I just got done reading about astrological opposites, I find that my experience with my opposite(Aries) there is usually a mutual attraction, they usually make the first move by coming on (coffee strong), want me to submit to there every desire(sexual or not), and trying hard for the S&M scenerio to kick in(not to my liking) but in the end it never works out because we both try to take the lead in the relationship, and there to much of a power struggle going on. Awwww... at least it was fun while it lasted. lol! Does anybody have an experience with their opposite thats worth sharing IP: Logged |

Hello Libra, I am a Virgo, a true Virgo from the middle of the cycle. I am Earth, and my first love was a Sagattaist.(Mispelled) and we both fell desperately in love. He was a Fire sign, and we married 3 times trying to make a life together. He was so full of life and always kept busy. I was a homebody and tried to tie him down. He always loved me until his dying day, but we just couldn't live together. I loved him for his Warm and comforting and Protective way that he had for me and our children, but he was a different person when I wasn't around. He was funny, a woman loving man, smooth dancer and outdoorsman. He could do almost any kind of work. He provided a nice and comfortable home for me and our children and wanted us to always be there for him. He just had this other Calling on his life too. I don't blame him for his Wild streak. He embraced life and went where it took him and fought battles and won. I am quiet and rather shy, and learned so much from this wonderful man. I know we had a love that not many people would understand, but with him by my side I knew I would be ok. We divorced many times and he would remarry, but he never let me go. He was on his way back to me when God took him home. I was Earth and he was Fire. I could put his flame out, or he could warm my cold earth. I guess you could look at it both ways and then you must Have known us to really understand. Just know today, I miss him so much and would love for him to come back to us again. We love him forever!------------------

The positive: they’re SO funny and clever. No one makes me laugh like them. The negative: they want to kill me My friend’s virgo baby, that I take care of, has given me so many bites and scratches, it’s amazing. Yet I still think he’s adorable…( tho I do need to keep my eyes out of reach ) IP: Logged |

LC7 - I too am opposite Aries I haven't been in a romantic relationship with an Aries BUT... My best friend is an Aries and we have this little joke that if one of us were the opposite sex we would've got married within wks of meeting because we are so in tune wth each other HOWEVER her newish partner (few months) is an Aries and I can't stand him! Also my niece is an Aries and although I love her very much I have great difficulty understanding her tendency to run hot and cold. One minute I'll go to kiss her and she'll turn her face away and the next she throws herself at me for hugs etc. Also my Sag daughter has Aries Moon and although we have a great relationship I have alot of difficulty understanding her moods... I guess it's a reflection of something I read of Linda's, it's either love or hate but no middle ground ------------------ ...to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever... My opposite is Pisces.. I've had nothing but good experiences with them! One of my closest friends is a Pisces. Even though I don't see her that much anymore (we live far away), I still think of her as a sister. My boyfriend is a Pisces, and he truely is my other half. He is also one of my best friends. Every Pisces I have met, I get along great with. Even though I'm a virgo, I think it's because I have Neptune in the 1st house. P.S. Can you tell that I just found the list of smilies? lol, I love them! IP: Logged |

Hi Blueeyes, HOney, I hope I can shed some light on your relationship with the Pices. He is a water sign. You are Virgo. Linda always taught in her book to be with signs that blend if you go outside of your Earth group. Mixing water with earth could be fine. You just have to be careful not to have too much of him and maybe a Mud slide. I have found her instructions to be right on the market so many times- Good luck with your Picese, sharon------------------

Hi Sharon... I liked your previous message about your thrice over Sagittarius husband. Thanks for sharing.I don't know though, when it comes to Earth and Water, it's a good blend. A sextile. I like to think of it as a mud mask to clarify. Opposites ( six signs away -opposition) really are.. either great or not so great. Very rarely will it be a between. I am usually great with my opposite. ( Taurus) But then I also have a Capricorn Moon, which trines by sign their Sun.. so that could definately help in the dynamics. IP: Logged |

Wow, Sharon! That's really touching! You have a way with words! I'm a Sag so my opposite is Gemini. Which is also my Moon placement.. *sigh* I live with a gemini, and my stepdad is a gemini, and 3 of my friends are geminis. However, I don't think I will ever love one, per se. I almost know them too well, and see my problems IN them. I think I can learn a lot from my opposing Geminis, but they do get on my nerves too often. They never let me explain myself, because they assume they know exactly who I am. ~shirty IP: Logged |

My opposite is Cancer. There's often an immediate attraction. When I get together with one, the sparks generally fly very fast. All the physical aspects of the relationship are great. The problem is that there's never any friendship. It's all romance and passion, but when it comes down to practical matters, there's always a power struggle and neither side can really get behind the other because both signs are so self-involved.With male Cancers I can seem to get a friendship going, but it never gets too deep. I don't think I've ever had a Cancerian best friend. IP: Logged |

Hmmmmmm, my past experiences with a few Libran men....they think I'm their ideal mate and I hear "Your perfect for me" - and it makes me want to shake my head. Reason why, I don't see it how they do. Anything Libra or 7th house scares me and has me running to the hills in great speed. But then I have sun opposite uranus in libra so, I don't go into commitments very easily.....With a sun uranus connection in synastry - it's uranus who can't keep the commit..I find in my experiences. I have a distant cousin, who is a nun and a very nice Libra lady. I love her to bits and I always have a nice visit with her. We seem to learn from each other and have interesting stories to share. ID Come to think of it. I have Moon in Cancer and I seem to get a long well with Capricorns born towards the end of Cappy. IP: Logged |

I am Pisces and I have prolly had more Virgo boyfriends then any other sign.I have had very spiritual experiences with them and I have not like other things. But what I do like mostly about them is I can talk to them, I can pour my heart out to Virgo's and somehow they seem to understand me. I have attracted alot of Virgo's. I think all in all with friendship too I have attract 7 Virog men in my life, not to mention my dad and the father of my son is Virgo.. IP: Logged |

I like Cappy women, they have a very nice sense of humor. We clash sometimes because of differences; like when I get moody, or when we both want to be the leader. Other than that, they're cool. Cap men are a completely different story. They stay away from me; like completely avoid me. They might as well hold up a cross when I walk by. A former Sag friend of mine started dating one and he keeps on running his mouth about how I'm bad because I ended the friendship with her "otu of the blue". It wasn't out of the blue, It was after I got sick tired of her flaking out on me when we made plans. I got sick and tired of her taking me for granted. IP: Logged |

AcousticGod, I know what your saying, it's the exact same thing with (Aries) and me, there is too much quick passion and usually no friendship, because they want the physicalness almost right after the minute of meeting. There should always be some sort of friendship first whether it's with your opposite or another sign, it really does build a foundation for the relationship.IP: Logged |

To me, that's a big life lesson, Libraschoice. I'm pretty much walking away from Cancers, and exploring relationships closer to my end of the zodiac. May not get that same initial passion, but I hope that by developing a deep friendship alongside love that a more real intimacy grows out of it.IP: Logged |

I've known two pisces, one male, one female. I got along with the male but it ended badly when I told his girlfriend-who was his ex at the time and he claimed to hate that he said she was a psycho ***** from hell. (The context of the conversation made it a natural thing to say)The female, well she was a lying, coniving, backstabbing, immoral, unethical....what made it worse is that she came off as this sweet, motherly type person at first. So from my experience I'm not good for the pisces and they not good for me because I am straightforward and they tend to hide. At least the two I've encountered. ------------------ Sun Virgo, moon Pisces, Libra rising, mercury venus 12th house all conjunct, Mars Leo. IP: Logged |

A wonderful example of opposites attracting. Bobby the Aquarian and Witney the Leo. The constant fighting but love; completely in tune with each other but can't ever be fused if you know what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBUWYZXbu0g IP: Logged |

23, I have to say that between all the drugs, rehab, and court appearances-that is a HORRIBLE example of opposites attracting. The funny part is that Sylvia Browne says they're soulmates, which I believe because they've been together so long, and that is the only explanation I can fathom for why they're still together.

My greatest obsession, my heartbreak. Her: Taurus Sun Gemini Moon Taurus Merc Pisces Venus Libra Mars Virgo Asc Me: Scorpio Sun Libra Moon Scorpio Merc Scorpio Venus Capricorn Mars Leo Asc She has her photos all over the net. I doubt she would mind me putting them here. The combination of our personalities was too much to handle. We shared some kisses, got a little physical. But ultimately our natures make each other too uncomfortable to form anything stable. We would be a horrible couple... but it doesn't stop me from wanting her. IP: Logged |

My opposite is scorpio. I have known 2 scorpios one is my favourite aunt and the other was my boss at work. I always used to say to my Mum (libra) why can't you be more like Aunt Judy. And my boss and I were good friends. If you ever made a mistake she wanted to know about it straight away. As long as you didn't try and hide it, you were OK. She'd tell it like it was, in a very funny way.BTW: Scorpionic Web My sun, moon, asc and merc are opposite yours.

Dulce Luna - yeah it is quite bad but you can really see the love behind them and the attraction between them if you remove the peripheral junk. Still its funny watching them isn't it? LOL - they're like my parents, except my parents are a leo and and a scorpIP: Logged |
