I recently read that the Yod/Finger of God configuration is the most fated in astrology. I found that I have one in my chart:Pluto/10/Virgo (1st House) Neptune/15/Scorpio (3rd House) Mercury/11/Aries (8th House) Can anyone illuminate me? Thanks, Maire IP: Logged |

great links thread! thanks zala My Imum Coeli is the apex of a Neptune/Pluto/IC Yod. Uranus is the "boomerang" planet on the Midheaven.

This is from "The Dynamics of Astrology" by Rev. Alice Miller--available at www.lifeprintastrology.com The Yod The Basic Yod is A triangle composed of two quincunxes and A sextile. In this configuration, each point of the sextile has some kind of problem with the common Yod point which must be settled before the sextile can function. This may not be accomplished before midlife. In some way the two quincunxes are actually part of the same issue. Begin there, watching for guilt issues. EXAMPLE: Some parents with dysfunctional relationships expect the child to take sides. Natives feel disloyal whichever choice they make. The feeling of needing to make an emotionally untenable choice can hold life energies hostage for years, so that forward motion is hindered. Often the resolution will be the realization that the parents were in agreement, even if they only agreed to disagree. Another possible resolution is to change the definition of who/what your parents are. Still another is to realize that you are an adult and the parental mandates no longer apply. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. My Imum Coeli is the apex of a Neptune/Pluto/IC Yod. Uranus is the "boomerang" planet on the Midheaven. The 4th house is the "nest" into which we are born. The Neptune/Pluto sextile is about rising consciousness--so you have to leave (at least part of) your childhood behind first. Then you will be inspired/Uranus to change your goals in life/Midheaven. Pluto at the MC is destined to become influential, but the issues of the Yod must be solved first. Pluto/10/Virgo (1st House) Neptune/15/Scorpio (3rd House) Mercury/11/Aries (8th House) I suspect that this is a sexual and/or gender issue. It may be keeping you from thinking or speaking/Mercury with the full (intuitive-creative)power of the sextile, "because you are the wrong gender"........which is also conditioning, but common and traditional. Aries in the 8th may devalue Males, or at least the masculine "voice"/Mercury. This could be a frustrated poet. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. It's looks like your Yod is about your communication style or your intellect, probably not inspirational and spiritual enough to make a profound difference in the world. IP: Logged |
