as a moon in taurus just ended a relationship with moon in scorp, i must agree that it was very tiring/draining for me, i feel much happier, lighter and healthier. I still keeping a light friendship with this guy because i hate to leave a bad taste in anybody's else mouth.

i do understand he is a good guy, but for me to babysit someone emotion/feelings all the time was 2 much work the past yr and a half, i think thats his job to get it in check by stop living his life via "self-fulliling prophecy"

as for moon in taurus, wht u see is wht u get, im very honest about my feelings and i like to deal with ppl who are frank and fearless. i dont mind to interpretate someone else deep feeling try to understand them, but if they dont open up, its just all BS for me.

Once I realized as a Taurus that EVERYONE had a hidden agenda, it was easier for me. It's just not a Taurus world.

on the negative side, I really DO NOT feel loved by Scorpios, they almost always dislike new people they meet if they do not have control over the situation and a Taurus does not know how to make others feel comfortable-they are passive.

Scorpios could learn a lot by stopping the coy games and saying what they want directly-
The plus side for Scorpio is that Taurus likes to be led, it's not that difficult to have a friendship as long as the intentions are good.

Taurus is not innocent or pure, but they do like good intentions in the future, and are goal oriented. Scorpios can be too immediate, and make Taurus wary.

I have had too many Scorpio friends say
Put it on your credit card, only to forget who I am the next day. Scorpios are impulsive emotionally, and tend to believe their truth is the real truth, AND that they are justified in every action as long as they are not accountable or feeling guilty.

As if only one person's perception matters! That is arrogant to me.

Certain points should not be taken lightly between people, but when I say to a Scorpio, back off on this subject, to find common ground, I always get walked on!

In Scorpio's defense I have an 8th house Cancer Moon and I find Taurus moon men want mothers, not lovers, and they don't like a woman to be equal. Must be a macho thing.

Either way I feel Taurus spends too much time trying to fit in, and Scorpio spends too much time trying to be cool and bossy.

But neither bother me as much as Aries.

And to top this off, my mother, grandmother, and two aunts, brother-in-law and niece are Scorpios.

well maybe you should chat with others!..for me, basically every single taurus I have known HAS NOT been sex obsessed.

similar to any good scientific study, you need a broad scope, outside of your own experiences. Maybe you should listen to others, because it debunks your theory. But what you say debunks theres..so we are at an eternal stand still.

I've only had problems with 2 of them. One in my childhood and one in present.

I've known a couple that lacked integrity, but I've also known some that are really great people.

My mother is a Taurus... I really admire her. She is the most patient woman I've ever met... She makes me feel a little more secure and have a little more faith in people in general. I couldn't ask for a better person. I really don't know if she realizes how I see her. She'd most likely be a little embarrassed.

Of course there are a couple of things that we don't really agree on... but she let's me have my own views, and I do the same for her.

If I "have" to list something about Taurus that we seem to clash on...

NOTE: I'm not saying "all" Taurus.

4 of them that I know seem to put more stock into a person's social standing, how much money they make, etc. than I do.

A couple of them will back-pedal and not understand or take responsibility when they anger people.

As for the cheap thing.... eeeesshhh I wish I were a little more so. I'm usually the one that buys dinner.

Of course I have 5 planets in my 2nd house... maybe that helps?

As for being cheap, wouldn't one look to things like the placement of certain planets and/or the houses that rule money matters?

I think I'm the typical Scorp in that respect from what I've read about Scorp Sun signs and money - ie; that we vacillate between being tight-wads and overly generous. If my security is threatened I can be the most frugal person you've met, but otherwise I tend to be overly generous. I love giving gifts.

I have never met a sex obsessed female Taurus. Or a male Taurus for that matter, and I've dated a few Taurus' over the years. But I suppose it's relative - what a Gemini might find sex-obsessed, a Scorpio might find to be bordering on frigid

Actually, words like "promiscuous", "**** ", and "sex obsessed" are never words that come to mind when referring to any female earth sign I've known.

As for how Taurus and Scorpio work together, well my problems w/ the hubs stemmed more from a 12th house stellium and a bunch of Virgo influences rather than his Sun Sign.

Both signs like security when it comes to matters of the heart, both are passionate and sensuous, and both are blunt in my experience (well, speaking Scorp femme, Taurus male). I think those are things that help attract what are essentially supposed to be opposites.

The two signs get on each other's nerves I think partially because of Scorpio's intensity. Scorpio can get annoyed at Taurus' seeming lack of it, and Taurus can get annoyed by Scorpios overabundance of it. But at the same time, Scorpio likes that Taurus isn't intense cause even a Scorp can recognize that too much of the same is just too much, and Taurus likes to live vicariously through Scorpio's intensity. Lotsa dichotomies from what I can tell...wondering if that's the way w/ all opposites...

Wait a minute, now I remeber what I originally came here to discuss. My bf and his brother. They are so opposite, yet the very alike. Their suns are opposite (Scorpio-Taurus), their mercuries are opposite (sag-gem) and even their venuses are opposite (aries-libra). They don't even look related. But they're close. The funniest thing is watching them argue and it's always over something ridiculous....like the Bronco's team colors.Go figure

Their both a little eccentric, but I like that about them. There's something mercurial about them both... really fidgity, can't sit still.
