BTW, with a bowl or locamotive chart, you start in the empty space and the chart and go counterclockwise - the first plaent you come to is the lead planet. If yours was a locamotive chart, it'd be Saturn, but yours is clearly a funnel, because there's a lone planet in one half of the chart, seperated by at least one empty house from the other planets.

How do I have only one planet in half the chart? :? Any way you divide it, I've got at least three. :?

West - Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus

East - Jupiter, Pluto, Moon

North - Pluto, Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Mars, Venus

South - Sun, Mercury, Jupiter

Nove, yes, only half - from 17 Scorp to 13 Taurus, where you have 9 planets, is within 180 degrees, so that's only half the chart. It doesn't just count if it's within the angles - even if only by degree, it's still just half. That mean there's a whole other 180 degrees of your chart that's just populated by one planet, which is also isolated by at least one empty house from the rest of planets. There's only one chart shape that meets that criteria: funnel.

Both of these come from http://www.arlenekramer.com/astrology2.asp .

quote:
THE BUCKET chart may look like a bowl but there is one planet in the other half of the circle. The nine planets may be anywhere within a grouping of 120 to 180 degrees. The planet in opposition starts to look like the HANDLE to the bucket, and takes on great importance. The handle planet must be at least 60 degrees from the nearest planet. The BUCKET person sometimes has a missionary zeal, and moves people as a teacher, or leader, or agitator.

Jupiter is only 51 degrees away from Mercury. Not quite far away enough to be a "funnel" chart.

quote:
THE LOCOMOTIVE has a look all its own. While the BUNDLE has all its planets within 120 degrees, the LOCOMOTIVE has all the planets evenly distributed EXCEPT for an empty 120 degrees. With a little stretch of the imagination, you can see the driving wheel of a locomotive in the planetary distribution. The personality that goes with the LOCOMOTIVE is one of great drive and executive ability. This person will not miss an opportunity to succeed.

Jupiter is 133 degrees away from Pluto. Which is too far for a "locamotive" chart.

So mine is a mutt, I guess.

Nove... I would have never known my chart was a locamotive... Tim Wilson's website has great info on this too...

Locamotive:
-All planets within 240' (max 250)
-no more than 2 houses or 60'empty within the occupied area
-and with a trine bridging the unoccupied area

My engine is Neptune -Scorpio 10th
