I have Uranus in the 5th house - in Sagitarius. It's also a double singleton.

I had heard before that a 5th house Uranus indicates "teenage mothers" so to speak. I unexpectedly fell pregnant at age 17 (I was using birth control!) and had my son not long after I turned 18. He is now 6 and doing great - his school have recognised him a 'gifted' (he has a reading age of 10 and unsurprisingly, a photographic memory!!!). However, he also has slightly autistic quirks (not officially) and an scary amount of nervous energy (no earth in his chart except for some 6th house action). He's a very good kid, but can be maddeningly contrary!!! (I wonder where he gets it from, eh?!) Unexpected though he was - he was a lovely surprise!

Just like Arnicka's daughter (3rd post in), he has an Aquarius ASC and Uranus in the 1st house. How mad is that?!?!?!

With regards to relationships, I was very promiscuous in my younger days and played all the boys around! I had (and still somewhat do) a preference for more 'open' relationships and never wanted to marry. I was engaged until recently and spent 5 and a half wonderful years with a man. But I'm pretty sure that my cold/itchy feet were somewhat responsible for why we parted. I remained faithful all the way through, which I am proud of, as it was occasionally hard. My relationships have either been lots of fun or downright dark and abusive. And I don't think I want to get married - I just want people to want to marry me, if that makes sense!

and the marriage thing....they start wanting too much commitment and it starts to feel like a noose around the neck - as if i'm literally losing air. and i'm another one for separate homes if married -- maybe that's the only way it'd work. or at least my own damn room!!

You wouldnt think moon is that bad in 5th but i was probably the worst child ever i never listened i always knew what was best and i rebelled. When i got the ***** i would leave the country and go overseas for a year or two until i forgot who my family was and come back i was very independant and didnt care what anyone said, thought or did! If i was like this and im that moon represnted in my dads chart i dont want ot imagine what uranus will do in 5th !!!

His second child my brother is an aquarius and were both as restless as each other..

I've had a share of challenges in the relationship dept, sometimes me, sometimes them. Exciting? Wish it wasn't quite so! Life has never been straight forward, believe me!!!

How mad! Is your daughter a 2002 baby as well, Arnicka?! With Venus in Taurus, she's sure to be adorable!!! (I should know)!!!

After reading experiences of all above ppl,i can say that yes,5th house uranus somehow choose unstable partners,sudden relationships n sudden break ups,lots of creativity,eccentric mind and everything.

I am not a typical uranian person though.I believe in my religion and i wud never want to marry someone out of my religion or someone with screwed morals.May be its bcoz of my Cancer sun and Ascendant,i seriously don't know.

But since childhood i feel i am different and i think differently than others(even if i dont,i feel like that) I am rebellious towards traditions and customs.I am a free soul inside. But i fear being erratic and uncontrolled,which i am inside.

I had eccentric partners.I am not married. I do want to have a long term relationship which is secure but i hate traditional liabilities.I deeply believe in personal freedom but somehow i dun give it my partner i become too possessive abt him which creates rifts among us.

I am weird i've always felt it. My mind restless,with erratic and sudden thoughts,flight of ideas blah blah....

I badly want to have children though i am afraid how wud I raise them. I dun have confidence in myself that i'd be a wise mother. I love kids madly but it seems so diff to have them . My current partner(who is 7 years younger to me !)and to whome i may get married ( but there r a lot of hindrances innit) doesn't want to have kids atleast till 3 years.

My moon is in Pisces which makes me tooo sentimental

Relationships is definitely a bad part for me.And if u talk about creativity,i feel i've loads but its blocked,inhibited. I am restless,confused and unhappy all the time.I constantly feel i am not doing what i like and somehow i have to do things i dun like.

I even feel that my way of thinking,as in biologically is somewhat screwed. there is a lot of repitition and chaos. I dunno how did i become a Doc given my restless mind and troubled thinking.

If my Sun,moon and acendant were not in water signs,i'd probably be quite an eccentric,out going and crazy person with no religion or no morals :S

I married a Scorpio and am quickly getting ansy and questioning the wisdom of the decision. I have a Cancer Asc (with Jupiter near it), and Moon in Capricorn in the 7th, so I have this tug of war between my Sun in Aries and this Uranus thing. I had an urge to marry - but once I did it - then I feel an urgent need for freedom.

Scorpio can lead the women's illnesses and difficult conceiving - I have some of those issues.

i can be really funny and cool and a lot of fun. i do have a wild side and i know how to have fun. but with neptune there i can just imagine anyone i want and basically in my dreams i can see them clearly and lets just say were having fun.

I agree with the interpretation of kepler astrology about the "sense of humor". as for the unexpected pregnancies, i have to say that some sites i have read mention that pregnancie can be difficult as the person may avoid them for it limits the freedom.

about the element of surprise, it must be there. i dont know if necesarily it should be an unstable relationship. i am not fond of unstable relationships. i love stability (sun and venus in cancer and AC tauros), but there is the need for surprise.

i see from my experience, the need to be unique, the need to express myself fully without restrictions. i will rebel against any restriction to my self-expression.
