Just saw these mentioned in a thread below. Unfortunately the board search function is not working for me, and I would like some more info about them.I just ran a chart and although there was no contact between the two asteroids, I did notice that the male's Valentine is conjunct her Sun and Venus and opposite her moon. Any relevance or do they have to have a contact between the asteroids only to be important? IP: Logged |

From a post from Iqhunk:IQHUNK: Asteroid Valentine making a double whammy to Venus, Mars, Pluto, Neptune or True Node. I wish I could find the other post on it....but I think the aspect you have is significant. Hopefully someone else can find it or has it bookmarked. ------------------ give me more Love, or more disdain; the torrid, or the frozen zone bring equal ease unto my paine: the temperate affords me none; either extreme, of love or hate, is sweeter than a calme estate

Amor is very significant in my own experience. However, Amor is not sexual planet like Venus. Iqhunk knows more information regarding Valentine. He mentioned it last month in a post. Iqhunk, if you can give some insight, we would be really appreciated... I cannot use search function too. Can anyone give us some help, please? Alisa IP: Logged |

I get most of my charts on astro.com. However, I wasn't able to find either one of these asteroids. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thank you.IP: Logged |

Go to the free section, then extended chart selection. Near the bottom, there's an options for asteriods. You have to look it up on the provided list, then input the asteriod's #. I use Zet 8, which has a plugin for asteriods. IP: Logged |

I have Valentine conjunct True Node double whammy with the love of my life. We have so many negative synastry aspects but this one placement seems to be erasing their effect.Additionally her Ascendant at 13.37 Capricorn conjuncts my Asteroid Karma at 13.37 Capricorn. Look at the conjunction that is accurate to the last minute of her birth. We have good Amor placements too. Thats why I am very confident about these Asteroids aspecting the True Node and personal planets like Venus-Mars. Give me some time, I will try to list as many possibilities about these Asteroids. For instance, Composite Valentine in 8th House could mean love for each other will be expressed through passionate sex. I think this is a very fortunate placement IP: Logged |

Thanks IQhunk, look forward to you getting back to us on this one. I'm struggling to find info about it. Have now checked again the chart I referred to at the top of the thread and have found the following:Composite Both Am and Val conjunction on Chiron Both Am and Val OPPOSITION on Pluto Both Am and Val Trine on Neptune No sun or venus contacts in the composite Synastry Her Amor sextile his Sun His Valentine conjunct her Sun, Venus, and Saturn (very tight conjuction) His Valentine is opposite her Moon Not sure of the implications here, but would think there may be some kind of Karma going on with the Pluto and Saturn stuff? Or maybe that is not relevant. Thanks again IQhunk! IP: Logged |

Hi 13anshee, I already studied your chart in detail for the asteroids, so I will definitely look it up for the basics. Basics do not take much time. What you can do is learn the basics from Tim Wilson's website: http://geocities.com/wilsontctc/Step_1_Inner_and_outer_focus.htm Then read about every planet in house or sign in http://www.astrology-numerology.com/ IP: Logged |

Lynx, Asteroids have a subtle effect. The more you evolve, the more you feel their effect as a focused expression fo your natals. The common man who does not care about spirituality will not feel much of any asteroids, he would be largely governed by the personal planets and Saturn.CardinalGal wrote <<What does it mean if your Valentine is conjunct your partner's Pluto and your Chiron is conjunct their Amor>> Valentine conjunct Pluto means obsessive and passionate love that can even cause wars. Think of Menelaus, Helen and the Trojan War. Chiron conj Amor means a love that knows how to wound and also how to heal the Soul. Nove wrote: <<What does it mean if your Valentine is opposite someone's Amor? >> This means a conflict on loving the person as a spouse as opposed to loving the person in general. The conflict could manifest as dislike depending on other planetary aspects. IP: Logged |

Oh, i know LQ, it just seemed that these asteriods are being used exclusively for composite/synastry. I feel overwhelmed by all of this and dont quite understand how you guys know so much about asteriods. IP: Logged |

IqhunkWhat are the difference between Valentine and Venus in terms of "kind of love"? From my experience, Amor make the person love deeper than Venus. Anyone ever check this out? I looked at synastry of my friends who have '"love of life". I found that they would have Amor aspect another person planet. Alisa IP: Logged |

IQHunk, hi there, if you get back to this thread can you give me some advice please? I was the person who started the thread but my questions seem to have been lost in the crowd Copied from above: Composite Both Am and Val conjunction on Chiron Both Am and Val OPPOSITION on Pluto Both Am and Val Trine on Neptune No sun or venus contacts in the composite Synastry Her Amor sextile his Sun His Valentine conjunct her Sun, Venus, and Saturn (very tight conjuction) His Valentine is opposite her Moon Thanks! Hi Alisa, I agree with you 100%. Venus is generic and governs so many things like feelings towards love, cash, luxuries, sense of beauty, charm and so on. Amor focuses only on the Energy of Love. This is the advantage of asteroids, they show us the exact focus of a particular emotion or feature. As a test, just see if any chart has AMOR conjunct a planet. That person would love those things ruled by the planet. example: AMOR conjunct Mars person would love physical sports/eenrgy/arguments AMOR conjunct Venus person would love beauty, money, luxury. AMOR conjunct Saturn person would love authority, rigidity, structures and long term ambitions. AMOR conjunct Pluto person would love sex, speculations, dictatorship, obsessions and deep emotions. AMOR conjunct Mercury would love playing with words, data, facts and being cerebral. AMOR conjunct Jupiter person would love religion and travel. Coming to asteroids, AMOR conjunct say LUST person will definitely love sex. AMOR conjunct GOLD would love gold/jewellery and so on. IP: Logged |
