These themes are 1. A Sun or Leo display and exuberance theme; 2. a Pisces or Neptune theme of blending with a role and fantasy and make-believe; 3. a Mercury or Gemini communication theme - the spoken word; 4. an Aquarius or Uranus humanity theme relating to human life and its activities; 5. there is often also a Venus thread relating to all the arts; 6. there is often a Moon and Cancer thread connected to theme 4 and revolving about human life and the family. First thing that comes to my mind: Moon in 10th - world wide fame (or just fame); Stelium in 5th/8th/10th - same; Libra rising (with Spica on ASC); Neptune in 1st/3rd/5th/9th; Saturn in 10th (gives unbelievable power!); Sun in Leo/Libra/Pisces... WildRose unregistered	posted March 14, 2006 02:47 PM I found out about 8th house stelium just recently. I met a guy who is an actor, very famous in my country, and I, of course, wondered what his chart looks like. I expected to see a stelium in 10th house, or something like that, but what I saw was, like 8 planets in 8th house?!? Than I read a little bit about such a placement, and I actually found somewhere that 8th-house-stelium person should be very popular and publicly recognized, and he certainly is! IP: Logged

Jupiter unregistered	posted March 16, 2006 03:15 PM I have found that a South node in Aquarius and North Node in Leo certainly indicates a life which is meant for creative expression. This is b/c South node Aquarius and North Node leo individuals have had so many past lives of objectivity and staying on the side lines. They have a lot of creative energy stored so North node Leo people are truly meant to release their creative energy in this life. Thus they make excellent actors. They also make excellent actors b/c they do not have strong egos so they can easily blend into other characters. IP: Logged
Jupiter unregistered	posted March 16, 2006 03:20 PM Another sign of an actor in a chart is the Sun/ Neptune- Moon/ Neptune aspects. Usually with a Sun/ Neptune one is gifted in the creative arts. Specifically acting though. This is b/c the Sun/Neptune aspects indicate not only acting abilities but medium abilities. Many phycics and mediums have Sun/ Neptune aspects. And after all if you really think about it actors are mediums- they channel the character they are playing. Another chart significator is Scorpio or 8th house activity. Actors are by nature quite intuitive. With lots of 8th house activity or Scorpio activity there is a huge amount of intuitive ability. Plus Pluto energy has to do with researching and going deep into the pyche like a detective. All good actors must get deep into the role they are playing and connect. The 8th house is all about union and an actor creates a true union with the character they play. IP: Logged

My South Node is in Cancer, and my Moon is in the 5th. With regard to what Jupiter said, my Moon is sextile Neptune, my Sun and Jupiter are in the 8th (Scorpio's) house, and my Mars is in Scorpio. It's interesting that I look into this thread for the first time today, and I also receive an email today from a theater group I've been thinking about taking lessons from. IP: Logged
Lady Macbeth unregistered	posted March 16, 2006 04:17 PM Jupiter - you're absolutely right about those Sun/Neptune and Moon/Neptune contacts. I've got Sun conjunct Neptune (part of a stellium in the 7th) and Moon trine Neptune. It was either be an actor...or a defense attorney...oddly enough, I've played a defense attorney many times... AG - if you're serious about this vocation and can get your self up to SF, I recommend enrolling in the American Conservatory Theatre's program. You'll get a more legitimate theatre education from them than you would at a theatre company, and they have different programs from which to choose like the "Conservatory" which is the most basic, to the "Summer Training Congress" which (I think) is a three month commitment, all the way to their "Advanced Training Program" for those who want to earn their M.F.A. degree. It's been at least 15 years since I was last in a play. That's a good place to know about, though. The one I'm talking about is an improv group out of Oakland, and they offer beginner classes that are on weekends. It's very inexpensive, so it's not a huge investment. IP: Logged

Here are the placements of one of mine favorite actor Alan Rickman. He has sun, venus and mercury in pisces. Sun conjunct venus (he is very handsome and women like him) Also mercury conjunct venus in pisces (I guess that represents his nice voice) He has moon in scorpio -very penetrating eyes. Juoiter and neptune in libra, sign of public image. Unfortunatelly i don't know his ASC, but sometimes i think planet signs can be very good guidance. IP: Logged
jkxx unregistered	posted March 27, 2006 04:13 PM Neptune does seem to play a role in enhancing one's ability to portray themselves in a way inconsistent with their true personality. I have moon and mercury conj neptune (though acting's the last thing on my list of things to try) and it happens over and over with people seeing in me what they want to see whether or not it has anything to do with my real personality.
