I've been doing a lot of information searching on synastry lately. However, I was wondering about the significance of asteroids like Eros, Psyche, Cupido, Amor, Aphrodite etc. in synastry. Are asteroids as important as personal planets? Also, what aspects do you pay attention to - only conjunctions and oppositions or also squares, trines, sextiles, etc.?

How significant would the following aspects be for instance:

Your Eros/Cupido conj/sextile/trine

his Valentine/TrueNode/Ascendant/Moon

His Valentine conj/sextile/trine
your Valentine/TrueNode/Ascendant/Moon

I wont consider Sappho in synastry.

Amor will work but I have not studied it yet.
Possibly Amor aspect True Node or Moon would be very significant.

A girl whom I love very dearly, with her I have these asteroid aspects.

1. Her Eros trines my Psyche
2. Her Valentine conj my True Node
3. Her True Node conj my Valentine
4. Her Amor sextile my Amor
5. Her Aphrodite conj my DNA
6. Her Psyche septile [52 degree aspect indicating creativity] my Eros.
7. Her Aphrodite trines my Cupido/Chiron
8. Her Cupido sextiles my Cupido
9. Her Moon sextile my Amor.

For example, when I have Amor conject Sun of the other guy, I will love him without any condition. I am willing to give and give to him a lot.

I saw when someone has Psyche aspect another person's ASC or Sun, the owner of Psyche would feel "destiny love" with another person.

In Uranian Astrology, we use Cupido a lot especially in solar arc. It is not about love. It is more about "Union". For example, if your own natal chart has venus conjunct progressed cupido, you probably are moving to your couple's home to stay together or you have happy ending at that moment.

Anyway, what is DNA? I am still curious about feeling of Valentine too. Any ideas?

How about Psyche trine Eros but in Composite instead?

I am just wondering why it has to be AFTER marriage?

By the way, I am still curious about meaning of VALENTINE What is specific kind of love effected by this asteroid? Could you please explain since I heard about this one the first one from you........

My guess is that it's easy to be attracted and find joy in the courtship stage, but after marriage, when the veils literally come off, and it's life, it's harder to see the beauty in each other as much when you deal with the not so beautiful spects of daily life together.

About Asteroid Valentine, it resonates to the frequency of Saint Valentine who represents sacrifice for the sake of love.

i've noticed it active in several different relationships where hero worship was evident. significant apollo connections appear to generate unconditional love.

In the CAO Times ephemeris the keywords for this body are: "fixation, intensity, crisis-mastery, exaltation, commitment, challenge." It also says: "The liabilities---especially with conjunctions---are tunnel vision, blind spots, irrational awe, imbalance, obsession." These keys seem to be quite valid, especially the second part.

The Valentine aspects alone are unbelievable; definitely True love and soulmates for sure.

Valentine - ASC - dw. *sighs* How wonderful!

And as if this is not enough Valentine- Moon, VAlentine - Sun.

I really hope that you can be together, because a separation with these aspects must be an unbearable pain.

I just don`t understand why it has to be her ERos and Cupido and not HIs Eros and Cupido,t oo.

However, I had a look at tropical and Draco comparision with someone (just for the reason I dreamed of him last night,w hich took me completely by surprise).

well, you asked me about that guy I posted the aspects.
No, it was not the MUSICMAN. But it was not a real life man either. lol

It was another musical actor, but this one is different (of course they all are ). I have never had a crush on him, I never even wasted a thought on him, and hadn`t it been for the shocking dream I wouldn`t have looked into his chart either.

He comes different across than other musical stars; he lacks that "ethereal" quality that most of them have (especially the gay ones, at least those I know); instead he feels more "earthy" and "real", if you know what I mean (well with Mars-Jupiter-conjunction in Virgo and Venus in Capricorn he should be a bit earthy, shouldn`t he?).

Two years ago I saw him on an open air concert. It was a funny situation.
There was an amphitheatre,w here the audience sat, and the stage was down below. Behind the amphitheatre was some kind of a ring with a path out of the park. That was where my friends and me stood, behind the audience, far away from stage, at this ring, which was the highest place to stand. Oh yes and I remember we were standing next to a streetlight.
Perfect position to stand as we could see and hear everything but didn`t have to get suffocated by the crowd (my aquarius Moon doesn`t feel too well, stuffed into a close sitting crowd *shudders*).
However, that guy was singing a Robbie William`s song, "Feel", and while singing he started going the aisle up to exactly where I was standing. He was actually having a microphone in his hand, which he held into the audience now and then, and when he marched straight towards me with that mike, I actually went into hiding. I was utterly shocked. Really, noone will ever hear me sing in public. lol
But that was the first time I noticed him; and the first thing I did was running away.

Then coincidentally he appeared on that concert last february and gave an outstanding performance.

And now I booked some tickets for "Jesus Christ Superstar" (He is gonna play Jesus). I didn`t really book the tickets because he plays the role, but because I really want to see the musical itself. Hard to believe, but a musical fan like me has never seen JCS live before.

But it`s not because of him. You know, he is a good performer and he seems to be nice and he spreads a very enthusiastic, positive vibration (must be Sun, Moon and MErcury in Sagittarius), but I really didn`t develop a "crush" on him or something like that.

It`s a bit like I am drawn to seeing him (which I am I admit) almost against my will. I mean why do you feel the URGE to see someone, you don`t even like? Well, you know there are different forms of liking. Of course I like him, but I don`t LIKE him. ARe you as confused now as I am?

AStrologically speaking I noticed that there are a lot of similiar and polar aspects in the natal charts, like we both have a Sagittarius-vibe going on, both have a Capricorn-Venus. Both a Venus-Pluto-square (his is a tad wide with 5°, but I think it`s still in effect), he also has a Mars antiscia Pluto.
Both having Mars-Jupiter-aspects as well as Mars-Neptune and some more.

WEll, it only confirms what I thought: that even actors or artists you admire will have something in their charts or synastry that explain why you admire them. There must be some kind of a HOOK.
