus, in firesigns. Venus opposed Pluto,
Sun/Moon trine, opposed Suns ( not by degree)
Interesting that more quintiles showed up than I'd ever seen.. and those are creative/support indications.. which I felt immediately.
