The more I look at events/births/things that have already happened, the more that I notice that Karma seems to be OPPOSITE the event (or planet, house, asteroid) that would signify the event. In this case an opposition wouldn't be a negative energy, but would signify a fruition of Karma?

I am somewhat new to astrology, and I have been trying very hard to listen to everyone's suggestion to not skip ahead and master the basics before moving on to the other stuff. That being said, it would seem my willpower is not quite up to Scorpio par... I seem to keep being drawn to karmic and past life part of astrology, and your topic here on the asteroid Karma has peaked my interest on a number of occasions. Thankfully, I always got stuck at the first post about the history of the asteroid and figured it wasn't about what I had thought and moved on. Well, tonight my curiosity seems to have killed the cat, and I made it all the way to the "good stuff"... LOL!

You did a very good job of describing Karma in the signs, Karma in retrograde, and my one Karma aspect (Sun opp Karma). But, I do have a question, and I am not quite sure if it has been covered yet (because this topic is quite long and I can't seem to get the search page to work).

Mine:
Karma in Taurus 25°54’28" in the 5th house in retrograde

What do you think that the significance of a Karma (in retrograde, no less, lol) conjunct the fixed star Algol would be, if any? I wouldn't have asked except for my remember something about it being the most malefic of all the fixed stars. All things considered, that concept does not exactly give me the feeling of lollipops and cotton candy... What I am wondering is if you think that might be significant of the fact that perhaps I have quite a bit of negative karma that I have had to pay the price for (maybe in other lives, since we are talking about Karma) or perhaps that I am going to have to pay the price for...or perhaps you have another possible interpretation...?

"Retrograde" can be best defined as "If you dont learn and then leap again before looking you will jump out of the frying pan into the fire". Non-retrogrades will stay in the frying pan.

5th House Taurus represents Possessive Entrepreneurship, Musical Creativity, Materialistic Romance, Real Estate Speculation Luck and a Tasteful Zest for the luxurious life. Karma retrograde here means a destiny to balance excesses in things like the above points by moderation, responsbility and prudent generosity.
The 26 degrees does have the malefic nature of Algol. One or more past lifelines have practically or figuratively slit some one else's throat. How can this be balanced?
Enable others to speak up for their rights.
It will work wonders.

Thank you so much for your response. Looking at my chart, it would seem I have lots of karmic issues to overcome this lifetime... Thankfully, I incarnated as a Scorpio, so let's bring it on...

I am curious about your conclusion to "enable people to speak up for their rights", though. My Karma being in Taurus, I would have figured that balancing the negative karma would have something to do with learning to be less materialistic or perhaps giving my stuff to people in need or perhaps helping others to achieve material success at my expense, or something like that (for lack of better ways to describe those concepts).

Also, do you believe that house placement has any bearing on Karma or is it purely sign placement?

I am also curious what you think that my Karma opposing my Sun, Anubis, and Siva might mean. You already covered Sun opposing Karma, but I was wondering if the Anubis and Siva in the mix had any significance.

One more thing, you mentioned a Karma conjunct your other's Ascendant was good, but given that mine seems to carry a lot of negative karmic debt, would my Karma conjunct my bf's Ascendant be bad or perhaps bad for him in some way?

My brother's Saturn is exactly square my Karma. I dealt with his alcoholism for years.

I asked my psychic if perhaps I had behaved poorly in a previous incarnation. She said that my slate had been wiped clean prior to my current incarnation.

Apparently my strained relationships with my siblings have to do with my learning to say "no."

What are the effects of asteroid Pandora?
My asteroid Pandora is at Capricorn 8°50' in 8th house.
Her asteroid Pandora is at Virgo 17°26' in 3rd house.

All aspects are in 1 degree.

My asteroid Pandora conjuncting with her Sun and squaring her Pluto are the aspects that don't look good to me. Any insight?

I have read through this thread many times and so if I missed the answer to my question I apologize in advance

I have a couple questions about natal Karma.

First, I have it at 8 degrees Libra. I have read many times that this cannot be a good thing due to that degree representing the Vindamiatrix (ie - the Widow-maker).

Further, it is exactly conjuncting my Pluto, which is is also at 8 degrees Libra. Both Karma and Pluto are in my 4th house.
(Also, transiting Juno is currently conjuncting these natal bodies right now and the best relationship I've ever had just ended...)

Second, my natal Karma is squaring my descendant which is at Capricorn at 9 degrees.

What should I interpret from these placements? And would other placements in my chart soften the seemingly ill effects of these aspects? What do you know about the 8th degree of Libra in general?

I know the Karma Ascendant Conjunction does something to me but if I can get a possible suggestion then I can relate and verify / validate its effect. instead of me guessing forever how it effects me.

oh yea it also opposes my true node which just sounds plain sh*tty! I hope I can evolve in this lifetime. If I had to guess I would say my karma is very good... I am a person with very good intentions and a good heart. atleast I think so

I want to know how do you find information on the aspects between minor asteroids like valentine Isis and juno. Is there a book or what?
