I've been reading about the North Node. I'm told that it is, arguably, the most significant part of the natal chart because it points to the direction in life where you can grow.

Any thoughts?

My north node in aquarius in the 9th house is very alien to me. And so I guess it's what I have to learn. The south node (past life?) in leo in the 3rd house makes much more sense and is much more familair...I'm leo-like and write for a living. It's my 'comfort zone.' So my challenge, I guess, is to become less ego/creative and more humanitarium/philosophical in this life?

Where are you your nodes Beowulf?

Trust a scorp to ask me where my nodes are. He he A little bit of investigation doesn't hurt anyone.

My north node is in Taurus 17 degrees (I think?) In my second house.

My south node is in Scorpio (I think near or conjunct my Eros) and in the 8th house. Yup, you've guest it. My 'comfort' zone is in bed. I'm really happy when I'm having sex, and I revel in it. I revert to this whenever I have any free time.

But it causes me problems. If I stay in bed all day having sex I don't get anything done. I don't earn any money!!! I don't take care of business. And everything starts to fall apart. Hey, I'm not a 'rent boy' He He. Maybe I should be!! Ha Ha Ha. I might make alot of money that way!!

The use of resources, money and such has always been a big issue with me. Not necessarily in a bad way but, I've always wanted to be rich. I strive for it. It's something that is on my mind alot. I've got a notice board in my office with 'The Acquisition of Wealth' printed across the top. To remind me where I'm headed. Don't you think that is weired!!!

Anyhow... got to go and teach my private pupils now... thanks for that anyway... take care

My attitude, however, changed somewhat when I read Linda G's chapter on the Money Mystique, about 10 years ago, and so I've tried to follow those guidelines in my life: give 10% away! I do this with my company as well... give to charities in various ways: wall charts, free gigs ect... my favourite is KIND (Children In Need & Distress.

Okay... so the south node is readily accessable, but what about the north node? What does it signify about my growth, future developement? Does it point to problems I might face? Or areas I need to master?

I've haven't been here for a while and I needed to leave from here because of the mental tension I've endure and the sensitivity that reached it's peak.

I have a North Node in Virgo/8th House. I have learned to simply embrace my heavily strong sexuality. I don't know why...but I've learn to put up with it. I cannot change it.

Mines in Cancer in the fourth. Which I’m still in denial about would much prefer something funky and unique, but hey simple is nice too.

I only did 3 of the full-blown entire chapter interps, it was just tooooooo much -- but I would recommend Jan Spiller's book for ANYONE's personal library!! Wonderful, incomparable interps -- well worth the investment.....

My North Node is in Gemini (3rd House). According to the descriptions, I have to develop more tact. Well, there might be some truth in that, because I really tend to be too blunt and straight-forward sometimes (to a certain extent I can also blame my Sag sun for this, I guess). As for the tendencies I should leave behind ... "self-rightousness", "needing to be right", "taking oneself too seriously" ... yeah, that sounds like me. I really do need to be right all the time. I can't stand when people disagree with me in a discussion. And I definitely take myself too seriously. This is a trait about me that I actually hate. I find it hard to let loose every once in a while. And I really want to change that.

Natasoula yes!! It’s an amazing aspect to share with someone. I have it with my beau, it’s amazing…though I did hesitate at the start ( I’m the north node person ). But it is lovely

First thing I noticed, is that your chart is bottom heavy, suggesting you’re more private. Your chart is also left handed, indicating you’ll work and earn what you have rather than have it handed over…you take the initiative. The majority of your planets are mutable suggesting you’ll lean more towards communication - rather than “taking action“ like cardinals, you’ll study it, sticking with it...learning all the way, until you lose interest. You’ll also be more concerned about relationships, and very adaptable.

What I’m getting is you may have been overly pompous and stubborn over your beliefs and possibly forced your views on others. Key words here are possessiveness and possessions as well as self-righteousness.
Looking at your planets, you only have one retrograde and it’s neptune.
