This is not to say ignore money, but the way you described his situation, he's neither on minimum wage nor battling something financially draining like a drug addiction or gambling problem. So it's probably just the comparison to the big earner that makes him look less glamorous.

He also doesnt sound as if he's close to his retirement age, so his professional life isnt all over just yet. I'm sure that with the right partner at his side, he'd actually be motivated to aim higher, try to be a bit more ambitious with his life goals. And who knows how his career might still develop in the future. After all, who knows whether Bill Clinton would have had the drive to aim for the stars if he hadnt met Hillary at university.

Anyway, probably all my 7th house influence that makes me believe in the power of partnerships so much....

What would be the balance tipper for me would be personality + ambition vs. money or love.

What's the use of love if the guy is completely ambitionless? What's the use of money if the guy has no personality and is very lazy?

i can't be with a ghost/imaginary friend either - wealthy mean are hardly ever home, that's vacation. I like constantly thinking up ideas. having somebody who doesn't knock my ideas down like a bag of sh*t, would be nice in a situation like that. i have to have someone to talk to about stuff like that.

i want a nice home - aura from both parties is important - i don't care if it's in a castle or in the train station.

we can't be eating ramen noddles - picture we in love, living in an alley way, keeping warm and eating ramen noddles every daggone day. i mean, it's possible, i seen it and all but...........i gotta disassociate from it all except for each other, for that one and now that i think about it, that's sort of relieving.

i don't know - i can't help it, that's why i'm single now. i'm not financially sound right now everybody, i wanna be in love but i keep looking at how to get more than what i have now - so i put the interaction with rich dude or poor dude on hold - i can't even stand to hear their voice right now. :maniac:

i can't be with a rich dude right now because i'll probably get those moments of insecurity like - i gotta make some money/get a career. what am i doing?!?! - i'm smart dammit, i can contribute too. either that or wrestlemania got to go down every so often. or he just got to be a straightforward, point blank person - not a yes, honey one and tell me why he doesn't agree or does - not a, i'm boss, we do what i say..

i don't mind being with somebody who doesn't have a lot of money, probably not a stable career, for love but those the type that got a few lovers. they love us all. i'm not going to get that caught up. friends with benefits but people grow apart. love or no love.
