Oh my god, Zala. I've Capricorn North node, thank you so much for typing this stuff out!

This stuff is right on target, I've a reallly deep fear of rejection and keep on looking back on the past and so many emotional problems. But I'll try to take charge more.

Also by the way, I've an idol. I think Oprah Winfrey has a Cap NN in first house, just like me .. so I look up to her. I think she symbolizes a good leader, she has compassion but can take charge, ya know?

But thanks muchly for this. It was an eye-opener .

The other day I was going to come here and rant about another slight that happened at work, but my Mutable mind got distracted and I didn't.

Imagine my surprise today when I get the Employee of the Month award. It was completely unexpected. I mean, just the other day my Aries boss was telling me, "I hope you're working." I don't understand these people. I do kind of deserve the recognition, though. I'm probably the best prepared person at my company. I've got the best system of keeping myself on track and informed of what's going on. Plus I'm so fast at this type of work I often leave myself with nothing to do. My bosses are having to adapt to keep up with me, and I've noticed the blaming stuff on me has fallen off dramatically.

I actually also have Jan Spiller's book and while I don't have NN in Cap., I do have it in the 10th house and while I still need to read more into the chapter, it definitely resonates with me. Some of you have mentioned about the insecurity and practicing taking charge of your own life, which is what I still go through and learn about continuously. It's hard at times to do--to develop the traits of the NN because you're so used to the South Node and all of the traits there...Will keep trying.

There's a series of books that talk about "Personology" (I believe is the term). Oh...here's a link: http://www.goldschneider.com/books/books.htm

I was looking at the one titled: The Secret Language of Destiny : A Personology Guide to Finding Your Life Purpose. Though I didn't read the introduction, I did see where it mentioned the Nodes, so I'm pretty certain the book is based on the Nodes.

It called the Capricorn North Node the Way of Articulation. It was an interesting take on the subject saying that we're by nature somewhat eccentric and reserved, but at some point we have to latch on to and believe in (Articulate) one of our great ideas, and when we do so we do well. It was interesting, though I didn't end up buying the book.

The one on Relationships was interesting, too. It broke down the signs into four parts: the cusp, and then what are probably the three decanates... though it didn't call them that. The author simply categorized them and gave them new names. I think my girlfriend's was Sagittarius I: The Originator. I am a Capricorn I: The Ruler. The book had an extensive section where you could look up your relationship between your decanate and another person's.
