Hello to all of you ) I'm appealing to all the experienced people her – it's about man/woman relationship with a very strong synastry – her Saturn square his Sun, her Chiron conj. his Venus, her Sun conj his North node, her Moon on his Vertex, his Saturn on her Asc. Now I have used the Davison Relationship Chart – again... very strong aspects. Pluto conjuncts Mercury, Venus and Mars. Moon trines North node and conjuncts uranus. Lilith opposes Uranus, Jupiter squares Moon. Venus conjuncts Mars. Are these aspects important for their own? How should I interpret them – like the aspects in synastry or...? What do these aspects say about the relationship? How reliable is this Davison chart? Help needed here and thanks in advance IP: Logged |

Hi Kittie ~ The Davison is a composite that uses time and space. In a composite, the mid-points between the individual planets of the natal charts is found. Without the time and space, however, the chart is not showing actual planetary placements and, therefor, is not useable for any transit or, progressed analysis. The Davison gives a date, time and location and, in such, the Davison can actually be considered in the same ways that a natal chart can...it is the birth chart of 2 energies combined.~ geminstone IP: Logged |

Thanks! I'm curious too... which is more reliable - composite or Davison? I found some major differences between the two types. Composite gives me one kind of aspects, Davison gives me totally different. Synastry, of course, gives third point of view.

Hi again, Kittie and Lovegoblin ~ I am not yet of the greatest understanding, as far as astrology interpretations and, only have one theory with regard to the significance of each of the composites... It was in another string a while ago, that another member made the suggestion that the Composite could show how the energy combination is encountered outside of itself and the Davison being the 'behind closed doors' of the energy... The Davison is the only one that shows transit and progression etc... as it is figured with time and space... Synastry shows the areas and issues within, each individual's life, that the partner effects by way of one's planet placements in other's houses. I guess, in a way, the 3 could be put into the terms of Sun,Moon,Asc... maybe saaayyy....Davison akin to Sun, Composite akin to Asc and the Synastry akin to Moon...? or, something like that...I don't know, as I said, all just theory but, all these methods are valid, in my own opinion. I do favor the Davison, personally, as it is a birth chart and can be utilized in all the ways a natal has ability... Anyway, that be my ideas, with help from another member's theory and, my own personal experiences... ~ geminstone IP: Logged |

Hey, geminstone, thanks for sharing this The problem is I find intense aspects in Davison... like a stellium of Venus, Mercury and Mars conjunct Pluto and stuff like this. On the other hand, the Composite gives me very poor aspects.. like Saturn opposite Venus and Venus suare Uranus and Mars conjunct Pluto. But in the Composite our Moon and Sun is in the 7th house. Thenk Davsion gives Saturn in the 7th house and Moon in the 1st. It's really difficult to understand it IP: Logged |

Kittie,Here are some links with more information for you. It's really up to personal preference as to which you use. http://www.cafeastrology.com/compositechart.html The composite chart, unlike the Davison Relationship Chart, is derived by taking the mathematical midpoint between each person's planets and points. The Davison Time-Space Relationship chart is similar to the composite chart, except that it is drawn for the date, place, and time that is exactly midway between the individuals' birth times and places. Composite charts and Davison Relationship charts often look similar. However, Davison charts have "time and space" reality—these charts are drawn for real points in time and space, and include phenomena (such as retrogrades and eclipses) that composite charts do not. So, while we can progress the Davison Relationship chart using traditional techniques, if we want to study the progressed composite chart, we first progress the natal charts of the individuals to a specific date, and then make a composite of those progressed charts. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/relationshipdavidson26.0.htm The Relationship Chart and the Composite Horoscope

I'm wondering, can this be used as a tool for couples counselling? Is it possible to work on the challenges that may be presented in a Davison chart?IP: Logged |

I think, after all I read about it /which doesn't mean I understand it /, that it's indeed used in couples counselling. I'm still learning. I also look synastry and Davison together - they reveal different energies. IP: Logged |

I agree that Davidson looks more attractive. I also have Venus conjunct Mar in Davidson chart but Venus conjunct Saturn in Composite chart. Anyway, I find that Davidson chart in very useful in my forecasting for couples. For example, when I read charts of two people, sometimes I am not quite sure when they would be good luck in love together and so on, I would use progressed Davidson Chart to confirm my prediction. 90% of the time, when they break up, at least one of the following three points would perform hard aspect to saturn: Venus Cupido Sun/Cupido midpoint

Wow... I don't know too much about it but all of that Scorpio looks very intense (and all of those same planets in the 7th house, wow)! Very sexual relationship, but there could be a lot of jealousy and possessiveness if the two of you aren't careful... lucky that Jupiter is in Scorpio in the 7th house, that seems great to me considering your sun, Mercury and Venus are all there too. A lot of passion but the relationship could go bad if there's too much jealousy involved...? Not sure about the Virgo moon...Bear in mind I'm no expert and I'm just offering my very amateur interpretation. If anyone would like to correct me then please do go ahead!
